When used with an external fixed-position dipole antenna (available separately), the Simrad NSS Evo# provides an incredible 40 channels of AM/FM/SW/MW coverage or 160 channels of FM/AM for the original portable radios (7.5 kHz to 19 kHz and 21 kHz to 40.7 kHz). Additionally, since it can handle a greater bandwidth, the Simrad NSS Evo# is capable of receiving and decoding more satellites and radio stations than its predecessors, resulting in greater reliability and precision in all kinds of satellite work and aviation radio use.

While the original Simrad NSS radio was limited to 40 channels, the improved model can now be used to access 80 channels of AM/FM/SW/MW coverage or 160 channels of FM/AM, providing even greater flexibility and value in your radio fleet.

Tighter Packaging

Thanks to the innovative use of thermochromic plastic film and aluminum alloy, the Simrad NSS Evo# can be more tightly packed for travel or storage without sacrificing any of its sleek and aerodynamic design.
