These gorgeously captivating illustrations of the Amulet world were the reason I became hooked on the series as a geeky ten year old, but also the ultimate reason I have stayed invested in it as a savant over-eighteen year old.

#even with the later books in the series taking an unexpected genre detour and leaving many readers including me dissatisfied #i still love to marvel in how beautifully done the full page landscape/background art was done #truly wish the plot stayed consistent and navigated the readers through this gorgeous world a bit more thoroughly #so. so much potential #i may be a literature and novel boffin but these illustrations inspire me to think more artistically #amulet series #amulet kazu kibuishi #graphic novel illustrations ~ <3 #art #i smell a rewrite?
