in an estelle vesperia mood always always

was browsing cute outfits and thought this one really suits estelle, so i wanted to draw her wearing it !

first off, i just wanna say that i love tales of vesperia sm i'd play it over and over again if i had the time. i love making theories about it, making skits in my head, etc. This princess is a great character who excellently dodged being a mary sue in her universe, though the way she responds to easily traumatic situations is a bit suspicious... anyways, redesigning estelle's outfit was harder than i thought it'd be because i wanted it to be (somewhat) believeable for combat yet have a floral, princess-y vibe to it. i also knew i wanted to redesign the boots even though i'm not experienced with drawing shoes much because the original pair is just... well, it was something else. i liked her underdress (?) so i kept that, just making the bottom "petals" flare out more. her midsection is a bit busy, but i really liked the rouged shirt and corset combo i gave her. also she has a braided "crown" in her hair bc she's royal huehehe. if i gushed about the meaning behing every detail i'd be typing all night, and i've got homework.

Currently playing Tales of Vesperia, and was anyone gonna tell me that Rita is super gay for Estelle, or was I just supposed to find out myself?
