a cdrama till the end of the moon and how pretty all the costumes/jewerly/everything is. ooo i see a pretty headpiece and go all 🥰🥰🥰 ohhh the hairstyles. I MEAN THE STORY TOO although half of the times it gets me yelling NO DONT DO THAT OH MY GOD im really enjoying it and watching it makes me very happy. yippee.

It's not that I don't understand that Ted needs to go back to be with his son, it's just that I would have liked a little more emotion about the whole thing. Where was his excitement about going and sadness about leaving? Where was his acknowledgment of how much everyone meant to him, especially Rebecca and Beard? Why was there no mention about how this absolutely is not the final goodbye? That they'll see each other? That there's too much love there for them to let the other fade? Honestly, Jason's whole silent, stoic, stiff-upper lip performance this episode felt a bit like Emmy's bait and I am not here for it.

i'm not really sure why it felt like emmy bait to you? it felt very one note and wooden imo there's no way that'd be an emmy submission.....i mean i agree it didn't work for me either and i wish they delved into all the things you mentioned but i felt like the reason ted was so checked out emotionally is bc he knew he couldn't handle feeling anything because he was sad and didn't really want to leave and the second he acknowledged it he would break and the whole charade would be over (dottie really did a number on him)
