5 Year Anniversary - Thank You!

Today, February 4, 2019, marks not only Sceada’s 25th birthday, it is also the 5th anniversary of me creating this blog here, and beginning to roleplay as my little Burmecian.

5 years... that’s a long time. Time, during which much has happened. There have been so many adventures and meetings, have been so many encounters and situations I was allowed to write with you lovely people. There has been so much room for my character to grow, to learn, to form friendships and bonds, becoming a better man in the process. There has been so much development, so many ways in which he’s changed, so many people he connected to...

And I wouldn’t want to miss a single one of them.

Sure, there have been bad times too. Times where there wasn’t much happening, or where that which was happening ended up leaving a heavy burden upon us, where it affected us in more ways than we imagined, both positively and negatively, and there have even been tears we cried over it all. Be it because things did not work out as we hoped, be it because we felt the pain of our characters, or be it even because we lost friends. For after all, paths not only cross and align at times, they also separate again, with some never to meet ours again, no matter how sad a thought this may be.

But such is life, and rather than list off all the things that happened, all the stories and ideas that developed and bloomed in those five years, I’d like to do something else:

I want to thank everyone who walked this path together with me, no matter how briefly.

And so I have spent the last week going through my blog and a total of 4682 posts with the goal of listing up everyone that has ever interacted with Sceada and this blog here. Whether that be by simple starters or lengthy plays, by sending in asks or perhaps by drawing a lovely picture of him unprompted, everyone who ever interacted with me and Sceada here on this blog, I wish to thank you.

And so, even though many of you are no longer here, have moved on or perhaps even forgotten about this here all together, I would like to list you all up here, under the cut. All 217 of you that I managed to count.

Consider this a huge thank you for everything, my friends!            Happy five year anniversary everyone!

I normally do something like a follow forever post for my blog anniversary, but since it’s the 5th anniversary, I wanted to do something a little different. MThe audio may be a little loud, so please be aware of that.   I sound like a total nerd too and my accent may or may not have popped up. I get really pissed when I hear people "argue" for the existence of God and their evidence is a bible verse. This is exactly what happened yesterday as my christian dad debated my atheistic grandpa. My aunt, who teaches sunday school, runs in the room in the middle of the argument, bible in hand, and loudly says "THATS IT. I CAN SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL." then she opens her bible to a bookmarked page and says "JEREMIAH 32:27 - I AM THE LORD GOD OF ALL MANKIND." then she closes her bible with a triumphant look on her face and my grandpa looks her in the eye and says

"Who the fuck is Jeremiah?"

Both might forget. Omega may be in deep focus on trying to do things correctly, while Eden would be only interested in having intimate fun with Omega.

Eden would do this. Omega sometimes does odd things that both fascinate and confuse Eden and she post vines to see if others could help her decipher his behavior.

Probably Eden, since she tends to get a bit impatient with phones, especially newer cell phones with all the options and features.

Eden, since Omega is the human incarnate of a powerful, killer WEAPON, he may not die very easily.

Omega probably would. I can see him not being very used to certain foods yet.

Eden, she’d probably be fighting with something while muttering curses and Omega is just standing there waiting for her to finally give up so he can do the thing.

Again Eden, she’d probably want to get snuggly with Omega and since he’s not really one that is connected to emotions he’d be like “just let me sleep dang it”. 

who uses the computer most

Omega, once being a dangerous machine, I can see him knowing much more about technology and computers than Eden. Plus he’s much more patient with them than she is. 

☂ ~ Food Headcanon (for Hayner, but Demyx too if you like?)

Send ☂ for a FOOD headcanon.

{ ☠ } Hayner’s choice in food leans towards the typical teenage boy’s, if his constant eating of ice cream and junk food says anything. He does make an effort(or more so his parent’s effort) to make sure he eats healthy actual meal wise, and he prefers meats and fruits. He doesn’t mind some vegetables, but most he won’t go near unless prepared a certain way.

{ ♪ } Demyx also has an issue with junk food, but he’s less sloppy with it since he knows he still needs to be in shape considering his job(not that he has much to worry about given his naturally high metabolism and his swimmer’s body and dancer’s hips). He doesn’t have a lot of choice meal wise considering Xaldin is the one who cooks actual meals usually, but when he cooks for himself(which he’s surprisingly good at at least with what he chooses), it’s usual something involving sea food or chicken.

FFVII OC Appreciation

Sometimes it’s hard to be an OC. However, it’s important to know that canon characters were OCs at some point. It takes dedication and hard work to stick with Ocs and watch them grow and become better than before. I want to thank all the OC creators for continuing to do what they love and you each deserve the glory of it. 

I listed FFVII OCs that you should check out.   These include multi-muse blogs with FFVII OCs, OCs with FFVII AUs, semi - canon OCs (canon characters with not much backstory or information who are fleshed out by fanfics, fanart, and rps like BC Turks), and artists and writers who included OCs in their FFVII works. Many are active and some are remembered as some of the amazing creators.

I know most of them, but there’s some I haven’t met, but deserve the very best for their hard work. All of you are doing wonders with your OCs and you should be proud of it.

Four years ago, I started my blog for Harmony. I was first called The-Cyber-Soldier and Harmony was not as developed as she is today.  I’m shocked that I got this far. Four years, 658 followers, and the countless memories I have here.

I owe it to all of you. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t think I would have been here for this long. This blog and the people I met here helped me stay sane when everything in my life changed. Frequent moves, transfer from one school to another, and the chaos that follows kept me on the edge, but rp and my friends on Tumblr helped me find some stability.  You all helped me in becoming a better writer and even a better person. 

I apologize for my inactivity. I should have more free time to write with all of you after Tuesday when I finish my capstone.
