12. favorite character to write about this year

idk if you heard, but i fell forward into a ffxiv hole this year and really, really came to love that stupid fucking ethereally beautiful awkward duck urianger. he's been a wonderful challenge to delve into with all the fucking layers to his being as he tries so hard to always do the right thing, even when it hurts him or people he loves. i also apparently like torturing myself trying to write that bastard's dialogue in fucking sonnet form, which is above and beyond any character i've encountered in any media i've consumed before.

14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

i did not expect to write literally any fic i wrote that features thancred in a fucking ship role with my wol. goddammit. i'm still angry. i expect to still be angry in 2025. probably longer. yes, i know you warned me, no, i don't take any responsibility for disregarding that warning. i hate it and i hate your dumb fais (affectionate)
