Josephine Crawford Melville (12 April 1961[ – 20 October 2022[) a former Eastenders star, was a British actress, director and writer.

Career

After first appearing on TV in 1983 in Luna,[Essex-born Melville[4][5][6][7][8] portrayed Tessa Parker in eight episodes of EastEnders in 1986, and Ellie Wright in one episode in 2005.[7] She also had roles on TV in The Bill, Prime Suspect, Casualty[and Pie in the Sky, among others,[and in early 2022 she appeared in the music video for Ella Henderson's "Brave".

In feature films, she had roles in Empire State in 1987 and in the forthcoming Slammer. In 2021 she produced and directed Assistance, a short thriller.

Ella Henderson’s Father is Always There in the Background to Help and Advise His Daughter

Ella Henderson’s Father, Sean Henderson always wanted to see his daughter reach heights in the field of music industry. He lived his daughter’s dream and did everything he could to get it fulfilled. Being a doting father, he did not hesitate from knocking every other door within the music industry so that he could get his daughter noticed as an exceptional talent. He trusted Ella’s talent and persuaded her to make her way through audition for Simon Cowells TV Show X Factor.

This audition provided her the required platform and she became one of the tens of thousands of people who auditioned all over the UK. She got onto the live show to showcase her talent to the world on live TV every Saturday night with audience close to 10 million viewers.

Ella Henderson’s Father encouraged her to take a brave stance and she became the first artist to sing her song. Even though Sean realized that his daughter has got the desired recognition, he did not stop managing her career. He was aware of the massive reputation for burning out young artists who would become one hit wonders. With her amazing talent, Ella managed to win the hearts of judges. She was selected by one of the judges to join their team on the live shows.

Even at the peak of her career, she keeps in regular contact and Ella Henderson’s Dad is always there in the background to help and advise her.
