soo, I stumbled across some pictures that inspired me for this post. I'll write Sucheon and Gangseok, as always, but feel free to suggest your characters too (I'll do that type of thing for Lookism too).

"Happy Birthday!" - How will you hear it?

🍈Sucheon is an early bird and wakes up early in the morning, even on weekends. His alarm will go off and his calendar pops up: Y/N's birthday. He will get ready, knowing you're still asleep. While he's preparing everything he got you and calling a restaurant, he texts you casually.

🍈 "Good morning, dummy. You're getting older again this year. I'll come around at 8am, if you're still sleeping I'll spit in your face. <3 cya later."

🍈 Sucheon will get everything prepared and ask Suman to drive him to your place. Suman wants to greet you too, of course. He's very grateful for you, cheering his nephew on and making him feel valid for good things.

🍈 He rings at your doorbell when he arrived, holding flowers in his hands and being curious about your sleepy face. You rub your eyes as you open the door but the fierce face of Sucheon shakes you awake immediately. "Happy Birthday Y/N." He and Suman say synchronizing, it wasn't wanted but somehow happened. Now: your day filled with tiny dates with your boyfriend will start.

Flowers - What flowers will the they give you?

🍈 Sucheon brings them to you as a first act of kindness and as a gift. As this man is mysterious and dark, somewhere caring and loving, he got flowers that resemble himself. He's in your head whenever you look at the dark flowers and white roses.

🍈 Another surprise: Sucheon smells similar to the bouquet. The light but characteristic smell remind you of his room. He has a room freshener that smells like it and so does he, and everything else he owns.

Food - Cake? Fries? What will they feed you?

🍈 As mentioned, Sucheon called a restaurant beforehand. He made sure to give you a good experience and he wants to go out for lunch. The weather is expected to get rainy in the afternoon and Sucheon wants you two to be out in the sun.

🍈 Now you're wondering: what would he possibly arrange for you two? An expensive restaurant with the weirdest dishes? A fast food shop? He makes it a big secret. You hate when he makes secrets because he gives you no hints and is so stubborn about them. After you got ready he takes you out.

🍈 After a short ride you see a small Japanese restaurant. It looks really adorable. He opens the car door and lends you a hand. You shall look like a couple going in there. You see a table full of balloons in your eye color and small wrapped gifts laying on it. The waiter greets you smiling and leads you to the table.

🍈 "The starter dish will be there in a second." He smiles. You wait some minutes while cherry juice and tableware gets displayed. Sucheon smiles adorable. "I found this restaurant because I were looking for dishes at look like you." - "Is that an insult?", you laugh.

🍈 Turns out, it's not:

੭ﾞ* 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗲𝗼𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶

"Happy Birthday!" - How will you hear it?

🍈 Gangseok planned your birthday some weeks before. You tried to make it not a big deal, as it's just a day were you got pressed out of your mother's womb. Gangseok in the other side wants this day free for you and him. He's usually pretty busy and full free days are rare. But your birthday - he seduced everyone to make his day free.

🍈 He wakes up, leaving his phone next to him. Texting you sounds really cold to him. He showers and shortly after 9am he starts baking something for you. The other presents are already on his sofa table. Since you come around today, he wants to make sure everything is perfect.

🍈 You were told to come around 11am the day before and so you do. You come in cute clothes, marking your body and making you comfortable in your own skin. When he opens the door, he smiles shyly at you, with a light blush on his cheeks. "Happy Birthday, dear."

🍈 You'll be blessed with a tight hug. Gangseok gives you a big bear hug before inviting you into his apartment. Lovingly, he offers you to sit down at the sofa.

Flowers - What flowers will the they give you?

🍈 Gangseok is a minimalist but he sort of loves tulips. More than usual because he thinks you resemble a tulip, a beautiful tender flower. He got you a small bouquets of pink flowers, hoping it will be decently enough for you.

🍈 The flowers sit in the middle of the sofa table in a vase, shaped like a heart. You know he usually keeps the flowers his mom gets him in there. Gangseok his apartment keeps many secrets you can only know when you've been there. You are charmed when you see your flowers in that important vase. More importantly, his smile when you said you love them is priceless.

Food - Cake? Fries? What will they feed you?

🍈 Gangseok baked something for you and planned more food. He knows you like desserts and pastries. Baking is a hobby of his which no one ever expects. Gangseok seems to be a tough guy always working hard on his fighting skill - which is true. But on bad days he wants to relax and he does that with baking.

🍈 You get pastries for dates and other meetings. Even when you go out with friends he'll be there with some muffins for everyone. You love his hobby though - it makes him way more innocent and nice than people think.

🍈 The most adorable thing is, that on your birthday he took his talent to the top. Did you know he'd open a bakery if he wouldn't have an awakened power? Well, now you know. Gangseok is curious about your reactions to his experiment; let's put it that way tho: it's delicious and heaven.

🍈 Right after you sat down he come with three cake holders and places them on the sofa table. You know what the deal is but you never imagined he'd be this good at baking cake:

-꒰ 🗓: How Eleceed Boys Pass You Notes ꒱-

Includes: Jiwoo, Sucheon, Wooin, and Jisuk (can be interperted as platonic or romantic)

Note: This is inspired off of polluxminor's genshin post! Go ahead and check it out. Also if you think this is a repost, don’t worry! the account I originally posted this on was an side blog that I just recently scraped ^^ any new eleceed hcs will be posted on this account!

└➤Jiwoo

Look, we both know what he’ll pass notes about.

“The cats by the school are looking a bit thin lately, you think they stopped feeding them…?” “The cat store has food on sale tonight..” “Yesterday my cat…”

Against your will, you now know all of Jiwoo’s cats names, birth date, daily schedule, eating habits, and plethora of other tidbits.

Despite how cat-fixated he is, he’s not limited to conversations, and doesn’t mind talking about other miscellaneous things.

Writes his notes on sticky notes..for some reason, so when he passes the notes they tend to get caught on his hand. You figure out he has them on sticky notes so he can stick them on his notebook as a keepsake

Likes drawing simplistic little emojis next to his messages. Often draws smiley faces.

Tries his best to focus in class but honestly doesn’t care as much as he should and thinks connecting with friends is a bit more important

Unlike the others, tries to make an effort not to get caught, though.

Totally obvious when passing the notes but the teacher doesn’t care because ~favoritism~

└➤Wooin:

Basically Jiwoo but worse

Wants to only talk about cats, and nothing else

While Jiwoo is more willing to talk about other topics, Wooin is very clearly Not.

If you try to change the subject, you’ll be responded to with an, “Yea. Anyways the cat that I fed the other day…”

He’ll respond to an question or follow up on a topic that’s not related to cats or food, but that’s all you’re getting.

It’s strange, because in face-to-face conversation he’s usually so quiet and is willing to go with the flow of any topic.

But when he’s passing notes one on one, he seems to feel like he has more reign and space to talk and thus wants to talk about the thing that interests him the most: cats.

However, despite how stoic he may seem, his notes shows he far from it. He draws cute cats on the corner of each note. Admittedly, they’re not very good at first, and looked more akin to amoebas with whiskers. However, he starts getting better and pretty soon half of the note page is filled with pictures of decent-looking cartoons of cats.

He also likes to draw a dialogue bubble to his cat drawings so it looks like his cat will say it

Has this weird hybrid of cursive and standard printing that’s really really slanted. He says he got it from Dr. Delein.

Totally passes notes in the middle of class. Wooin honestly only half-listens to the lecture, anyways. His school bag is quite literally filled with cat food, how studious can he really be?

Folds the notes into squares every time

Also able to hide them and pass so discreetly? Like you don’t even know how he does it. One second he’s writing it, the next the note is on your desk.

└➤Jisuk:

Passes notes all. The time.

He used to text you during class but he got his phone taken away from Jiyoung once the school contacted her about it

Since he’s not the most..studious of people, Jisuk doesn’t ever pay attention in class, and thus dedicates most of that time to writing you notes. And when the teacher calls on him for not paying attention, he says he wasn’t paying attention with such unabashed self confidence there’s really no point in calling him out.

He’ll send an variety of different topics, from making fun of the teacher or you, or pleading for answers to the final project.

From, “I just ordered 500 boxes of cat food and it said it’ll arrive in a month?? WTF why is delivery so slow” to “Bro please give me the answers for the final assessment Jiyoung’s gonna seriously whip my ass if I fail this. I’m not joking. Why do you keep ignoring me???? Do you want to me die??? Is that it????” You never fail to collect interesting conversations with Jisuk

His handwriting is near illegible, and sometimes he writes so hastily it rips or crinkles the paper. He also manages to give himself so many papercuts, so there’ll also be blood splatters on the notes as well. Notes never come out in one piece once Jisuk gets his destructive little hands on it.

He’s an doodler, but he’s god-awful at it. He tried to draw an cat but ended up erasing and redrawing it so many times that the final product was indiscernible.

Usually folds his notes into poorly constructed lopsided paper airplanes that end up hitting some other poor unsuspecting student in the head with his horrible aim

He’s such a little shit. If you’re having an note argument and you end up getting the better of him, Jisuk will rat you out to the teacher that you’ve been passing notes, protesting that you need to get suspended or expelled for such disrespectful behavior in the classroom.

(He doesn’t realize he’s biting himself in the ass once the teacher figures out he’s the one you’ve been passing notes to)

Will be really happy if he figures out that you keep his notes but would sooner submit himself to the cold, clammy claws of Casein Nitrate before admitting that

└➤Sucheon:

Only passes notes when he’s incredibly bored or if he needs to talk to right at that moment for some reason

It’s usually the first reason, though

Usually an cynical or snarky comment like, “This class fucking sucks”, an insulting remark directed at someone from when he was observing the room in the midst of his boredom, “A crap ton of cat food fell from Wooin’s bag wtf. Is he obsessed with cats or something” or an insulting comment directed to you (ie: “Stop chewing your pencil so loud, it’s gross as hell”)

He won’t expect or want an response to that usually, but if you try hard enough he’ll humor you and steadily exchange notes with you

Don’t expect much life or words in his notes, though. He’s pretty expressive when talking face-to-face, but for some reason when he transcribes that to paper all the life is sapped out of him. He doesn’t even use exclamation or question marks, either. Yeah. He’s that dry.

The only giveaway of his emotions in his notes is how hard he presses his pencil on the paper. Jisuk made fun of his height once and the note Sucheon passed you was so harshly written in the paper it felt more like an engraving than a note.

Surprisingly really talented at folding and origami. He’ll send you the most intricately, flawlessly created origami notes, with perfect crisp creases and with no signs of refolding whatsoever. It’s ironic, really, with how fancy and detailed the note is folded and the note itself is just two words tops.

No matter how tempting it is, don’t keep the origami he makes for you. He gets embarrassed when you do and he’ll more likely than not get pissed off at you.

Throws his notes carelessly, but gets pissed when it accidentally lands in someone else’s direction and they try to read it

Has surprisingly good aim, though, when he tries to make an effort to make it land near you.

Small-talk or banter rarely ever happens on his watch, except for a few exceptions.

One is if you’re taking a test or exam and clearly struggling. Sucheon, having already finished the test since he’s admittedly extremely intelligent and never gets anything under an 95, will toss you a note. You would hope it’s answers, but instead it’s, “Have fun trying to not fail the test.”

Another is if you mess up an answer when the teacher calls on you, shortly after you’ll feel an crumpled up note hit the back of your head. When you unfold it, it’s empty except for one word written in Sucheon’s scrawled slanted handwriting, ‘Dumbass.’

When you whip around the little shit will be cackling to himself in the back of the room
