Some more content from the last session of my homebrewy Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign.

This time, the party had to rescue PC Noone from the depths of her own mind after being strung together in The Black Spider’s web and placed under a sleeping spell. The web interconnects their slumbering minds where the Spider is playing some pretty wicked tricks on them- hoping to lure them into false, dreamlike versions of their memories where nothing bad ever happened while she searches their minds for information relevant to finding the Forge in the Lost Mines of Phandelver.

To escape, Noone had to be reminded of what really happened in her past confront it head on with help from her party.

Ector got separated from his party in the nine hells and is having a bad time.

Luckily a FRIEND from his past has found him! :)

Final battle images for the finale of the first campaign I ever ran as a DM!! (It was a homebrewy version of Lost Mine of Phandelver!) I learned so much and had so much fun- can't wait to start my next game at the end of the month!!! :D

Also featured is the creator of Ector's favorite doujin "Tentacle Dan"- Phyllip Le Dew based on Lorlo's TikTok persona, Sensei La Dew. Who I love.

My pal @desdemonia made a "What Would Your DND Character Look Like at Level 20" meme and I had to do it with some of my babies (and my wife's baby, Hernando!) Ector discovers his own magic and defeats his patron before he marries Hernando, who returns home to the kingdom of Durvshava after running away to finally ascend his throne. Pyrus becomes Hernando's royal captain of the guard but rises from death as a revenant to continue to protect the royal heirs. Gibbon finds a way to live forever (oh no) by getting back together with his vampire ex boyfriend.

Some doodles of what Ector's patron Arteus was like before he fell from Celestia to become an Arch Devil and how he gradually reveals his true form to Ector over the campaigns Ector is in. As Ector's confidence grows, Arteus' disguise becomes less effective in fooling him. And some Pyrus doodles <3

Yesterday was Ector’s Black Spider spell-induced dreamland session of my homebrewy Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign! The party had to rescue Ector from the depths of his own mind after being strung together in The Black Spider’s web and placed under a sleeping spell. The web interconnects their slumbering minds where the Spider is playing some pretty wicked tricks on them- hoping to lure them into false, dreamlike versions of their memories where nothing bad ever happened while she searches their minds for information relevant to finding the Forge in the Lost Mines of Phandelver. The party had to wake Ector from pleasant illusions of having gone to a university where he had lots of friends, was a magical prodigy, and a favored pupil of the benevolent celestial, Hesdmaster Arteus Nocniste (his fiend patron outside of the dream.) Waking from the Spider’s dream trap meant Ector had to recall his origins as an urchin in Luskan who was saved from execution as a thief by an “angel” who just needed him to sign a little contract afterwards- one assuring Ector a better life and continued protection. The party is now fully awake from the Spider’s sleeping spell and our next session will be our final showdown!!!

Emo in-game parallels between two of my DND characters where being enticed to their wildest dreams through psychic magic involved Pyrus once again being engaged to his late partner, Arlok, and Ector's engagement to his evil patron being called off.

Waking up was painful for both of them. ;-;

Decided to run a last-minute yule one shot for my wife with two of our DND couples, Ector x Hernando and Ivy x Pyrus. They're gonna help out some solars with some do-goodin'. <333

Within the last few sessions of the very first DND campaign I ever ran, the gang is going to be facing off against my homebrew take on the Black Spider. She’s got them caught in her web, where they currently sleep, dreaming of the most ideal version of their lives- where nothing bad ever happened. ✨ The party will have to work together to wake one another up by confronting the truths of their past, what really happened, and face the pain together, so that they can wake up and put the Spider’s evil to rest, saving Phandelver. 🕷️🕸️ I decided to design costumes for the party based on everyone’s past/ home and it was super fun! (First to last: Hernando’s kingdom of Durvshava, Noone’s town of Wrathstand, Pyrus’ home of Toxiros, Ector’s town of Luskan, and Arteus’ demiplane.)

My friend @wendydoodles has a half-elf named Zane who has a Solar patron named Emrys and I like to imagine that he and Arteus, Ector’s Archdevil patron, get into arguments with one another by possessing the boys. Just warlock things.

I decided Ector’s art looks like crazy medieval artwork because he was super sheltered growing up and mostly knows what things look like based on what his evil mom or the few books he owned taught him. During our Candlekeep campaign, Nando wants to write his own comic book about a “totally original character in no way inspired by Ector’s arch devil patron” named Zarteus and asks Ector to be his artist.

It hasn’t happened yet in-game, but I can’t wait for Arteus to find out about it.

A very silly rival Idol x Bodyguard x Manager AU my fiance and I have running with our DND characters. 

“...Ector? Isn’t that your patron?”  “Arteus?” “Who’s that other guy...? Wait. Why does he look like...” “Me. He looks like me.”

See? He gets better. Just has a little bit of an emo phase.  There are few more in between I wanna polish eventually. Ector’s in a lot of campaigns! The last one is his sort of happy ending/ endgame look. Until the campaign my fiance and I wanna play where he and Hernando are in their 50s, 60s having old man adventures as a married couple.
