Part 2 of the Epilogue
Text under the more:
Laying close to him on folded towels and an old blanket, wearing his borrowed jumper, on a backroad of his town under his stars, I am acutely aware I have been surrounded on all sides. Were this a match, I would be losing. He has home advantage.
(The bitch of it is he always has home advantage. Everywhere he goes is home.)
(And I will be honest.I stopped fighting the play a long time ago)

I'm thinking about Bryce Dallas Howard in Argylle. And how the whole movie, I kept thinking, "she looks like me." Elly Conway/Rachel Kylle is midsize. I'm midsize. I kept being struck by seeing a character who looked like me on screen, and god, if I was so surprised by it, I can't imagine what it's like to be fat and never see positive fat representation. Even just neutral fat representation. Elly's body is never discussed in the film (in contrast to a movie like Love Actually, for example, where Natalie's body is a constant topic of conversation for the other characters, to the point that they treat it as her defining trait). How many characters are out there, especially female characters, who get to be fat and not have it be the focus of their story?
The only one I can think of that comes close is Dumplin. And even in that movie, her weight isn't the primary conflict (it's not a weight loss story or anything like that), but her insecurity about it is still a source of tension that causes conflict between her and several other characters (Ellie, her mother, Bo).
I don't really know where I'm going with this. I like to think the body positivity and body neutrality movements have made a lot of progress since the heroin-chic days of the 90s and early 00s. But if it's still notable to me to see a midsize character in a major motion picture, maybe we haven't come as far as we think.

Collecting Fat Taxes
The entertainment industry owes me a Fat Tax. And the overdue balance is astronomical.
The following is what I'm owed per every offense. This is for main, side, and background characters, etc.
Every time a fat character is slovenly and food obsessed: 3 movies
The fat person is the bully, not because they're fat, but it's definitely because they're fat: 14 per
A fat character appears only to be compared to our assumed to be skinny character now fat: 30 per
Fat character used to be skinny, old love interests no longer interested: 12 per
Any fucking movie like The Whale (2022): 16 per
A fat person is minding their business and is brought into the story because a character is making fun of them: 6 per
Fat person has self love but has to prove it to others. 2 per (ex. Willowdean in Dumplin)
Movie could be cute romance/romcom but instead focuses on self-love: 7 per

Fat person is married and miserable or being cheated on (with skinny person) with because fat: 50 per
Skinny actress has round face, so they are constantly cast to play fat (ex. Amy Schumer, Mae Whitman, Rene Zellwegger, teen Ani Luckiest Girl Alive (2023): 165 per
Bachelorette (2012): 10K per
Anything from the early aughts in which a skinny round faced and size 8 woman is lamenting about being fat and is treated like she is 900 pounds (Bridget Jones, Tyra Banks): 90 per, in addition to all the profits Slim Fast made during that period
Tumblr media
The Fat people episodes of procedurals (Bones and CSI): 28 per
Fat character is stalker because no one could possibly love them normally: 45 per
Fat character fucks, but is relationship averse (see any show 2019 onward): 1 per
This is the industries new way of saying sorry for the fat jokes that we're still going to continue doing.
Tumblr media
Fat Amy getting Bumper only for his spin-off show love interest to be different and skinny: 39 per
Tumblr media
News reports B-roll, for an obesity segment, of fat people walking down the street: 52 per
True story, real person fat, adaptation, actor skinny: 8 per
"Her over me?": 72 per
Fat persons weight being mentioned even though it has no effect on the story: 600 per
A fat body used for shock value: 49 per
Movie stars a fat person, and the plot is about them being outcasts because they're fat: 5 per
Fat characters have to learn to themselves: 10 per
Show is about bullying= bad, unless person is fat (All of Us are Dead 2022); 20 per
Character likes Fat women but never dates/fucks/oogles/looks at one outside of the episode where they are outed as being a chubby chaser (ex. Malik Wright, The Game (2006-2015 + Spin-off) Danny Wheeler, Baby Daddy (2012-2017): 22 per
A fat person makes fun of another fat person for being fat because they aren't fat like them: 20 per
Skinny person Friendzones fat person, not because they're fat, [sotto voce] it's because they're fat: 11 per
Fat actress' career dies because they are fat and therefore are not for any sorry that does not involve their weight: 82 per
A skinny person in a fat suit: 8 per
A character finds love with another fat person because they, too, are fat: 2 per (looking at you, The Sleepover (2004)
A skinny person learns a lesson through a fat person: 6 per
Character was fat in the book, skinny in the movie: 3 per
Super hot or ugly snake dates fat person to get closer to someone else or to steal or to something: 6 per
Super traditionally hot person likes fat person, everyone, including fat person, skeptical and/or suprised: 13 per
Fat character is an idiot, not because they're fat, but it's definitely because they're fat: 15 per
Fat character finds self-love through bump on the head: 2 per
Fat person loses weight, makes them hot, and an asshole: 6 per
Whatever the hell Sam Levinson thought he was doing with Kat on Euphoria: 550 per
I want 1,000 movies and shows for every article ever written about a fat person's body and how they had the audacity to be nude, even you fuck-ass feminist publications who write condescending articles about how brave it is. (Ex. Any article written about Hannah on GIRLS)
Feel free to comment with your Fat Tax and how much is owed per offense. I'm sure I've missed some

The Run
Tumblr media
Rating: EXPLICIT 18+ MDNI
Pairing: Frankie Morales x Santi García x f reader
Word count: 1.7k
Summary: quick lil threesome with your hot roomies.
Warnings: PIV, oral (f receiving), fucklicking, creampies, FWBs, men kissing, reader can run,
A word from the author: another repost! I wrote this for my little dumplin @legendary-pink-dot a long time ago. I love you, my little honey bunch.
Fresh and dressed, you went to say goodnight, but Frankie beckoned you to join them. It was a movie you’d been wanting to see, and Santi was already rewinding to the beginning. It didn’t take much for them to convince you, so you squeezed between them in the middle seat, the only seat left. You watched in silence for a few minutes, and were already engrossed. It was no wonder you missed the look that passed between the two men.
You barely noticed as they shifted slightly, after all, you were in the middle and they were both big, broad men. You were good friends, and generous with physical affection. Frankie moved first, sinking lower in the cushion and spreading his knees wide. He pulled your leg over his and rubbed your knee. He’s done it plenty of times before. Santiago adjusted his position, turning his body towards yours and draping one arm behind you along the back of the couch, leaning close to point out a small detail about the scene that was on. His voice was low and his lips brushed your ear when he spoke, you felt his eyes on you, searching your face for a sign that you might be on to him. You were comfortably oblivious, wrapped up in the plot and the sensation of Frankie’s big hands smoothing their way just a tiny bit further up your thigh than was strictly necessary.
During a lull in dialogue, Santi leaned in again, this time placing a heavy hand on the thigh closest to him, giving it a squeeze that made you suddenly, acutely aware of your position, how snugly situated you were between Frankie and Santi, how neither of them were watching the movie, how their hands worked in tandem, easing you into a state of relaxed arousal before you even realized it.
Santiago’s words in your ear became his lips on your neck, and Frankie’s hand on your hip, rubbing tender circles into the newly exposed skin there while he eased your leg further into his lap and against his now turgid member. In a matter of moments the movie was forgotten and there were six hands rubbing, groping, squeezing and tugging at fabric until all three of you were naked and you were spread across Santi’s lap, knees hooked over his, while Frankie was on his knees between your legs doing what Frankie does best.
“Tell me how she tastes, Fish,” Pope sounded a bit jealous. Frankie was generous, though and after a few moments, Frankie leaned up to give Santi a taste, pressing his plump lumps to his best friend’s waiting mouth. Santi’s cock grew even harder behind you and he couldn’t wait any longer.
“Please, querida, can I fuck you now?”
“Yes, Santi, please. Need you.”
You were already so close to your climax under Frankie’s expert tongue. He had looped a circuit from your entrance to your clit, through your folds and back again, using the kind of practiced precision that could have had you trembling in minutes flat if he had wanted it.
Frankie licked a broad stripe up your slit before stopping to help guide Santiago’s thick head into your needy pussy, rubbing your clit with his thumb and showering you and his friend with praise as he watched from just inches away.
“Taking his cock so good, sweetheart. That’s it. You’re so wet, look at you dripping for us. Your pussy was made for us, wasn’t it?”
Santi’s hands were on your hips, holding you carefully so he could work his thick length into you slowly. You had one hand tangled in Santiago’s thick curls, and one on his muscular thigh, digging your nails in just enough to leave faint crescent moons, a souvenir for tomorrow.
“Fuck, you look so good.” Frankie resumed his lascivious pattern, with the added effect of the vibration he made as he moaned into your pussy and a wet tongue over the base of his best friend's cock right where he entered you.
Santi squeezed his eyes shut, dropping his head back against the cushions, overwhelmed with the tight squeeze of your cunt and the velvet of Frankie’s tongue. He breathed deeply, trying to relax and not come too soon, a fucking monumental task.
He palmed your tits, with one hand now, and set a steady rhythm with his thrusts, determined to feel you come first.
You were in a state of bliss, all of your nerve endings firing at once, unable to form coherent sentences or even thoughts. You heard yourself moaning their names, but it was more of a reflex than a choice as you barreled toward your climax. Both men noticed how close you were and while Santi drove as deep into you as he could, he rasped encouragement and flattery into your neck.
“That's it, feel your pussy squeezing me so tight, so good for us, come on my cock. Let me feel it, please. I gotta feel you coming for me.” He called to Frankie, “Francisco, she’s close. Finish her. Make her come, Frankie.” He sounded wrecked. He pleaded for your release as if it was his own.
Frankie was achingly hard, having denied his own pleasure to give you and Pope yours. He doubled his efforts, now, sucking your clit between his lips and swirling his tongue around the swollen bud, humming against it, sending the vibration straight through you.
It was a tidal wave. Your orgasm spread out from your core and reverberated through your whole body. Santi wasn’t far behind, spilling into you, with a shout. Frankie watched, mesmerized and wracked with lust. He gave you and Santi a moment to float back down from your orgasms, then joined you on the couch, kissing you deeply, letting you taste yourself on his lips and mustache. It was so erotic to have them both like this, feeling them, hearing them, seeing them, even smelling them right now was enough to give you a second wind.
You realized suddenly how painfully hard Frankie must be, and you reached to gently stroke his gigantic cock. He really did have a beautiful cock.
“Frankie, let me take care of you.”
You were tender with him, he loved when you took control, letting him shut off the part of his brain that made decisions. While you moved to straddle Frankie, Santi went after towels and water. He returned a few moments later, unable to keep his hands off of either of you. He kneeled next to his friend and murmured to you in Spanish that only Frankie understood, earning him hungry looks.
He kissed your neck, stroked your back, and gently urged you to take Frankie’s cock. “Look how he needs to feel you. Let him feel how tight you are. You can take him. Let him make you feel good.” His voice was a potion. You leaned into Frankie’s wet kiss, feeling and tasting yourself on the soft bristle of his mustache while his wide hands were busy lifting and squeezing your breasts, wordlessly expressing his desperate need for relief.
You lifted your hips enough for Santi to reach between your legs. He squeezed your thigh, kissing your shoulder with reverence and affection before grasping Frankie’s generous cock, giving it two delicate strokes before lining him up at your entrance. It was a group effort to work your cum soaked channel slowly down until he was fully seated inside you. You’d never felt filled so completely.
Santiago was well endowed, but Frankie exceeded him in length and girth just enough to make you feel full in ways you’d never felt before. It was glorious. Frankie’s lips fell open in a silent cry, doing all he could to resist fucking up into you, chasing his release, seeing you above him, feeling you all around him, looking into his best friend’s eyes as he spoke to him sweetly in their shared language, he wanted to move
“Cariño, please. Please, you've got to move. Please.” You didn’t expect him to be begging so soon. You set a slow pace, bouncing just a little on his cock, as if in slow motion. Frankie exhaled hard through his nose and you moved a little faster, slid further up his shaft with every lift. He furrowed his brow in concentration, and you moved faster, moaned louder, called his name
“Frankie! Oh, fuck, Frankie. So big, baby.”
You rolled your hips hard against the coarse hair above his cock, building yourself back up again just so Frankie could tip you over the edge once more. You pushed each other toward your orgasms, focusing on each other’s pleasure. You needed him to come inside you, and nothing made Frankie come like seeing you flushed and panting on his cock. He was close, he pulled you against his chest, holding you tight in his strong arms, groaning into your tits, finding your stiff nipple to suck and roll between his lips, letting one hand slide down your ass to press you down harder. That’s all it took. The wave crashed against you once more, making your hips jerk, setting off a chain reaction that sent Frankie over the edge of his own orgasm.
“Fuck. Ohh fuck…”
He thrust up as far as he could and filled you with his thick white release, commingling it with Santi’s spend, a feeling you never expected to feel, let alone treasure like this.
In the quiet moments following the threesome that you had not expected on a Tuesday night, the three of you settled back into companionable chatter, passing water bottles and snuggling happily on the couch like you hadn’t just acted out a pornographic scene. Showers were taken (and re-taken) and goodnight hugs and kisses given. Santi, Frankie, and you all retired to your own rooms, but before sleep could envelop you, you heard your door creak and felt your mattress dip behind you.
“Scoot over, cariño. I want to sleep with you tonight.”
You gave him one last sleepy kiss. “Goodnight, Frankie.”

I think I would genuinely cry if ted hugged/cuddled me, cause I’m so touch-starved
Same, friend. The way I need a big old cuddle right now is unreal. Just a cuddle and a back rub and like, a quiet, low-volume movie in a dark room. That's what I want. Anyone else? Yeah. We all do. Let's gooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warnings: None, all cuddle
---
It's the way Ted feels when he's curled up next to you or behind you.
His warm body. You can sometimes feel his heart beating against your ear or your back.
It's the way he smells -- that woodsy body wash and cologne combo that's not too strong but smells like a man. Not a boy at a club - not Axe body spray that makes you gag. No, a man.
His hands are big and warm. His fingers are fairly slender yet thick at the same time. When he drags them down your arm, or down your back, you feel instant release of tension.
You feel his hands travel up over your hip and waist, over your arm and shoulder, across your back, to your neck. He touches you like he'd touch art.
When you curl into Ted, into his chest, you can help nuzzling into the tuft of chest hair that peeks out from the neck of his undershirt. Or, in lieu of that, just burying yourself in that thatch of dark, course hair in general. It smells like the rest of him.
When the room is dark and it's just the TV and the rain pattering against the window, you really feel like you're in your own little world.
"You wanna watch somethin' else, dumplin'," Ted will ask, making sure to flip the channel to something you like. Your opinion matters most to him.
You nod and hum. "Whatever you want," is your usual answer, and he smiles. He always finds some old comedy movie on that delights him.
"Oh, You've Got Mail is on," he says, his hand gripping you closer. "Not as good at Sleepless in Seattle but still good."
You grin and chuckle, the vibration of his husky voice in your ear and against your skin. You love his little takes on things.
"Why do you like Seattle better?" you ask drowsily, his hand still drifting up and down your back while you burrow against his neck and run your fingers down his chest.
"Because it's such a great story for folks who love radio. I mean, a radio host answers a caller, and a little boy wants to find his dad love?" Ted says, sighing with a smile. "Plus, that little guy always reminded me of Henry."
You look at him and smile, kissing his lips. "Hen is a sweet kid, Ted. You raised him so well."
Ted squeezes you a little tighter.
"I appreciate that darlin'. Henry sure likes you, too," Ted says, his voice getting drowsy as the movie hums on.
"I think Hen would've picked you off a radio if he had the chance."
---
I am having a not-so-great week and the thought of just snuggling up with Ted for a cozy evening is so...comforting. The way I'd move into those blankets and arms and never allow eviction. Mmm! Thanks for the prompt, friend. Hope this was comforting!

My new obsession is The Tourist on Netflix and I'm sad to see the Fandom on here for it isn't very big (yet🤞). I've been on a hunt the last two or more years for books with plus sized main characters, but have had a hard time finding any that are realistic or don't involve magical shape-shifters or mob bosses. They're good enough to scratch the itch, but just don't feel real or relatable enough. (Please, if anyone has recommendations, feel free to share.)
The Tourist though, is pretty great. I love Danielle Macdonald in Dumplin', but what I like even more about this one is that while her struggle with her own weight and self-image is a part of her character and her story, it's a pretty small part overall. Most movies or books I've seen with plus-sized main characters make the entire storyline surrounding their weight and self-esteem issues. This has action, mystery, comedy, romance, all of it. It's a storyline with two people who go through a bunch of shit together and it draws them closer together, and it could be any two people in the world, but it just so happens to be a very conventionally attractive man and an unconventionally (by Hollywood standards) attractive, plus-sized woman who looks unlike anyone else ever put into a role like this one.
Reminds me a bit of Melissa McCarthy in Spy or Rebel Wilson in Isn't it Romantic, where the plus-sized woman has hunky, hot men as love interests with little-to-no question or fanfare. Just men and women who like each other, which I think is nice, just like in any other story. It's not just looks either, Helen(fmc) is also a very quirky, awkward, compassionate character too. But for once, it's not just a comedy and it's a running show, not just a one-time movie.
Idk, there's a lot I like about it and it gives me some hope for the future. Maybe post-strikes we'll see more diverse representation, specifically in romance.
Maybe if you've made it this far you'll consider giving it a chance🤞😆🤞 I need people to talk to about it.

✨rating pedro pascal characters based on nothing but costuming (non-exhaustive)✨
considerations:
*real housewives voice* thats my OPINION!!! also subject to change upon reflection, just going off my current feelings.
not really discussing whether the costuming is good or bad for character, context, or source material but just how much I like them if that makes sense.
some of these costume designers knocked it out of the park but would I be a little grumpy if I went on a date and they showed up in a walmart denim button up and ripped their $300+ jacket to shreds? Yes. Was that costume absolutely perfect for Joel? Yes again.
Mostly discussing costuming in context modern/21st century settings. The Mandalorian+GOT+ etc. in part two?
Minimal discussion on hair+cosmetics, only really when it applies to the whole look
Javier Gutierrez: The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Rating: 10/10
Crew:
Paco Delgado: Costume Designer see also: John Wick: Chapter 4, Death on the Nile, Jungle Cruise, Cats (2019), Split, Les Misérables 2012 (and many more he’s booked and busy)
full cast and crew
Comments:
They did not have to go so crazy on these outfits!!!
Why does one of my favorite looks apparently not even appear in the movie!?
every look is so *chefs kiss*
I feel like mustard yellow is such a good color on him.
Like call up those people on tik tok who make nonsensical categories like “strong winter” “ambivalent fall” and find out why mustard yellow always works.
The palette is a cute mix of like warm bricky colors like red, brown, mustard yellow mixed with baby blue and eggshell white. its actually perfect.
What really makes him stand out is the fact he accessorizes.
Lots of men don't accessorize because they don’t think its important - they couldn’t be more wrong.
It’s one of the many injustices of the world that a man’s outfit looks 10x better by adding one necklace or in this case- pinky ring.
Do I like the sunglasses? No. But I like that they are there.
Obligatory hair mention: The hair looks great. With longer hair becomes more responsibility, ie sometimes the part is a little too deep making the front pieces have a combover look. This is only when its messy though so that may have been the point?
If I included every outfit I liked it would just be a slideshow of the whole movie so I picked my favorites
Tumblr media
Javier Peña: Narcos
Rating: 10/10
Crew:
Bina Daigler: Costume Designer (season 1) see also: Dumplin’, Tár, Mulan (2020), 1899
María Estela Fernánde: Costume Designer (season 2-3) see also: Narcos: Mexico, Queen of the South, Hell (El Infierno)

Comments:
Can you tell I like 70s inspos?
Its unique but true to someone who grew up in RGV and now on his own
ie good luck getting him out of boots. you can’t do it
When he dresses up in s1+2, damn i love a tan suit!
Its very formulaic, but not to the extent that it looks like he bought 7 colors of the exact same shirt. He’s pretty much always wearing a short sleeve button up and fitted jeans. which makes the times he isn’t stand out
ie the tan suit. what can i say i am an american who is up to date on politics i always defend a tan suit when i see one
also occasionally breaks out this like tan vest situation?
I think it’s a good balance between like clearly not being inspired by like their “current day” but not so 70s that it would be odd. It’s kinda timeless.
He tends to follow one of my outfits rules: max 3 colors
Rules are meant to be broken obvi
But I do feel like as a general rule of thumb and since he doesn’t wear a ton of patterns, wearing more than three colors starts to make an outfit look random and not put together
For Javi, this usually means
color 1: *shirt color*
color 2: pants (pretty much just blue or black, he does throw in some brown pants)
color 3: brown (pretty exclusively wears brown belts/shoes)
Short note on hair/grooming: I love how season 1 has some more length in the back and generally has a shaggy sort of look? By season 3 his hair is more cropped probably bc of his new role.
Something about the extra length in the back makes him look young- not in the sense of like actual age but maybe looking more hopeful or green, even when dressed up
Also every so often you can see when they mess up the stick on sideburns. It tickles me.
He’s a menace to society. And he knows it
Tumblr media
Pietro Alvarez: If Beale Street Could Talk
Rating:  8/10
Crew:
Caroline Eselin (Caroline Eselin-Schaefer): Costume Designer see also: Moonlight (2016), Father of the Bride, Troop Zero, The Underground Railroad
full cast and crew
Comments:
We don’t see much and what we see! Is so good
This deep deep red is very nice and I like that is a monochromatic look (I don’t think we see his pants in the movie but collecting pics for this I saw the pants are the same color)
It also has my favorite type of collar- that extra pointy extra long collar.
And he *drum rolls* accessorized! Its only a necklace but the choice to have it OVER the shirt, over an already perfectly monochrome outfit makes it pop
The things that bring it a little down for me is, well, there is only one scene to work with so it feels wrong to rank higher than projects with multiple outfits, and the grooming
The mustache didn’t have to be so thin.
Hair wise I don’t understand why we always have to exaggerate the side burns to achieve the “deep sideburn” look.
I feel like we could still make the hair look “of the time” by taking some of the weight from the sides and leaving it up top and working with his natural side burns (even if that means making them darker, just not necessarily longer)
Even though I get the hair of the time was very um... spherical
side note: everyone in this movie is dressed spectacularly. I am appreciating through the tears in my eyes
Tumblr media
Jack Daniels: Kingsman: Golden Circle
Rating: 7/10
Crew:
Arianne Phillips: Costume Designer See Also: Don’t Worry Darling, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Nocturnal Animals, Kingsman: The Secret Service
Full cast and crew
Comments:
Have I watched in full? Maybe a few years ago? I remember the first one quite clearly bc the water filling up the bedroom scene YIKES!
The snowsuit is so good. It’s functional, it’s sassy. It has one of my favorite western top details I don’t know the name of but the little patch details on the front of the shoulders.
Who’s idea was it for the belt buckle to be a FLASK!!! thats gold
I love a color SCHEME!!!
brown leather deserves love
The rain boots- a practical choice in the middle of like the least practical movie ever? Leave him in cowboy boots you cowards
Like oh the grounds might get muddy he needs rain boots. His belt buckle was a flask guys be real

Marcus Pike: The Mentalist

Have I watched in full? No. I caught a few episodes it was when it was airing but I don’t think i could tell you a single plot line
(there is a LOT of FBI Department of Pseudo Psychology shows ok)
I do remember in one of his early eps they use the murder house from Nightcrawlers.
*Abby Lee voice* you didn’t stick out to me
Very government employee of you to wear ill fitting suits
Not to be irrational but v-neck t shirts don’t rub me the right way.
This is a completely personal ick that I don’t expect anyone else to agree with.
I just ~~ just do a crew neck you know?
Maybe WHY I don’t like it is because its very 2010-2014.
Which, in Marcus’ defense, just makes v-neck t-shirts something of the time
Does nothing crazy with his suits, but nothing that makes me cover my eyes either

Joel we get it you are nOT like other girls
It makes sense for who he is.
And who he is is someone who is not thinking about how much cunt he is going to serve with his outfit that day.
unFORTUNATELY.
His pants ARE suspiciously fitted. Not so utilitarian when it comes to pants are you Joel?
But! I love the big coat. Could live in the big coat. The big coat deserves an award
The best part of the big coat is the main defense against the simplicity of Joel’s outfits are “oh it’s the apocalypse” or “oh he’s not thinking about that”
Really? bc this is a SHEARLING lined coat. Do you know how quickly those fluffy shearling/sherpa etc. liners start to look like shit? if its a real shearling lining (the one he uses is real) you need to avoid getting it wet and store in dry areas.
I am not even talking about price here! Because I have already explained why I think its not that weird to have people wearing expensive clothes 20 years into the apocalypse.
Its the utility of having a shearling lined coat when you don’t have a closet full of DampRids
No way he had it in Boston since they only travel with regular sized backpacks. He saw it, liked it, wanted it, got it.
He got that coat for the cunt of it all, you can’t convince me otherwise.

Thank you so much for coming on this ride with me it was a fun exercise to look at just the clothes and not my feelings toward the character/movie/show.
Who should I do next time? I have plenty of more thoughts hehe

how to get into reading more? I find it very it hard to get into reading and whenever I try to read books I could never get past chapter one.
Tips for Getting Into Reading More
Reading is a habit, just like exercising or brushing your teeth. The more consistently you do it, the easier it is to do. Reading is also a skill, meaning that doing it consistently makes you better at it. Whether that's reading a print book and training your eyes and brain to read better and faster, or reading an audiobook and training your ears and brain to listen and comprehend better. Try reading a book or audiobook every day for at least ten minutes, and after a while you'll find it's a habit and you're craving more.
Here are some other things you can do during that initial few weeks to help yourself along...
1 - Read Fan-Fiction - Go to AO3 or FF.net and look for fan-fiction of your favorite shows, movies, books, games, etc. AO3 also has podfic available to listen to. Fan-fiction is a fun and easy way to get back into a reading habit since it's easy access (your brain is already familiar with the world and you already love it) and it's free.
2 - Read Short Stories - Short stories are a great way to build a reading habit. You can find free short stories online via a Google search. Wattpad has a short story section and many libraries also offer them in their online catalogs. Or, you can by short story collections by author or anthology. You can also find audiobooks of short stories and recordings.
3 - Read Graphic Novels or Comic Books - Graphic novels and comic books can be another great way to get back into reading. The visual component can help draw you into the story, but the text makes sure you're honing your reading skills. Many graphic novels have audiobook adaptations.
4 - Read Bite-Sized Serial Fiction - Sites like Kindle Vella and Radish offer "bite-sized" serialized fiction which allows you to get absorbed in a story a little at a time. Bite-sized and serialized fiction works great if you're trying to build a reading habit by reading for 10 to 20 minutes a day. You can also find serialized audiobooks.
5 - Read Books That Were Adapted Into Movies or Shows - If you watch TV and movies, there are probably several that were adapted from books. YA books that were adapted into movies and shows (Twilight, Love Simon, The Vampire Diaries, The Hunger Games, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, The Sun is Also a Star, The Hate U Give, Dumplin', and The Princess Diaries--just to name a few) are especially good for getting back into reading because the content and story presentation is accessible and the lengths are usually manageable. But really, any TV show or movie you loved that was based on a book would be a great place to start. Most books that were popular enough to be adapted into a show or movie will also have an audiobook.
5 - Try Audiobooks - If you don't read audiobooks already, they can be a great way to get back into reading. Even if you're not training your eyes to read print, you're still training your brain to engage with a story which is just as important. If you're able to read print books, you might even try reading book one of a series on audiobook, then switch to reading the print version of book two.
6 - Reread Old Favorites - If there are any books you've read before and loved, try reading them again. Sometimes, revisiting old favorites can help us get back into reading because we already know we love the story, and familiar stories can be more accessible to our eyes and brains. Many older books and even classics have audiobook versions.
7 - Read Children's Fiction - Picture books, chapter books, Middle Grade, and YA books can be a great way to get back into the habit of reading. You might even try rebuilding your reading habit/skills from the ground up, starting with picture books, moving onto chapter books, then heading into Middle Grade and finally YA. Children's fiction tends to range from shortest to longest, with picture books being the shortest and YA fiction being the longest, but YA fiction still tends to be shorter than most adult fiction. Children's fiction is also written to be accessible to younger age ranges, which doesn't mean it's not complex or can't be enjoyed by adults, but many readers to find most Middle Grade and YA books to be easier to read than say A Game of Thrones or Outlander. Everyone is different, though, and every book is different. So it really just depends on the book and the reader.
8 - Try Reading Out Loud - If you're able to read print books/stories, some people find it's easier to read out loud. You can even read to your pet, pretend you're reading to a class, or pretend you're the author doing a reading at a book signing. It sounds silly, but sometimes this performative aspect can make it a little more accessible and easier to do.
9 - Audiobook Alternative to #8 - Something similar you can do with an audiobook is listen to a few minutes, pause it, and then talk out loud about what just happened as though you were discussing it with a class or book club. This can help you get (and stay) engaged with the story.
10 - Keep It Fun and Stress Free - The most important thing of all is to keep it fun and stress free. Try not to give yourself a hard time if you drop the ball. Do your best and give yourself grace if you struggle. Putting pressure on yourself or creating unreasonable goals only makes it stressful which makes your brain want to avoid it. Set up or find a cozy reading space if you can. Put on some light music and grab yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or your favorite beverage. Sit outside if the weather is nice. Walking or doing chores is great if you're reading an audiobook. You can also try reading when you're waiting for things. Try instituting a reward system, like eating a special treat whenever you finish a book/story, chapter, or you've read for your ten daily minutes.
Happy reading!
