"Puppy Interview" by Mortmere
If due South was made today, we might get to see a puppy interview with Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie! (Draco isn't allowed to join them for puppy safety reasons.) BuzzFeed does these interviews where celebrities are playing with rescue puppies while answering questions, and the results are often hilarious and, above all, incredibly cute. So let’s at least imagine the scenario where our guys do a puppy interview. These puppies are Samoyeds, just for maximum fluff.
The background is pink because I got this idea when I watched Jonathan Bailey and Matt Bomer's puppy interview for their gay history drama, Fellow Travelers, and used a screenshot from that interview as the base. And anyway, maybe the pink fits: imagine Paul going on and on about how homoerotic the new season with the new Ray is going to be and how sexy Callum is, like he did in that magazine interview back in 1997.
Obviously, it's Paul doing most of the talking here - that wouldn't change. Too bad they did so few interviews together back in the day, and even fewer are now available online. Maybe someone will unearth something nice for the @ds30below History week?

1er essais sur papier layout, essentiellement fait à l’estompe.
1st tests on layout paper, mainly done with stump.
La lumière de la série, beaucoup de clair obscure,encore plus présente lors des saisons 3 et 4, ainsi la l’image retravaillé par en HD ont influencé la technique.
The light of the series, a lot of chiaroscuro, even more present during seasons 3 and 4, as well as the image reworked in HD influenced the technique.
Essais sur papier à grain avec crayon pitt graphite matt, c’est horrible plus je regarde plus je vois les défauts !
Tests on grained paper with pitt graphite matt pencil, it's horrible the more I look the more I see the defects!

"I got short hair!" - Ray Kowalski in "I Coulda Been a Defendant"
Some Leap Day silliness based on the famous wartime "We Can Do It!" poster. Not sure Ray Kowalski can do it, but Fraser accepts him in his scout troop because at least he has short hair, like Fraser's childhood troop member, a girl named June.
This is possibly the quickest piece of fanart I've ever made, except for the few freehand portrait challenges: I started looking for a reference pic for Ray around 6:30 pm, and was still going nowhere with the project around 7:30 pm, but damn it, here I am, final version saved at 11 pm - would've been 10:45 but then I realized I had forgotten the obligatory bracelet and had to go back for a bit. Leap Day made me do it! :)
