duck keeps saying how hes not brave and hell run from the first sign of danger bc hes no longer chosen, hes just some dude whos liable to get seriously injured, seems ABSOLUTELY convinced that hes like that, but then he goes and hangs off a car trying to chase the abomination, runs after it w the sheriff and hollis when he could have easily left, offered to go to the telescope alone even tho its dangerous bc he saw leo dying there and wants to protect him, and then tells sarah drake to hide herself bc hes gonna try to rescue the security guard and deal w the abomination
