happy fourth bday to calm 💛

forever grateful for this record for a little light in the dark that was spring 2020 and for bringing me into a community that brought me friends all over the world and laughter and joy at all hours of the day

i’ll never forget day dreaming about taking trips all over to see each other and late night discord listening parties and reading fics to each other and battling the uncertainty of everything going on around us with hope and creativity and love

this album was a catalyst for a lot of good when everything else felt a little bleak. grateful grateful grateful

#can you tell i’m a bit emo over Community this morning lol #for the rest of my life i’m probably going to remember staying up late #drunk on discount wine from the corner store in my college neighborhood that no longer exists #watching four dummies introduce us to this record that would inspire just an unreal amount of joy and creativity in this little corner of #the world #sometimes i think about how they could have just postponed the release of calm #and i just? probably maybe wouldn’t have met so many sweet souls i’ve had the opportunity to meet #bc of these songs #blows my mind a little bit #5sos forever and ever and ever
