Billy laughs softly, hair bouncing as he bounces up and down in excitement. "Thanks, mom." He grins up at her, hands curled into fists due to how excited he was. His eyes shine brightly at the praise.

it wasn't a SECRET , at least not one that he kept , that he had found bella being around really difficult . not just difficult , he found her dangerous . the last thing he wanted was to draw attention to ALICE , and that was exactly what happened . that wasn't bella's fault ; jasper instead blamed that on edward . but now . . . he had nothing more to worry about than normal

Their limbs are all intertwined, and Clara finds herself more comfortable than she's felt for a long time. Can she even remember the last time? They are laying there in the silence, Clara's eyelids slowly drifting closed when she hears the Doctor speak. She looks at her, and gives her a quietly baffled look. It turns into a smile as her fingers intertwine with the Time Lord's. She gently squeezes her hand. "I promise," she replies softly as she scooches closer. "From the bottom of my heart. I'll still be here. I'll always be here."

Rare was it that Isabelle came across such a young vampire. Rare but never impossible. She'd been around for a long while now and had seen all manner of awfulness that the world had to offer.

"You are such a young thing," Isabelle remarked, her Spanish roots long faded and in its place a strong Mississippi accent flourished from so many decades in the area. "I bet you make for an interesting hunter."

Allea loved her brother, being so close together in age they might as well be twins.

He had always been with her, so when Aunt Leia had sent him on a mission that would be several rotations, Allea had sobbed. But now he was back and nothing was going to keep Allea from her sibling.

"Ben!" Launching herself at her brother, Allea held him tight.

"I've missed you!"

javier had gotten her up early that morning to get a head start on her training for the day. training, rest, training, lessons, maybe a stroll through persephone's garden and independent studying followed by playing with cerberus..more training. no one went easy on her even at her young age of nine. monsters on the surface wouldn't take pity on her simply because she is a child so it's necessary. her muscles and joints scream in protest, but she pushes through. she might live within hades' palace, but she is far from a princess. 'a hero in training', her father's words echo inside her head.

she spots hades out of her peripheral vision. this momentary distraction while sparring with a skeletal soldier was all it needed to knock the girl down to the ground. "no fair!" she hollered. "sooner or later...i'm going to win!" elizabeth attempts to get up but her legs feel like jelly, and she only manages to sit up. "with my father as my witness, i'll be making your beds in the grave!" she declares, not that the skeletal soldiers were paying her any attention.

Eleanor sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Like I needed something else to cover up." She had her hands full with Jackie lately.

"absolutely not." persephone says, probably a bit too quickly. she sets down the glass of wine in her hand with a soft huff - a mix of concern and empathy crosses her face. all is quiet - nighttime, or what poses as nighttime in the endless darkness that is the underworld. no sunshine down here, no natural rhythm. she has half of a mind to down the rest of her glass of wine before continuing, but figures hades might need it more than she does. so she grabs a glass, fills it half full, and crosses to offer it out in either comfort or a peace offering. however it's to be intended, persephone does mean it in kindness.

"are you bein' self pityin', or do you really want me to go? because i can't believe either comin' outta your mouth."

not that he's complaining about the witch's presence, per se. far be it from him to protest a visit from his ethereal companion -- however, he's not so fond of her always seeming to show up when he's in dire straights.

or, in this case, falling out of his balloon's basket like an amateur and eating shit on the forest floor below, right at her feet. hester had landed with an oof! beside him, her embarrassment equal to his once she recognized the snow goose before her.

" d'ya still think i'm dashin' & debonair? " he hasn't bothered getting up, electing to stew in the embarassment & catch his breath for just a moment longer. luckily, the fall had only been a few feet, otherwise this would have been a much darker scene.
