So there was this thing on the wof subreddit called dragon of the week, which was basically when the community would vote for a character, and everybody had a week to draw that character and it was pretty cool! Eventually, the person who started it kinda stopped posting it and I think it would be cool to bring it back and I think it would also be cool if people from other social medias got a chance in it participating too, so (hopefully) here's the start of the first unofficial Dragon of The Week
I would really appreciate it if anyone who saw this rebloged so more people have a chance to see this!

Dragon of the Week 7/8
Todays Dragon of the Week is another one of my favorites of the Grove... Morrigan(She/He)!
"There is no true "graveyard" in the Everbloom Grove, the soil doesn't allow it, but there is a small clearing dedicated to those of the clan whom have gone to serve the Gladekeeper. A pool with smooth stones along the shore for offerings and parting gifts to be left, watched over by a single dragon."
Morrigan is the Clan's grave keeper and memorial dragon! She's a solitary Dragon, only really having friends in the head Scientist Grace and the ever-traveling Noir
She's a dragon I got and dressed/figured out lore for pretty early on, so like most of my guys, she holds a special place in my heart <3

I recently bought an art book on Caspar David Friedrich, whose emotional work stuck with me since I first saw it in a museum years ago. Over the course of a few weeks, I read about his life and at the same time did studies/interpretations of many pieces. It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling project; here's a good lot of them together :)
I was happy to see many people enjoyed Friedrich's work+my interpretations while posting them individually. It took way too long, but I FINALLY set up a print shop for some of these + some other pieces for those who expressed interest. Thank you so much!

#dungeon meshi#kabru#laios touden#falin touden#Happy Thistle Thursday once again. Have I been holding on to this comic for several weeks? Sure have!#I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play.#I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks.#Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.
