AB Fanweek Day 1!!

Friendship / Rebuild / Honesty

This took me waaaay longer than it should have, it’s now April 2nd but you won’t tell right 😅

Yuuko is placed a bit awkwardly, but I felt like she wouldn’t make it into any of the other pieces and sort of rushed her into the composition. Would probably have moved her somewhere closer to the foreground (and farther out of Ochan’s silhouette) in hindsight. Well, I promised myself I would try to learn as much as possible from these in order to justify spending my whole week on Astro Boy fanart!

In the binge of Pluto and dipping back into Astroboy/ Tetsuwan Atom, I realized I forgot all about the sort of prequel "Atom The Beginning" where they made young Dr Tenma ABSURDLY anime hot. Like ... complete with glamorous eyelashes.

This alone would be funny, but the disparity between him and Dr Ochanomizu makes it HILARIOUS

Dr Ochanomizu's basically a koala toy that got to be a real boy one day, and Tenma's just "absolutely had an eyeliner phase in his teens. Maybe is still having one."
