Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and that these three are:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i mean, what the fuck?? why are the side characters so devastatingly handsome and powerful and the main LIs so...blah?
sure, we can have a fling with pierce and hephaestus and kiss "ares" (as eris, but looking like ares...and only if we fuck up one of our choices), but damn it, i want full routes and endings with characters who are actually cool and interesting! seriously, was ANYONE actually romancing jason or theo??

Spicy things I think abt a lot in rc...
Vying for Versailles:
All of it tbh specifically ft the amount of threesomes and Alexandre's debauched yearning and long ass smut scene whew
Hearts of Trespia:
REINHOLD
Whoever wrote that meme of "man loses everything and becomes 10x hotter" so true
I love Wyatt but reinhold is super special to ME his scenes were hot and kinda unhinged for no reason grrr
The first smut scene is so intimate and tender :(
Rage of the Titans:
Considering mc's goddess incarnation and yet she can sleep w/ like every character past, future, present and enemies before deciding on a main LI in s3????? 😭
And despite how many spicy scenes there were, they were all pretty damn good for no reason
Marshall's was unfairly hot with a bit of angst at the end ffs might replay just for him, Murphy's def a certified freak, Jason's a menace, Adrian's had me feeling emo, and Theo's got me gasping and reeling STILL from the whole "five-two thrusts" and making her COUNT the slow ones....
Chasing You 1 & 2
Alexander's freaky ass w/ his bondage teaching, attic scene, boat scene, and the greenhouse scene in CY2!!
His god complex makes me wanna d-word but we move
Sam's were spicy in CY1 but I really don't remember them all that much idk he kinda annoyed me but I like him much better in CY2 😋
Ezra's choking is wack 💀 can't wait to punt his ass sorry not sorry
Heaven's Secret 1 & 2
Tbh Lucifer's spicy scenes were kinda random and wack 😭 HS2 def sold me tho w/ his stupid angst self
The whole fingering outside his jail cell got me weak tho
Mimi tasting like raspberry!!! I knew that first Christopher!! F U!
FALLING DURING ANDY'S SCENE BUT STILL GOING GOD BLESS U FREAKS
Dino's flying scene too ok pop off or fly off king
Malbonte's scenes 💯 BITING AH
His post wedding scene convinced me I picked the right man it had me kicking and screaming when I saw the options 😭
I refuse to romance and satisfy Astaroth's perversions but he is a freak and their reactions in the memory isles got me dead
The Flower From Tiamat's Flower
Tbh still not sure if mc took the Dragon dong mad respect if she did 😭
Song of the Crimson Nile
THE SEXUAL TENSION GO BRRRRR
I JUST KNOW IN MY TIDDIES THAT SET'S GONNA MAKE A REFERENCE TO RIDING AND NOT HORSE RIDING AND IF HE DOESN'T I'LL CRY BUT I'LL PROLLY WIFE LIVIUS UP FIRST OH WHALE
Also Set's fuckin reference to a peach (if u pick that perfume) for no reason what a heathen
Amen is such a thirsty mfer my god I only took his scenes to laugh at his thirsty ass 😭 I *need* to know how this ends rn

What if the Teen Wolf characters we love were also our favorite Brooklyn Nine-Nine characters?
Captain Holt = Sheriff Stilinski : A leader and a father figure, someone who can be trusted to do the right thing no matter what.
Jake Peralta = Scott McCall : He means well. He’s also a leader, though things don’t always go the way he plans. He views the sheriff as his father figure, because his own was never around.
Charles Boyle = Stiles Stilinski : The best friend with unwavering loyalty. His jokes sometimes fall flat, but he never gives up. He’s got good camaraderie with the entire precinct. Everyone likes him, or at least tolerates him.
Amy Santiago = Allison Argent : Insanely smart and fond of finding the answers, she sticks to a very strict moral code and needs to find proof before making an arrest.
Gina Linetti = Erica Reyes : Confident and unafraid to be herself, she’s good at scaring (or annoying) people into doing what she wants.
Rosa Diaz = Lydia Martin : Intimidating but a sweetheart underneath, she knows how to use every weapon in the precinct and is not afraid to do so.
Terry Jeffords = Vernon Boyd : The rock of the precinct, literally and figuratively. He’s the strongest, and his plans are the most likely to work every time- after the sheriff of course.
And now for the bonus characters
The Vulture = Derek Hale : He comes in at the last minute to save the day. Nobody will admit to liking him (Jake/Scott actively hates him), but Boyle/Stiles has a secret crush on him. Maybe someday it’ll become a secret relationship.
Adrian Pimento = Peter Hale : Mentally unstable, they never know if he’s going to help them or try to kill them. His toxic relationship with Rosa/Lydia led to him leaving the precinct to make random appearances later.
Teddy Wells = Isaac Lahey : Has a slight obsession with Amy/Allison, but is a good guy deep down.
Doug Judy = Liam Dunbar : Anger issues turned him to a life of crime, but he’s trying to be a better person thanks to Jake/Scott. Nobody understands their friendship.
Kevin Kosner = Chris Argent : Very smart and refined, he rarely interacts with anyone from the precinct. He takes great joy in the finer things in life, but can sometimes unwind when the situation calls for it.
Bill Hummertrout = Theo Raeken: Everyone knows he’s a fake and doesn’t belong, but he tries very hard to work his way into the group anyway.
Jason Stentley = Coach : He never really knows what’s going on, but he’s going to hype up the squad anyway. He tries… kind of.

NASA goes Steampunk for its future Venus probes
NASA knows better than any of us that what seems normal today was once science fiction. So, it isn't afraid to bet some cash on some fanciful space projects via the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) symposium. This year, the agency looked at projects it calls "little more than ideas," including a Venus probe inspired by famed Dutch artist Theo Jansen, the creator of wind-powered "Strandbeests."
"The NIAC program is designed to let technologists stretch and create concepts that have never been considered by NASA before," said NIAC program executive Jason Derleth, adding that ideas can come from universities, businesses or garage inventors. Still, proposals must be based on "solid scientific and engineer principals and to advance NASA's mission objectives," he adds. An example of that is Adrian Stoica's folding mirror probe, that would create a "solar oasis" on the moon, approved for fuding at a prior NIAC symposium.
The most interesting project is AREE (Automaton Rover for Extreme Environments), a Venus probe. Since our unfriendly neighbor of a planet can hit 842 degree F temperatures and 90 times Earth's atmospheric pressure, most electronics would be dead on arrival.
AREE would actually use Venus' conditions to its advantage by taking power from the wind and tapping a mechanical computer. A radar reflecting piston would move up and down to transmit surface "data" as morse code, which could be picked up by "repeater" balloons and transmitted to Earth from an orbiter.
The team based the design on Theo Jansen's Strandbeests, whimsical automatons that patrol beaches powered by wind and canny mechanical design (below). But after they brought Jansen himself aboard, he recommended dropping the early mechanical leg design, as it wouldn't work if the probe tipped over. "The beaches of the Netherlands are nice and smooth, but the surface of Venus is rough and harsh," lead project engineer Jonathan Sauder told Fast Co. The team is now exploring a tank-like probe, with a central wind turbine (above), that could handle rough conditions.
Another drone called the Ice-moon Cryovolcano Explorer (ICE) would face the opposite conditions on Europa, Saturn's fascinating moon. After landing on the surface, the probe would deploy a so-called descent module that could "rappel" down a cryovolcano vent. Eventually, it would arrive below the surface of the planet, which scientists figure could be liquid saltwater warmed by so-called tidal flexing. From there, it could swim around and explore the environment, searching for life.
Other projects include a glider that would explore asteroids by floating on electrostatically charged dust and a weather balloon powered by chemical batteries from Venus' caustic atmosphere. Crazy? It seems that way now, but it's the so-called crazy thinkers that dream up our future lives. The best projects get $100,000 for entering Phase I, and up to $500,000 if they advance to Phase II research.

Rugby: West Coast on top of Heartland Championship
New Post has been published on https://diary.nz/rugby-west-coast-on-top-of-heartland-championship/
Rugby: West Coast on top of Heartland Championship
After not even making the top eight of the Mitre 10 Heartland Championship last season, West Coast have continued their flying start to sit on top of the 2019 table after an important 27-21 win over Horowhenua Kapiti in Levin on Saturday.
Along with Wanganui, Horowhenua Kapiti had made the largest contribution to the NZ Heartland XV side playing Manu Samoa at Eden Park, as they were missing forwards Scott Cameron and Aaron Lahmert, along with outside backs Willie Paiaaua and Timoci Seruwalu, whereas West Coast were without hooker and captain Troy Tauwhare, along with second-five Sione Holani.
However, coming off their big 56-27 win over King Country last week, West Coast likely took a little added motivation into their first away match, as it was Horowhenua Kapiti who led an eight-union appeal to the NZ Rugby appeals council last season which saw them stripped of six competition points to miss the playoffs.
Trailing 14-7 at halftime, the visitors came back with two more tries in the second stanza, while fullback Todd Struthers continued his good kicking form by converting all three plus adding a penalty, while first-five and tryscorer Jesse Pitman-Joass popped over a crucial drop goal.
The other tryscorers were flanker Josh Tomlinson for the second game in a row, along with lock Sam Lebezeit.
Horowhenua Kapiti’s tries came from halfback Kane Tamou, flanker Nathan Kendrick and fullback Himiona Henare, with their Manawatu import first-five Cody Hemi converting all three.
The second round kicked off early on Friday night under the big lights of Forsyth Barr Stadium, as North Otago took their home game with Wairarapa Bush 90 minutes down the road to Dunedin, winning 25-11 in the televised curtain raiser to the Ranfurly Shield defence for Otago against Manawatu.
Both teams were coming off good victories over South Canterbury and Wanganui respectively, with North Otago having given forwards Ralph Darling and Meli Kolinisau to the Heartland XV, while Wairarapa Bush went without skipper and lock James Goodger.
North Otago got an early chance after a kick charge down from a 5m lineout, but missed the try, as did Wairarapa Bush when they lost possession near the line, making several attacking forays from halfway, eventually getting a penalty for first-five Tipene Haira to convert.
Getting a penalty and opting for an attacking scrum, North Otago halfback Robbie Smith held up his pass as winger Howard Packman approached with two dummy runners, and the Englishman took the ball and sliced through for the converted try.
Wairarapa Bush were by no means out of the contest, as just like last week, Haira added a long range penalty on halftime to close the gap to one point.
North Otago were looking to strike first after the break, with Packman dashing away off a 30m scrum, but the chasers couldn’t bring in his attacking kick right at the line.
Keeping Wairarapa Bush pinned at that end of the field, North Otago worked to the line again and second-five Samuel Tatupu smashed through a one-on-one tackle to score in the 51st minute.
Wairarapa Bush needed to strike back, as their veteran fullback Inia Katia worked into an attacking channel, but winger Tristian Flutey dropped the inside pass.
North Otago then worked forward off steady phases, with Packman again going close, and from the tryline ruck the North Otago game centenarian Lemi Masoe, returned this year from South Canterbury, went in to score for 19-6.
Again Wairarapa Bush wouldn’t go away as they got in position for a cross kick into the corner and reserve back Brock Price followed up from the initial leap by the attacker to dive on the rebound ball as it fell to score.
But his team were destined to get no closer than 19-11, as North Otago trapped them in their own half, being offside on an intercept attempt and then infringing on a turnover as they tried to run it out, with Smith landing successful penalties on both occasions.
The win meant North Otago would be joined by West Coast as the only undefeated teams after two games.
There was another match played under lights on Friday at Owen Delany Park in Taupo, as King Country rebounded from their heavy loss in Greymouth with a comfortable 34-12 win over West Coast’s neighbours Buller.
The home side had given prop and captain Carl Carmichael to the Heartland XV, but the long-travelling Buller were really going to miss pivotal playmaker James Lash, along with No8 Jeff Lepa.
King Country led 17-0 before Buller lock Gabba de Kock scored a reply converted try, but the hosts crossed again before the break to extend their lead.
Despite de Kock getting his double in the second half to close the gap to 29-12, King Country had it under control with their fifth try with four minutes remaining.
It was a good night for the outside backs as centre Alefosio Tapili and winger Sisa Vosaki both scored two tries.

Halfback Zayn Tipping also crossed, while first-five Evaan Reihana added three conversions and a penalty.
Saturday nearly saw the boilover of the round as East Coast, still hunting their first Heartland win since 2013, gave Mid Canterbury a fright before going down 22-15 in Ruatoria.
Mid Canterbury had only lost influential flanker Seta Koritamana to the Heartland XV, and while the perennial wooden spooners have no current reps, all eyes were on their newest acquisition in 10-test All Black, provincial rugby traveller and recent Celebrity Treasure Island contestant Zac Guildford.
It took until the 31st minute before points were raised as Mid Canterbury attacked the line on both sides ruck before No 8 and captain Jon Dampney slipped a tackle to go under the posts, converted by first-five Corey McKay, who then added a penalty right on halftime for 10-0.
East Coast fullback Zane Crooks got his team on the board with a long range penalty in the sixth minute, then after an excellent buildup and control to stay in the attacking half, Guildford fed No 8 Mitchell Crosswell to bust a tackle and get the ball back to go rush in at the corner and close the gap to 10-8.
Mid Canterbury stayed composed and after they secured a turnover at the breakdown inside East Coast’s 22m, the ball was spread wide to fullback Matt McAtamney to score in the corner.
After some end-to-end play, Mid Canterbury sealed the match with six minutes left as a 5m saw them pull a midfield switch play to put reserve back Manasa Bari under the posts, converted for 22-8.
But not dying wondering, East Coast ran it out from their own 10m, throwing the ball everywhere over two phases, before winger Epeli Lotawa got through two diving tackles to run back under the posts to bring in a bonus point for the home side on fulltime.
South Canterbury rebounded from giving up the Hanan Shield to North Otago by flying up to Gisborne and coming away with a 40-29 win over Poverty Bay.
Coming off an upset win over Thames Valley and with their halfback Mario Counsell celebrating his 50th game, Poverty Bay were confident yet found themselves trailing 22-8 by halftime, the visitors doing fine without goal-kicking halfback Willie Wright and outside back Kalavini Leatigaga on Heartland XV duty.
The ball was spread for winger Brad Tunnicliffe to score a first half hat trick.
South Canterbury extended their lead to 32-8 through winger Clarence Moli scoring one of his two tries, converted by Wright’s understudy Theo Davidson, who then added a penalty.
It looked like the visitors were well on track for 50 points when fullback Zac Saunders scored for 37-8 entering the final quarter.
However, the home side dug deep and ultimately got a four-try bonus point from the match with three more tries, quickly going back-to-back from the 61st minute, and then getting an automatic seven point penalty try with three minutes remaining at 37-29.
Flanker Adrian Wyrill, the unlucky NZ Heartland XV wider squad member to miss out on the Eden Park game, would get a double, while centre Ethan Reeves got the other try by player, as fullback Andrew Tauateluva added two conversions to go with his first half penalty kick.
South Canterbury had reserve Reilly Cormack get a penalty right at the end to stop Poverty Bay having a chance at a second bonus point.
And Wanganui’s poor start to the season continued as ill-discipline cost them in their 36-30 loss to Thames Valley in the rematch of last year’s Meads Cup semifinal in Whanganui.
Both teams were understrength as Wanganui were represented in the Heartland XV by their captain Campbell Hart, and their entire halfback to second five lineup in Lindsay Horrocks, Craig Clare, and Peni Nabainivalu, while Thames Valley lost captain Brett Ranga, hooker Glen McIntyre and promising winger Harry Lafiuanei.
The home side had a great start to lead 18-3 after 20 minutes through tries by goal kicking fullback Nick Harding in his blazer game and captain Roman Tutauha.
However, a strong build attacking runs by import backs Danny Kayes (Bay of Plenty) and Jason Laurich (Auckland) set up Thames Valley winger Matiu Abraham scoring in the far corner, before first-five Regan Crosland added another penalty kick from straight in front for 18-14.
Wanganui’s Dane Whale dashes through to score against Thames Valley at Cooks Gardens.
Wanganui hit back with first-five Dane Whale going himself from close range for a fine individual try, but the home side couldn’t stop a rampaging Laurich as the fullback’s support players helped push him over to score right on halftime.
Wanganui just couldn’t stop giving away penalties in front of their own posts, gifting Crosland two more successful chances to lock up the scores, and then reserve forward Laulea Mau dived over from a tryline ruck to give his team the lead with 20 minutes left.
Crosland extended that advantage with a sixth easy penalty kick, and although Wanganui struck back with a good try to Manawatu import centre Shai Wiperi with two minutes left, they infringed in their own half yet again in front of the posts for Crosland to land a seventh three-pointer on fulltime.

Grant Hill Q&A: ‘I Wouldn’t be Shocked if Loyola Cuts Down the Nets’
To put it mildly, the last day of March is a big day for Grant Hill.
The two-time NCAA champion will be calling his fourth consecutive Final Four for Turner Sports with Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, and Tracy Wolfson, his second biggest accomplishment of the evening. By the time the first game tips-off at 6 PM on TBS (friendly reminder to those stuck on tourneys long past, that’s TBS not CBS), Hill will (officially) be a proud member of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. The actual announcement won’t come until Saturday afternoon, but Adrian Wojnarowski’s sources already have Hill in Springfield, Mass. alongside no-brainers Steve Nash and Jason Kidd and Sixers champion point guard Maurice Cheeks.
Given his notorious injury history, Hill’s NBA career is often viewed through a What If? lens, but it’s been a Hall-worthy career that far exceeds his medical records. He’s a seven-time All-Star, made an All-NBA team five times, and of course, there are his incredible years in Durham and 1996 Olympic gold. And not for nothing, but he’s regarded as one of the nicest guys around hoops, which is why he won the NBA Sportsmanship Award three times.
Hill took time out of preparing to call the Final Four—starting with No. 3 Michigan Short Shorts vs. No. 11 Loyola Chicago Fighting Sister Jeans and followed by the No. 1 heavyweight showdown between Villanova and Kansas—to speak to VICE Sports. He talks about the highs and lows of his long basketball life, Duke hatred, hammering on ShaqIlvaine, and trying to keep up with Bill Raftery, in broadcasting and barflying.
First things first, let’s go back to the flat-top days, when Grant Hill yanked a ball out of the sky and his long winding road to the Hall of Fame began…
This interview took place before Hill learned he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. It has been edited for clarity.
VICE Sports: Before we get to the NCAA Tourney, I want to ask how you’re feeling about the Hall-of-Fame announcement, a mere 48-hours away…
Grant Hill: My fingers are definitely crossed. There are some amazing finalists—Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Ray Allen to start—so it’s a tough class. Prepping for the Final Four this weekend while knowing the announcement is coming is exciting and nerve-wracking all at once.
I think you’re going to get in Saturday because Springfield looks at a player’s entire career, not just the professional years, but that being said, I looked at your NBA stats and had forgotten how many great seasons you had. Do you think your stellar NBA resume gets overshadowed by seasons lost to injury?
It’s interesting, people I talk to across the country tend to put my basketball career into one of three buckets: The Detroit Piston era, a general respect for overcoming all the injuries, or the main one, Duke. Naturally during March Madness, it’s all Duke all the time, but no matter what time of year, it’s what I’m connected to first. The Kansas dunk and the pass to Laettner will live forever. The NBA injuries are a part of my story, but I wouldn’t say it overshadowed the rest of my pro career. It’s more about certain memories stick with fans and mine are generally from college. Even knowing all we accomplished on those amazing Blue Devil teams, I never thought people would still ask me about it a quarter-century later.
One last Hall-of-Fame question, you started out in the iso-ball era, and then spent five-years at the end running with the Phoenix Suns. Nobody in the NBA is playing Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant clear-out hoops anymore, but everybody owes a debt to the Suns. Are Mike D’Antoni and impending inductee Steve Nash getting enough credit for changing the game?
You can’t overlook the Kings of the early 2000s, the free-flowing way they played, or even what Don Nelson was doing on the Mavericks with Steve Nash, but I think D’Antoni has perfected it. The league has transitioned because D’Antoni’s system coincided with rule changes offering more freedom of movement and less physicality. It’s funny because playing against those Suns teams in 2004-05, I looked around and it’s like ‘what the hell is going on out here?’ It was total chaos with their different sets and styles, but then playing with them, it all made sense. Now it’s the entire league and I don’t think D’Antoni and Nash are recognized enough for revolutionizing the NBA. The curious thing is, will it ever swing back?
Let’s switch to college. You may or may not be aware of this, but there are more than a few people out there who don’t care for Duke, placing them on the Yankees-Patriots spectrum of teams fans love to loathe. Are most people good-natured about it, or do you get tired or defensive about the Duke hate?
No, not at all. It’s great. Love or hate ‘em, it speaks to the passion of college basketball. There are themes as to why Duke is reviled, the whole I Hate Christian Laettner idea, but it’s really rooted in the success of the program. You can’t deny the historical domination of the Patriots or the Yankees, and hate Duke all you want, but the same is true for what Mike Krzyzewski has accomplished. It’s about excellence and playing the right way. It’s an honor to have played a small role in his legacy. Duke evokes emotion. Good, bad, or indifferent.
As for fans talking trash? It’s almost always joking and in good fun. But don’t forget, I played in the NBA for nineteen seasons, I can talk trash. I can take it and I give it out too.
Last Sunday’s Duke-Kansas game was an absolute classic—and I know it’s your job as a broadcaster—but inside, is it hard to keep your emotions or loyalties in check when Grayson Allen’s floater somehow misses twice?
I’ve done a number of Duke games, all of them when they won in 2015 [ Ed note: Hill laughed adding ‘‘or when we won it if that’s how you want to put it’], but the responsibility as a broadcaster is to be an analyst and provide insight. When it’s a classic, you get lost in the game, and anything outside of what’s happening on the court vanishes. It’s the exact same thing as when I was playing in close NCAA tournament games. During Duke-Kansas, I was completely captivated and reacting to the action unfolding. Coach K used to prepare us for each NCAA weekend by saying we were playing in a “four-team tournament.” Looking at the 64-team bracket can be overwhelming, so lock in and focus on the four-team tournament, and replicate it three times. I take the same approach to television. As a player or broadcaster, getting lost in the game is the reason for doing it.
After a game like Duke-Kansas, I might wish it went the other way, but as a broadcaster, I get to know coaches and kids from both sides. I love Bill Self. I had a great time hanging out on Saturday with Devonte’ Graham and Malik Newman, and know the heartbreak of losing in the regional finals two years in a row. It’s such a privilege to get to know these kids—Carolina! We called back-to-back Tar Heel Finals with Joel Berry and Theo Pinson, who dapped me up before the tip-off! It’s suppose to be sacreligious as a Dookie, but getting to know kids, and experience their stories like UMBD or Loyola, is the best part of the job.
This is your fourth Final Four, is it akin to your senior year where you know what you need to do down cold?
I actually feel like it’s the fourth game of my freshmen season. Here I am at center court in a huge arena, with the best seats in the house, next to two legendary broadcasters in Jim Nantz and Bill Raftery, so I still get pre-game jitters. Once the game starts, I feel more comfortable for sure, but I’ll never catch up to Nantz or Raft in terms of experience. I’m just trying to get better.
Every year, the bigger part of the NCAA tournament experience, however, is how much fun we have. I look forward to the whirlwind month when Nantz, Raftery, Tracy Wolfson, and myself are joined at the hip. It’s an odd little family, but we generally like each other. The off-screen camaraderie is even more important than the on-screen chemistry.
Question pertaining to my interests: Your freshman year slam against Kansas in the Finals is the most famous, but as a Marquette alumni, I want to ask about another dunk that came two years later in the Sweet Sixteen—
Three years later. You’re talking about the Jim McIlvaine dunk, my senior season.
Ah, so clearly you remember it.
I knew about Jim McIlvaine because he won the 93-94 Defensive Player of the Year, which I won the previous season. Mac was a great shot blocker, no doubt, but I had it in my mind before the game to get him. In the first half I was facilitating, setting guys up, waiting until the right time to step in, and not doing a lot of scoring. But I remember the guy Marquette had on me was just yapping, wouldn’t stopped talking trash. I think he was a small forward—
Roney Eford
Eford, right. First half I was like Okay, Alright… I’d been playing off the ball, so at halftime, I told Jeff Capel let me take the point and go to work. I think I caught an alley-oop, and then later, I just blew by Eford and dunked on Mac. I got him. It was a nice little moment.
What should fans look for at the Final Four? Who’s dancing at the end?
Professional obligations mean I don’t make predictions, but I honestly believe all the Final Four teams have a shot regardless of seeding. They all have guys who excel at shooting from the perimeter, so it’s which team is going to bury 15-18 threes. Playing in a dome can have an adverse effect, it is different. So Villanova has the experience factor, but each team has good spacing and multiple shooters who can get hot.
Do you really think America’s sweethearts, the Loyola Ramblers, can win twice?
To be honest, I thought they would lose their first game, and certainly not get out of opening weekend, but no fluke team makes the Final Four. It’s earned over four games, and Loyola has been fairly dominant with the three-pointer opening up the floor. I’m not a betting man, not Jimmy the Greek, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Loyola cuts down the nets.
Last question. I, like most of America, want to have beers with Bill Raftery. What’s a night out drinking with him like?
For starters, know that Raft doesn’t do beer. Also know his stamina is amazing. Unbelievable. We’ll be at dinner with wine, maybe a nightcap, then the next morning you’re struggling and he’s going like he just bagged twelve hours of sleep. I never know quite how to prepare for a night out with Raft. Do you build up endurance? Or limit participation?
We joke about it on air, but the main thing is, it’s a great time for fellowship. We have a blast.

2017 fantasy football rankings: Top 150 overall
Welcome to the 2017 preseason! To get you ready for your drafts, we've got an updated rankings of the top 150 overall players in fantasy football heading into Week 1 of the preseason. Check out our full 2017 fantasy football preview draft guide!
Editor's update: We updated our preseason rankings following the second week of preseason action. The most notable change is reflected in the adjustment of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Bruce Arians wants to get David Johnson more touches. Everyone else wants to get more David Johnson.
The Arizona Cardinals running back was already worthy of No. 1 overall status in fantasy football drafts when he was averaging a paltry 23 touches a game in 2016.
But … 30!?
That, and Johnson’s stated goal of rushing and receiving 1,000 yards each this season makes Johnson SB Nation’s consensus choice for top overall fantasy football pick in 2017.
Nobody touched the ball more in 2016 than Johnson. No one gained more total yards from scrimmage and no one found the end zone more often. Again … on 23 touches. And with Carson Palmer not getting any younger or better, it makes sense for the Cardinals to rely even more heavily on their third-year back. Arians promises that even with 20 carries and 10 receptions per game, he will not wear Johnson out or leave him open to injury. Fantasy owners will take him at his word and watch the yards and touchdowns pile up.
But don’t despair if you’re sitting there with the second pick. Le’Veon Bell might not get 30 touches per game, but it’s what Bell might get when the season is over that could allow him to challenge Johnson for 2017’s most productive player.
Bell, who will play for the Steelers this season under the franchise tag of $12.1 million, will be a free agent in 2018, and that is all the incentive he’ll need to put up a monster season. Adding to Bell’s attractiveness as our No. 2 overall pick is his potential to play in all 16 games this season — something he has done just once in his first five seasons.
Despite missing four games in 2016, Bell finished third with 1,884 yards from scrimmage – 200 yards better than the No. 4 man on the list -- and was just 230 yards shy of Johnson, who played all 16 games. Bell had just five fewer receptions than Johnson, despite Johnson out-targeting Bell 120-96.
Bell ranked fourth in total touches (336), just 37 behind DJ. Bell was one of just two running backs to average over 100 yards rushing per game.
Give Bell four more games to work with (including two against the Browns) and he can make a pretty good case to go No. 1 himself.
The only other running back to make our Top 5 is the Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott, who led the league in rushing average as a rookie, was second in yards from scrimmage, and finished third in touchdowns. Elliott, who ranks fourth on our list, could miss a game or two to start the season because of a suspension. Elliott looks to follow in Johnson’s footsteps and do away with any talk of a sophomore jinx.
Antonio Brown, our unanimous top wide receiver on the board, checks in at No. 3 overall, as the era of taking a dominant running back first in fantasy drafts continues to recede. Odell Beckham Jr. of the Giants and Atlanta’s Julio Jones rank fifth and sixth, respectively, as five wide receivers crack our overall Top 10.
Unlike his teammate Bell, Brown signed a five-year deal with the Steelers in the offseason and should be motivated to improve on what was, by his lofty standards, a down year in 2016.
Beckham Jr., who ranked third in receptions (101) and yards (1,367) to go along with 10 touchdowns, will have the best No. 2 receiver of his career alongside him in 2017, with the Giants’ acquisition of former Jet Brandon Marshall.
Perhaps the most intriguing player move in the offseason was DeSean Jackson to Tampa Bay, where he should take some of the defensive pressure off superstar Mike Evans, who ranks No. 8 on our list. Evans caught 96 balls for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns last season despite being essentially the only option for Jameis Winston. With Winston a year older and Jackson demanding attention, Evans could be in for a monster season.
Rounding out our Top 10 are Chargers running back Melvin Gordon at No. 7, Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green at No. 9, and Buffalo running back LeSean McCoy at No. 10.
Our first non-RB/WR appears at No. 20 with tight end Rob Gronkowski, who will look to bounce back from an injury-plagued 2016. Our first quarterback appears at No. 31 with Aaron Rodgers, as the quarterback position remains one that can be deferred until later in drafts.

Elliott, who ranks fourth on our list, could miss a game or two to start the season because of a suspension, but that should not scare owners away, as Elliott looks to follow in Johnson’s footsteps and do away with any talk of a sophomore jinx.
