Jacobi is dark side Hufflepuff primary Slytherin secondary, Eiffel is light side DoublePuff, Hera is double Gryffindor which is why Eiffel loves her so much, Lovelace is burnt Gryffindor primary and secondary, Minkovski is a Gryffindor primary Ravenclaw secondary which is why Lovelace loves her so much, Maxwell is Ravenclaw primary Slytherin secondary but might have been DoubleClaw in another life, controversial opinion but Kepler is dark side Gryffindor primary Slytherin secondary, Pryce and Carter are Double Slytherins, and Hilbert's an asshole (:

I used Black Soap for 3 weeks here are my results…
African Black Soap has been a staple in my family’s products for a few years, I would use it on and off just for special occasions when my skin needed a break from “regular soaps.” In fact, now when I think about it, I only used black soap as an assurance just to make sure my skin would be alright.
In November 2018, I started my passion business, KoKo Beauty Essentials, to sell all natural products like black soap and a signature oil, but I never thought I would NEED to use it on myself.
(me circa 2012 🙈)
I never had a skin regimen because I never needed one, as a teen and all the way up to my senior year in college, my skin was OK (despite the occasional pimple or two for that *special* time of the month).

(Me no foundation, only mascara August 2018)
I passed through an entire semester of stress from graduating, trying to change my fitness and eating, AND working 2 jobs with skin that was still healthy.
(Break out 😦 late Sept 2018)
However,  6 weeks ago, out of nowhere, my occasional 1-2 pimples became 4 pimples, then 8, then double again and formed pimple colonies on my face. I don’t like taking medicine, and thought waiting it out would help, but that then led to dark marks left from the pimples and the return of 5 pimples that were so deep under my skin they were red and hurt to touch.
(Break out 😦 Beginning of Oct 2018 )
My first thought was to cry, because literally my skin was angry at me, and I didn’t know why! With my skin being sensitive AND breaking out this bad, I took it to the basics and re-introduced pure african black soap back into my life. I figured how could I offer something to my clients that I wouldn’t try for myself? Knowing that African Black Soap has been used to treat acne, especially after watching hundreds of Youtube videos, I knew I had to give it a try. I wanted my skin back!!
I STOPPED using my  trusted dove soap, and swapped that for the black soap instead. I took out my daily face lotion, and swapped that for some mango butter and a dab of tea tree oil to help soothe the redness (I would do this every other night).
Daily, I would wash my face using my manual face brush I got from Sephora, then moisturize with mango butter. At night, I would use my hands to rub the soap on my face, but if I wore makeup that day, I would use my face brush to ensure I got all the makeup gunk out. Again, I would seal in the moisture with the mango butter.
(Results as of October 23, 2018)
So far, it has been 3 weeks and my pimples have gone down, redness and all! AND there is a stark difference in the hyperpigmentation that was left from the pimples beforehand.
I am in no way saying that African Black Soap is a cure-all for everyone, but it has surely helped me! Even after 3 weeks there is so much improvement, and I can’t wait to see how my skin will be 2-3 months from now.
Let me know if you all would like me to update!
XOXO,
That Classy Afro Chic
