Summary of File:
Very first 'normal' save + current longest running save, focused on playing through as much content as possible and achieving as many feats as possible.
Accidentally got Angel tf after hyperfocusing on making money for an entire month by spamming the spa (wanted to make sure she could take on Robin's debt and still have extra money on the side to not get punished by Bailey).
Very school + reputation focused (all reputation is positive), visits mickey and landry as much as possible to lower fame + buy pepper spray.
Worst world corruption out of all the saves (stole ivory necklace + rite of defilement).

Summary of File:
2nd save + 2nd longest running save. Focused on doing all the things that Monay's save couldnt do.
Playstyle is a little more risky with trying to get money using the lewder job options and trying to raise his lewd fame. Currently the save is almost exactly the same as Monay's save except they're less restricted by the way they can actually fuck around.
Mostly made just to see the difference between rite of promise faithful!sydney vs rite of defilement fallen!sydney. Also supposed to be the save focused on romancing Whitney but ended up liking Robin and Kylar more.
Lowest world corruption out of all current Pcs (never stole the ivory necklace + rite of promise).

Explicitly made to dismiss/reject all the school/town lis.
World Corruption is currently unknown since I made her explicitly to stay the fuck away from the temple.

Created on a whim because I wanted a crossdresser PC. Has the most amount of Feat boosters out of all my starting PCs (mf used all 259 coins I had).
Also created just to fuck around with Rite of Promise and trying to corrupt Syd.
Current goal is to try and achieve fallen forgiven status + getting the other transformation feats I hadnt gotten yet (namely fox + cat + wolf).

I am LOVING the new temple stuff and I have barely even done anything yet, I’m stuck at the advancement trial but each weekend I’m one step closer to ascension.
Alright some lore for Oriana.

Oriana is a initiate at the Temple, she wasn’t always a part of it however. After bailey her caretaker in the orphanage, told her she needed to start paying weekly dues, Oriana took a walk around town to find a possible job to help her with such a task.
It was a Sunday morning and many of the initiates and members of the temple were bustling on wolf street. Stricken with curiosity Oriana entered the church and took part of the morning mass.
It gave her a sense of peace even for a moment.
This is where she met Jordan who quickly asked if she wanted to join the temple. Oriana decided to accept and went through the purity ritual.
On her way out she met someone with strawberry blonde hair and amber eyes. Sydney
The two quickly became friends and attend to the temple every day. When Oriana approached Jordan with the intentions of advancing in the temple, Sydney happily joined her, and together they visit the temple every Sunday at dusk for the ascension ritual.. they have yet to pass. But each week grow closer to doing So.
The first few times Bailey tried to force Oriana to pay. She rejected it, Bailey then sold Oriana to a hunter in the forest. Eden
Eden and Oriana have a mutual relationship, Oriana keeps them company (no lewdness, just some nice friendship) and Eden let’s Oriana stay in her cabin.
While Eden does have growing feelings for the sweet girl, She’s come to respect Oriana’s heart belongs to another and accepts the Olive branch of friendship that Oriana has given her.

so there was a thread on the galemancers subreddit about ship playlists for him and so many of the girlies were saying work song and i hard disagree! work song is not the most thematically appropriate hozier song for gale. this of course led my brain down the rabbit hole of all of the origin romances and their most thematically appropriate hozier song so here's my picks:
gale: better love
so one might think take me to church is the obvious choice or even like real people do but for me it's gotta be better love. you still get a bit of the religious imagery but with the added bonus of comparing the pc's love favorably to a god's love.
astarion: it will come back
i was briefly tempted to go with to be alone but really just the chorus and some of the first verse works. however it will come back is just too fitting. esp with how much astarion seems like he feels the pc doesn't feel as much for him as he does for them.
karlach: francesca
could go with someone new but karlach is the most francesca ass girlie to ever exist. not just for her romance but in life. she will choose to enjoy the things and people she loves no matter how briefly she will have them and she will always choose that.
shadowheart: take me to church
if any of the origin romances is take me to church it is 110% shadowheart like i don't even need to elaborate you get it. i could also see in a week for her just for the goth girl vibes.
lae'zel: shrike
nfwmb is a clear choice but i really like shrike for her. a love song inspired by a violent bird of prey just seems fitting lol.
wyll: work song
i struggled with wyll because he's just so straightforwardly romantic and hozier songs usually have some angle to them lol. you could go with from eden or jackie and wilson but honestly tbh he's work song. "heaven and hell were words to me"? yeah he's work song.

It’s so rare I see someone who likes Darryl! I really loved the scenes where you get to save them. Do you have any headcanons about them or Landry? I think my favourite might be Jordan, their shower scenes are too cute 🥰

Darryl:
Their glasses are for reading only. They don't need them for everyday use. This is why Darryl will set them on top of their head when not using them
It would be better if they kept their glasses on a chain around their neck. Wouldn't forget where their glasses are (as often) if on a chain. Doesn't like the look of it though, thinks it makes them look too serious
Would be interested in a romantic relationship but not necessarily a sexual one. Not necessarily with the PC, but just in general
Sex is a big deal for them bc of their past. Any sexual relationship would start as a friendship then turn into romance then, maybe, into sex. Would take a long time to evolve from one to the other
Knows Briar and is not on good terms with them
Avoids going near the school at all costs. Does everything in their power to avoid Leighton. Might have actually banned Leighton from the club
Feel like Darryl would be a huge nerd. Like, could go off on a target about some minor historical fact for over an hour
Doesn't drink often. Only does when their head gets stuck in the past
Doesn't swear a lot. Even though they run a strip club that has some explicit VIP services, Darryl is saying 'dang' and 'Frick'
Will swear when their emotions run high! Knows every bad word under the sun and will use them!
Can't really do physical altercations because their fight/flight/freeze/fawn instinct is stuck on 'freeze.' Same for verbal altercations. Only enters into verbal fights on other people's behalf

They give you a slight nod and keep moving. Leaving Avery is not an option, not unless you're willing to face their rage later. You push Landry out of your mind and try to focus on the people Avery is talking to. It’s boring but these conversations usually don’t last too long. Avery tries to talk to as many people as possible at these parties; making connections, rubbing elbows, that whole shtick. As luck would have it, the next person Avery singles out to schmooze with is Landry. When Avery introduces Landry as 'Jesse,' you don’t bat an eye. You give Landry a shy smile that you know will earn you points with Avery, if at the expense of teasing at the pub. Maybe Landry will cut you some slack? After all, you don't say anything about how after shaking Landry's hand, Avery is wearing one less ring

I wish there was like a ‘soft’ dismissal for the LIs, like it just resets all their stats and freezes them, but it won’t actually remove them from the game. Cuz like I never go for kylar but I don’t want them out of my game either yknow? I think the only one I’d properly dismiss is Avery, I never go on dates with them so the rage meter just slowly builds until they’re insufferable
I started off with romancing Kylar cause I love the yandere trope, but then after the first run-through I ended up liking others *cough*Eden*cough* way more and also started ignoring them. But I feel bad dismissing them. Or any other LI! Whitney's is one I'll never allow myself to do. Screenshots are good enough. And I can't leave Robin at the docks.
As for Avery, when you get that rage up high enough they'll break it off themselves. I would like Avery more if they had more content, but they can get repetitive rather quickly.
Alex, Eden, Great Hawk, and Black Wolf can all be avoided pretty easily.
As for softer dismissals, it would be rather difficult to do for most LI. Kylar would not handle being cut off from the PC well, Whitney views you as theirs so they also don't like you avoiding them. Robin I could see as having a softer one, but it would still be a heavy scene that would probably crush hearts.
Maybe a quest line where the PC acts in ways that turn off the LIs? Makes them realise that the PC is not, in fact, worth the hassle, and ends with them breaking things off?

Quick question. How do you activate flycam in ME1 cutscenes? Is there a specific mod to download?
You need enable the in-game console to do it. If you have ever modded Mass Effect with the Mod Manager, you're good to go. If you have not, I do not possess the technical prowess to walk you through it, sadly.
TAB activates the console, and the command for FlyCam is "ToggleFlyCam." I mapped this to a macro on my keyboard, so I could do it quickly, because changes in camera angles and such can kick you out of it.
For ME:LE ME1, I had to go into the coalesced_INT.bin and add some lines to get it to work properly in conversations and cut scenes, otherwise the camera would stay rooted and I wouldn't be able to move it around. I'm still having a lot of trouble on the ship - screenshoting the romance scene in FlyCam is a bitch, and I haven't been able to get anything from the locker scene. But on places like Eden Prime and Virmire, it works like a dream.
I haven't explored FlyCam in ME:LE ME2 or ME3 yet, but I did muck around with it in OT:ME3 just using ToggleFlyCam, and had a fair amount of success.
The Mass Effect wiki has an article on PC Tweaks, though I think it is largely relevant to the OT and not ME:LE (I do not know if ME:LE changes any of what's there). Most of it is over my head, as I am brand new at this. This was my first attempt to mod a coalesced file, and I am very proud I did not break the game, ha.
I joined the ME3 Tweaks and ME Mods server on Discord to help me muddle through as I try and learn a few things, which is where I was able to find the flycam scripting I'm using for ME:LE ME1.

What’s the most clutch thing one of your characters have done or another player pulled off? How did your GM react?
I just touched on this haha!
So…
We spent months trekking back to the Chromatica, the magic school where I trained and went insane after a botched ritual I was manipulated to be in. My two longest friends Carina and Vathemon (also an ex boyfriend of my character) were still there. My character Kurtis was desperate to see them and it was a good opportunity to research at their library and to get our hands on some magic items.
We get there and it’s empty, which is odd as the Chromatica is the only magic school in the continents, so where are all the staff and students? We walk around and find a teleportation portal and so naturally we all jump inside without knowing where it goes. We end up in like a pocket-dimension in the astral sea, a vast Eden like garden of groves and rivers.
We find Carina and Vathemon here along with the staff and students who are under some form of mass enchantment. It turns out the Arch Mage Dena created this paradise and is using the students as her personal lackies. Something was attacking the school so everyone evacuated to this pocket-dimension and she isn’t letting them go.
Dena makes my friends do degrading shit like kiss her boots and dance for her. Until our Dragonborn fighter who’s too proud and stupid openly attacks her. ROLL INITIATIVE!
She’s at least a level 17 because the first spell she casts is Time Stop (a 9th level) to boost your her defences. And we were like level 7, so yeh we fucked. Fight is going wrong quickly, we’re starting to drop one by one, then she Force Cages a PC I’ve started to romance, our stoner Cleric Blackwell and his pet dog Paige.
She’s mocking me, the team is down, nearly out of spell slots, some on death saves and it’s my turn in combat. Dena says some shit like “come boy, you little white-haired freak, lick my boots and I’ll let your friends go.” And I say some shit like “Dena, I will gladly lick your boots” start walking up to her “the next time I see you, IN HELL!”
Then boom! I use my amulet of the planes which needs a DC15 INT check to make sure only the target plane shifts and not anyone else in her radius and I fucking make it. Fortunately wizards have a healthy INT bonus and I chose to send her to the Nine Hells. She screams and she’s gone. The Force Cage drops, her paradise collapses and the mages she used as basically sex slaves are freed.
My DM was so proud lmaooooo he gave us all like very powerful magic items as a birthday gift to us one by one and I don’t think he knew how important planar travel is to my character. And I spoke to him about it and he fully expected Dena to kill our PC’s on death saves and I pulled the rug from under his feet.
But he reminds me; she isn’t dead. She’s in hell. She’s a very powerful Archmage, it’s only a matter of time before she gets back to the material plane.
Then I’m fucked. Well I’m not level 7 anymore I’m level 10 haha so next time we may do better.

Fiction (DMR Books): Author John Myers Myers passed on thirty years ago today. If for no other reason, his novel, The Harp and the Blade, would justify a blog post about him here on the DMR blog. However, Myers wrote many other interesting works and the arc of his life holds some interest as well.
Fiction (Hillbilly Highways): Bauserman pitched an advanced copy of Some Dark Holler to me because I reviewed a collection of Manly Wade Wellman’s Silver John stories. I get a lot of these, usually with the author comparing their work to some colossus in the field. But I couldn’t resist, being a huge fan of both country noir and speculative fiction. I didn’t remotely expect Bauserman’s work to live up to that of Wellman, a master unequaled today in my eyes.
Fiction (Sacnoth’s Scriptorium): So, now that I’ve wrapped up my current research trip among the Tolkien papers in the Marquette Archives, I’m amazed as always by how fluid and flexible the story-line of LotRs was when Tolkien was drafting the book. What really strikes me this time are the small details that seem so out of place, when their spurious sense of inevitability only comes from the fact that Tolkien did in the end pick A instead of B at a given spot.
Authors (Black Gate): Locus is reporting that Canadian fantasy writer Dave Duncan died yesterday.
Duncan was born in the small town of Newport-on-Tay, Scotland, but spent his adult life in Western Canada. His debut novel was A Rose-Red City (Del Rey, 1987), published when he was 53 years old.
In later years Duncan wrote that entering the field using his own name was a risk, due to the lingering popularity of 50s SF writer David Duncan (Dark Dominion, Beyond Eden), who published his last novel in 1957. Duncan was a vocal fan of the elder Duncan, and used “Dave” for his own published work.
Publishing (Men of the West): Why is Mental State such an important book?
It’s important because powerful people want it squashed and disappeared so badly. Colleagues at the University of Chicago warned him that this novel would ruin his career and spark riots after forty-five death threats appeared recently on his voicemail. Now he’s been de-platformed and his own law school refuses to mention the book even though they enthusiastically promote books by other professors.

Gaming (Jeffro’s Space Gaming Blog): I still have time to get a good read in, though. Most recently I got ahold of Fenton Wood’s Pirates of the Electromagnetic Waves… which pivots effortlessly between weird pulp horror, fairy stories and tall tales. Here’s my tweet-sized review:
What this book does is it takes all of the subversive, dystopian impulses of science fiction between 1940 and 1980 and it turns it all inside out. This is the kind of fiction we could have had if publishing had not been weaponized and turned toward cultural suicide.
Fiction (John C. Wright): Rogues in the House, the seventh published Conan story, first was published in Weird Tales, January 1934.
Here, Robert E Howard has finally hit his stride: the characters, the action, and above all the theme leap vividly from the page and into a permanent place in the reader’s imagination. This is a fan favorite, and for good reason. If you want to introduce Conan to someone who has never read a Hyborian Age tale, this is the one to recommend.
And I do recommend it. Please read no further if you have not read it, because I must spoil several clever twists in order to discuss them.
Gaming (Niche Gamer): When Blizzard recently announced a remaster for their legendary real-time strategy game, Warcraft III, many fans wondered just how much of the game was being changed underneath its fresh new coat of HD paint.
Now, we’ve learned the remaster – subtitled Warcraft III: Reforged – will have an online multiplayer component that is fully compatible with the original Warcraft III online multiplayer, among other new details.
Yes, this means users loading up the ridiculous 4K remaster of the beloved RTS will be able to play it online with holdout grognards that are still logging into that same old lions gate portal – for a game that launched back in 2002.

Gaming (Table Gaming News): Funforge is running a Monumental Kickstarter campaign. That describes both the name of the game as well as is an accurate description of what the game encompasses. I’ve not written this post several times. It will be intensely personal, brutally honest, and not directly about gaming resources. It is likely something in this post might trigger you, regarding abuse, sexuality, or mental illness. It is filled with ups and downs, trials and travails, good and evil, hope and loss.
Cinema (Noblebright): Arthur is trying to get the other knights to accept him as king. Some of them, such as Uryens, refused to have a bastard for a king and chose instead to make war on Arthur’s ally, Leondegrance (played by Patrick Stewart in the movie clip). Arthur rides to Leondegrance’s castle to aid in its defense. This is his first act of feudal loyalty; he’s just one boy with a sword and not much in the way of armor, but he has a moral duty to come to the aid of his besieged supporter, so that’s what he does. He kills some of the enemy, then leaps from the parapet and tackles Uryens in the moat.

What are your thoughts on the love interests ?
Alex seems too normal for my little degenerate mind. I like them, they're really sweet and are nice interactions for the PC to have, but ultimately they end up friendzoned. I think if the hints of them being something more and hiding behind a facade of niceness gets explored then I'll feel more inclined to romance them. Their parents seem to think something is up there, and the whole occasionally being a little sadistic (throwing that heavy hay on you) makes me think Alex probably was put on that farm alone on purpose.
Avery I liked a lot at first. But then they kept offering me rides home when I was trying to walk home with Robin and I gradually found myself getting more and more annoyed with them. The whole sugar baby thing is nice at first, but once you're earning more than that yourself? I find myself avoiding Avery. Wish they had a dismissal event. They also get pretty repetitive pretty quickly, so if there were more options around them I might enjoy them more.
Black Wolf also feels like they need more. Id like to see then have more involvement with the player. They feel less like an LI and more like a tool to get the wolf transformation.
Eden is obviously my favourite. Emotionally stunted protective dom whose very good with their hands and into pet play? Sign me up right tf now. I really love spending holidays with them, especially valentines day. The lines about them trying really hard and moments where they get all blushy are really cute. But I want a moment where they fucking crack, and the players gets to see where they're truly vulnerable.
Great Hawk is amazing. As a hoarder of random pretty bullshit, when the video game harpy brings the player pretty things and says its as pretty as them appeals greatly to my goblin mind. Very wholesome. Again though, gets repetitive quickly.
Kylar. Oh Kylar. They were the first LI I persued. I never care about having a high status, so I'm happy with them doing embarrassing shit. Also really helpful that they can knock out people who assault you when they stalk you around the streets. The arcade days are really cute, too. I love the little moments where you can see how deranged they are at low jealousy, like when you're in the park and they ask if you've been thinking about anyone else, they'll know. However, Kylar can be so inconvenient if you try to romance other school NPCs at the same time. I can't bring myself to hurt them, so the Halloween haunted house event where you have to chose between them and Whitney (my second favourite LI) it's so hard.
Robin, like Alex, seems too vanilla to really pique my interest. It also doesn't help that you might have to take on their debt, I worked hard for this money, but I really like having the option for the PC to just have a friend. Robin also seems to sense that Avery is a piece of shit, which is great.
Whitney is very frustrating for me. I love them, I hate them, I love to hate them. My first run through had me hating them vehemently and I fought them every chance I got. Decided to give them a chance on my second run through, and it was getting dragged into Leighton's office that cracked me. The orgasm screen where Whitney is blissed out and Leighton misinterprets it? Had me by the throat. Now I just let Whitney push me around, I love all of the consensual scenes with them and their sweeter moments. Would throttle them if I knew them irl though.

Okay as much as I love the friendship between the younger trio.
I still can't shake how they at SOME point all had an crush on each other at least once in their lives, and in not taking any criticism on this one because I KNOW it's true.
And that's where the anon that requested the threesome thingy comes in.
Because they all had feelings for each other just need a small push (on Edens dick) ahem.
In conclusion it should've just been an poly at this point disguised as an friendship and I feel like before the threesome Eden and Bailey 100% kissed before accident or not, and that PROBABLY when Bailey started to realize his feelings for Eden.

The days these three realise they all want each other will be the funniest fucking day.
Eden assigns himself role as the top. He's not bottoming, Bailey, shut up. They end up fighting over who gets to top several times, before Pre-PC just finishes themself off and leaves them to it lmao.
They don't do big dates or anything. Just enjoy the quiet times of the day where they can get a lot of blankets and pillows and cuddle in a pile in someone room, snacks everywhere, Eden reading out loud or Bailey telling some wild story about this criminal dude he met at the bar. Pre-PC speaking up with their interest every other time they cuddle like that again.
Eden dragging you two on hikes in the forest. Bailey complains the entire time but secretly loves being away from everything out here.
Pre-PC having cash to spare, so they take the boys out shopping and makes them try on outfits.
As for the first kiss thing? I can see like 12 year old Bailey and Eden huddled away reading some old romance Eden found, maybe before Pre-PC got there, and they get to a kissing scene. They get curious and kiss each other, then never ever mention it again until years later when they end up in a throuple.
