JINKX IS THE MASTER. Okay so here's what we know. Jinkx is playing Maestro, a word meaning Master. The Master loves to do this- the entirety of Delgado's run was just that man switching up the letters in his name or using words for Master in different languages. Love him for that. So glad RTD is bringing that back.

People exist who actually want the Master to be written out of the show? Even temporarily? They’re like…the only other reoccurring character. The only other active character that can be recasted. Almost as central and iconic to the show as Cybermen or Daleks. Infamous for coming back from the dead. The Doctor’s person.

It's been a good several months since my journey through Classic Who has given me a solid dose of trauma. Mostly because Four is pretty benign and inconsistently written, so the stakes haven't felt particularly high. Highs and lows as par for the course, some great writing and some bad writing, but there hasn't been another War Games as far as character development that punches me in the gut. Finishing off S15 with The Invasion of Time, an episode arc that should have had the highest stakes but really fell flat, reminded me of some of those left field plot lines that left me feeling raw.

I've loved Leela, and like most of Fours stories, her character as a story element has been pretty inconsistent, but I've still rooted for her the entire way. Her departure at the end of this episode was an impressive parallel to Susan: An alien left on a planet with widely disparate technologies from their own culture for a relationship with a man for which we were given minimal development. The injustice of that is still with me, and oof this exit felt like an echo. Another companion done dirty.

every day i pray for doctor who to stop neglecting companions other than rose and doctors other than ten and every day RTD spits in my face and says "more Rose angst"

I just want Martha or Bill or Rory or, god forbid, 11-13 to be treated with respect 😭

people seeing gifs of the 15th doctor having gay little moments and going "ohh what's this show? i gotta watch it" is literally ending me not just coz of the concept that anyone can be unaware of doctor who but also bc like. while i do think it's a show ppl should watch in its entirety. DON'T DO IT FOR GAY REP LMAO. like it literally does have a lot of lgbt rep even all the way back in season 1 of 2005 fame but watching 13 seasons of doctor who coz something gay happens in the new eps is like. idk finding out there's a new pride and prejudice adaptation with a gay character in it and going ohhhh that sounds fun:) guess i'll go watch every adaptation ever made

I have nothing against David tenant but if I have to see that man have any important/notable role in 15’s season I will rip my hair out and fight the showrunner

It’s a new year and I’m back with a bang! gonna be posting more great artwork regularly.

I adored Ncuti’s performance in the Giggle and TCORR, he’s already soaring right up my favourite Doctors list, with an energy, a passion and the emotion to make the role utterly his own and Millie also had an amazing start as Ruby Sunday this Christmas, I can already tell she’s gonna be an all time great companion.

So as we head into 2024 I can’t wait to see more of them later this year, the new season is gonna be fantastic, I just know it. I can’t wait to see more of this tardis team and to see what brilliance has cooked up.
