Video
You can cancel the recovery off the move when you buffer in a dash into either 8 / 2. It needs to be a move that has followup intervals. You can use a hold as an example. When you do a hold, buffer in a dash. The moment you see a dash (very first split second) immediately input up/8 or down/2 into your move. It's a 3-frame window of tightness so it's not very easy to do, but with enough practice or timing, it can be very possible to be used.
