I never noticed any weird pacing in mh but I never notice writing flaws in general so.

describe your aesthetic. oof, that’s difficult. i’m drawn to muted colors and clean lines with a warmth to them. modern but with influences of nature? because busy patterns and bright colors make me anxious. i need to feel soothed, by clothes or art, etc. because my mind is a mess. this made no sense, sorry.

Scandic Lerkendal kunngjør i dag et samarbeid med StudiebyEn i Trondheim. Sammen ønsker de å støtte oppunder alle studentene som til høsten vil få store vansker med å skaffe seg bolig til skolestart i august.
Scandic Lerkendal og StudiebyEn i Trondheim inngår et samarbeid som skal bidra til å lette boligproblematikken rundt studiestart i trønderhovedstaden. Trondheim har omdømme som landets beste studentby, og 34.000 studenter er tilknyttet byens universitet og høgskoler. Hvert år kommer om lag 8.000 nye studenter til byen. Mange av studentene har store vansker med å finne bolig til studiestart. Tanken bak samarbeidet er at ingen studenter skal bli stående uten tak over hodet, som også gjenspeiles i prosjektnavnet «Tak over hodet».
Slår et slag for studentene i Trondheim
Scandic Lerkendal, med hotelldirektør Bjørgvin Thorsteinsson i spissen, slår et slag for studentene i Trondheim, og ønsker boligløse studenter velkommen i august. Med sitt splitter nye kurs- og konferansehotell stiller Thorsteinsson med et betydelig antall hotellrom til disposisjon i fire uker fra 5. august. En periode vi av erfaring vet at alle nye studenter i Trondheim leter etter et permanent sted å bo.
— Det er ingen tvil om at det er vanskelig å være tilflyttende, boligløs student i Trondheim. Vi håper at Scandic Lerkendal kan bidra til å lette den årlige boligproblematikken som gjentar seg hver høst i Trondheim. Med vårt splitter nye kurs- og konferansehotell, beliggende rett ved hovedcampus for NTNU, føles det veldig riktig å åpne dørene for studentene i byen, sier hotelldirektør på Scandic Lerkendal, Bjørgvin Thorsteinsson.
Scandic Lerkendal vil stå ansvarlig for å gjennomføre «Tak over hodet» – garantien, med god hjelp fra StudiebyEn. Med svært studentvennlige priser vil hotellet tilby enerom, dobbeltrom og trippelrom til alle studentene tilknyttet NTNU, HiST, DMMH, BI og Folkeuniversitetets jusavdeling. Fra 150,- kroner natten vil studentene få overnatting, frokost, gratis internettilgang og opptil 100 tilgjengelige leseplasser inkludert i prisen. Hotellet vil også, sammen med StudiebyEn bistå studentene med informasjon og hjelp i boligjakten.
Scandic inn som profesjonell aktør
— Dette er et viktig tiltak for studentene i Trondheim. Tidligere har vi tilbudt studentene overnatting på nedslitte gamlehjem, nedlagte skoler og gamle forsvarsbygg. Nå kommer Scandic inn på banen som profesjonell aktør, og gir «Tak over hodet» – garantien et voldsomt løft. På sikt tror vi dette kan bli en bærekraftig løsning for studentbyen Trondheim, sier Tove Lill Karlsen, prosjektleder, StudiebyEN.
Ordføreren i Trondheim er også veldig fornøyd med initiativet til Scandic Lerkendal og StudiebyEn.
— Dette samarbeidet er forbilledlig! Flott at næringslivet ser studentene og kunnskapsmiljøet som ressurs, sier Rita Ottervik, ordfører i Trondheim kommune.
Dersom pilotprosjektet evalueres som vellykket har begge partene en intensjon om å videreføre avtalen.

#PHnews: Pampanga joins nationwide tribute to front-liners
GUAGUA, Pampanga — Some 200 health care workers from the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital (DPMMH) here on Sunday joined “We Light as One,” to boost the morale of other essential workers, who like them, are in the battlefront against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
Dr. Fleur Zapanta, medical chief of DMMH, said health care workers try their best every day to stay motivated despite being away from their family for the people that they serve.
“Hindi madali. Mahirap ang sitwasyon naming lalo na sa mga pamilya naming na gustong mag-stay na lang kami sa bahay kasi natatakot rin sila para samin but we have to practice our profession. Kailangan naming lumaban. Hindi kami pwedeng umurong kasi kami ang inaasahan ng taong bayan (It is not easy. Our situation is difficult especially to our family who want us to stay home because they are afraid for us. But we have to practice our profession. We need to fight. We cannot back out because the people depend on us)” she said in a statement.
Bernadeth Besonia, a 35-year-old nurse from DPMMH, said the past few months have been very challenging for health care workers like them.
“Mahirap po ang maging isang front-liner. Una po hindi naming nakakasama ang aming mga pamilya. Limited lang po ang aming galaw. Minsan nagkakaroon po kami ng deskriminasyon sa ibang tao (It is hard to become a front-liner. First, we cannot get along with our family. Our movement is limited. Sometimes, we experienced discrimination from other people)" she said.
To honor the bravery and contribution of health workers like Zapanta and Besonia, one of the 150 lights and sounds groups in Pampanga coordinated with DPMMH to stage its own “We Light As One”, a fund-raising event, which was also simultaneously staged in various parts of the country.
Carol Narciso, owner of Beauty and Beats Lights and Sound, said, “Even in small thing, we want to help to uplift their spirits”.
During the one-hour event, beams of light illuminated the night sky as prayers were offered as a show of solidarity with all the front-liners in the fight against Covid-19.
Medical workers gathered to perform their very own mob dance version of the “Fight Song” by Rachel Patten.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) on Sunday reported that confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province increased from 30 to 35.
Out of the total confirmed cases, two have recovered and nine died. (PNA)
