Sparda boys + V x Reader massage headcannons

¤ Dante ¤

-Is very, very stiff after years of fighting demons, doing crazy aerial acrobatics, getting stabbed in the chest, and falling asleep almost every night in his wooden office chair.

-Was a little shocked when you offered to give him a massage because no one had ever suggested something like that. Ever.

-His muscles were kinda sore though, so he agreed and hopped onto his bed, stomach down.

-The moment you started kneading his back, he heard so many cracks. It was like years of stress, trauma, both physical and mental, tension and pain was being popped and squeezed right out of him. It was such a good, relieving sensation.

-He soon melted into it, enjoying every second of your masterful mashing of his muscles with delighted little "Oh"s and "Ah"s.

-When you were finished, he found himself to be twice as flexible as before; the discomfort of a million battles finally gone. He'll definitely be coming back for a round two in the near future.

■ Vergil ■

-Does not like being touched by most people for whatever reason. He is constantly paranoid and afraid that he will be attacked if he lets someone touch him.

-However, you're a different story. He knows you wouldn't do anything to hurt him and that he could trust you, so he agrees to your offer of a massage, with some half-hearted grumbling.

-He wasn't sure what to expect from this "massage", but it certainly wasn't what he got. The moment you set to work on his taut, tense, rock-hard muscles, he felt himself instantly relax. He even let out a soft little moan.

-Vergil enjoyed the massage a lot more than he ever expected to. The sensation of having someone press down on your tense areas without murderous intentions was pure bliss.

-When you announced that you were finished with the massage, he whined. Yes, he genuinely, actually, unmistakbly whined. You thought he would request a continuation, but no. He simply stood up, stretched, and slipped his jacket back on.

-Massages are now a nightly tradition between the two of you. He even goes out and gets different lotions and oils for you to experiment with.

□ Nero □

-Nero has never had a massage in his life, nor has he ever wanted one. He didn't dislike the notion of you giving him a massage, nor did he like it. He simply accepted it to make you happy.

-Turns out massages are way better than he could have ever imagined! He just can't get over how it seems to make all his stiffness melt away.

-Now he wants you to massage his legs, arms, shoulders, and neck too--oh, and also the rest of his body.

-At one point he fell asleep while you were massaging him, proving one of two things: Either A, he's very, very, tired, or B, he's just that relaxed.

-Getting massages from you is now the number one thing Nero looks forward to when he comes home from missions.

-Sometimes he has Nico put together a new, vibrating attachment for his arm--which he will then give to you so you can have a helping hand.

● V ●

-V has never heard of a massage and therefore has no idea what it is.

-After Googling it, he deduces that such an activity would benefit him, and that he would be wise to take up your offer.

-And so he does; while the sensations are an entirely new experience for him, he finds them very enjoyable. In fact, they're so helpful in mitigating his stress, he should write a poem about them.

-V loves to have you massage his legs because they're so weary from traveling and supporting his lanky frame all day long.

-Also, he can read while you massage his legs, which makes it all the more comforting.

-Massages are now one of his top stress-relievers, other than cuddling with Shadow, that is.

Can I request a shy S/O who has a crush on Vergil/Dante/V and they draw the boys secretly in their sketchbook with little notes like "saw him in those dark blue jeans again he's so beautiful" or "how do I tell him I love him?" etc. The boys stumble upon this and they're so flattered they blush to their chest.

Dante

Your sketchbook was filled with sketches of him mostly during training since it was the only time his focus couldn't ver towards you at any given moment

You've indirectly gotten better at drawing action poses and the male torso because of this and the fact that this man goes full Grey Fullbuster and takes off his shirt to train

The other time you're able to draw him is when he's asleep, a magazine covering his face

One particular position you found him laying in had you write a note of "Idk how he's sleeping like this" next to the sketch of it.

Dante has noticed you with this sketchbook and hadn't thought anything of it until he realized he never sees you drawing him in it

His curiosity got the better of him one day and decides to take a look while you left it unattended.

The first few pages were as he expected, sketches of Shadow when she was around, the girls of the team, and even some of the orphanage kids playing from when you would visit Nero and Kyrie

Towards the middle of the book, he found all the sketches of him you'd been hiding

He looks over every single one and reads all the little notes you've left behind

He finds the whole idea of you sketching him cute and endearing

Seeing a particular sketch of him asleep, face facing you, with the note "He looks like he gives nice cuddles" has his face a flame, red tracing all the way down his neck

You drew this scared up man so soft, it was like he was looking at someone else

Vergil

You find going unnoticed by Vergil to be easy

He's always either reading or beating up Dante when not on missions

Vergil finds your sketchbook when he mistakes it for his collection of poems on a particularly sleepy morning

Opening it, he's taken back by all the drawings

It's obvious you have some skill

As he turns the page, he finds an entire spread dedicated to him reading

At the very bottom of the page it reads "he's always reading this thing, i wonder what secrets it holds"

Vergil softly smiles, a faint heat resting across his cheeks wondering if he could share a piece of himself with someone again

He was ready, wasn't he?

Flipping the page he finds a spread dedicated to him cooking, fighting, even simply being dressed up in a suit

"I'll admit, he's sexy in a suit"

Vergil's face sets a flame, the man shutting the sketchbook and replacing it finally with his poems

You become curious by the new sets of suits in the coming days but never complain

V

Griffon stole the sketchbook when you left it unattended

He scolds the bird for digging in your private processions but with a little coaxing from Griffon he looks inside

He's not surprised to see sketches of Shadow and Griffon, the bird boasting about how good he looked

As he turns the page, Griffon teases him for the bright pink blush that spreads across his face upon seeing sketches of himself

"My beautiful muse" is written in a beautiful cursive next to a sketch of V smiling

He flips the page expecting to find something different but it's more drawings of him

"May he ever know how he sets my heart a burning"

V can't help but adore you right then

He smiles, closing the sketchbook as you approach

He looks up to you, his smile causing one to spread across your own face

Griffon makes some comment about leaving you two to it before disappearing

Sparda boys + V x Reader who likes physical affection headcannons

¤ Dante ¤

-Congratulations, you've found yourself a fellow cuddlebug! Dante loves to lie around snuggling whenever he has time and will enjoy doing so with you. You two can often be found curled up with pillows and blankets on the couch, watching movies or boring TV dramas that put you to sleep.

-If he can't cuddle you to sleep, he'll be sure to hug you whenever he gets the chance, and kiss whatever part of you he has access to.

-Always greets you with a huge hug and kiss when he gets back from missions, sometimes even picking you up and spinning you around for a few seconds afterwards.

-Hand holding isn't all that common between the two of you because he needs his hands at the ready in case there's an attack. Sitting on his lap, however, is an entirely different story.

-He will always let you do it, regardless of who's watching. If he's sitting down, flipping through magazines and you're present, he will pat his leg, signaling it's time to take a seat. Once you do, he will kiss you and hold you close to him, refusing to let you go unless it's an emergency. Dante does this for 2 reasons:

It annoys the fuck out of Vergil, and

It allows him to indirectly brag to everyone about how you're his.

-Bedtime cuddles are a must! Neither of you can sleep without laying in each other's arms. If either of you ever have nightmares, (which happens a lot in Dante's case) the other is there to care for and comfort.

-Needless to say, when you're snuggling with Dante, you're in good hands--literally.

-"Hey, babe, didja miss me? Course ya did, c'mere, lemme give you a big kiss."

□ Vergil □

☝️that right there is the face Vergil makes when Y/N leaves his side for whatever reason.

-Living definition of a tsundere; says he doesn't need to be touched but secretly craves it.

-Doesn't like to be sat on like Dante does, no do not take this the wrong way but doesn't mind having you sit next to him and lean on his shoulder. Bonus points if you fall asleep like that.

-Will 100% let you read over his shoulder if you like, and straight up whines when you get up to get something, regardless of how quick your trips are.

-Speaking of shoulders, he loves it if you massage his for him--we all know how stiff demon hunter's muscles can get.

-He does not partake in PDA, but he most certainly will smother you with kisses behind closed doors, squeezing you, pressing you against him, and essentially trapping you in his hold like a shoe in a clingy dog's jaws.

-Bedtime snuggles are appreciated, but are not a requirement. He won't mind holding you for a bit, but prefers to be on his side of the bed when he falls asleep--he feels less vulnerable that way. However, when the nightmares inevitably come, he will slide into your arms and lay there, just feeling your warmth and listening to your heartbeat.

-"Don't be foolish, I do not require such trivial things such as cuddles. I-oh...alright. Fine. Just for a few moments."

● Nero ●

I am once again apologizing for the big-ass images. On the bright side, there's more for you to look at.

-Nero is not exactly a touchy-feely guy; he doesn't mind a quick peck on the cheek or a gentle, one-armed squeeze, but he won't engage in anything too extravagant.

-He will hold your hand whenever you go out together, and occasionally wrap an arm around your waist or shoulders.

-Does not engage in PDA; he's afraid of the teasing doing so will likely elicit.

-He won't mind it at all if you decide to climb into his arms or surprise him with back hugs. It's not that he doesn't like physical touch himself, it's that he has no idea how to initiate it.

-He doesn't initiate cuddles either, he'll just lie sprawled out on the bed, waiting for you to join him. In his sleep, he'll subconsciously roll over and hook an arm around your waist, drawing you close. When he wakes up like this, he'll be a little confused, then just shrug it off and go back to sleep.

-He will never outright admit he likes to hold and be kissed by you, but will melt into your touch and never actually resists anything you try to do to him, despite his grumbling.

-"Argh, get off 'a me, I got shit to do and ass to kick, don't got time for laying around. Well...I mean, it is early. Yeah, alright, you win. I'll stay."

■ V ■

Jesus Christ, he looks like a Yunnan snub nosed monkey

-V will take whatever you give, do not take that the wrong way horndogs! And will graciously accept any kisses, hugs, or snuggles you offer, regardless of how long they last.

-Kisses you every time he sees you, even if the last time he saw you was 5 minutes ago when you went to get a snack.

-Likes having you sitting in his lap so he can read to you, and also likes laying in your lap, listening to you talk about your day or anything else. He just loves listening to you.

-He feels weak almost all the time and would greatly appreciate it if you could carry him. He also likes being held by you because it makes him feel safe, so, so safe.

-He says he doesn't like to cuddle you at bedtime because he moves around a lot in his sleep and is afraid he'll hit you by accident, but despite these claims, he always sneaks into your room and night and lies down next to you.

-Thinks it's so adorable when you walk up to him and completely cover him with kisses.

-"Ah, there you are, my dear. Come, sit with me, and I'll read to you...if you like."
