How to Build a DIY Electric Mini Bike - 7,000W INSANE E-BIKE

There's really no need for a controller maybe it is a voltage regulator sends off extra current I don't know what these people are doing this for I think that they don't know what they're doing at all and I'm told it's true. This does not look like a something kilowatt motor it looks like a 350 watt motor and I found out it was and the battery is so small no wonder it lasts for 10 miles you can put a pretty good what motor in this very small frame and it's not the least expensive frame you can get for some reason it's kind of pricey but you can find these frames relatively cheap for like a hundred bucks and what I would do and I have an idea that's probably a name for it as you put in tires that are bigger like we said before the 17 to 20 out to out and this sprocket and you can toy with what size works the best. Electric is a good idea and you can put in a hefty motor when it becomes a motorcycle but the way he did the motor is perfect you still don't have gears and it's a question why it works better when you have a solid off axle you can have a better time at it it lasts longer it's easier to use second is you have a rear and front sprocket and you can change those to make it go a lot faster I'm told with this frame with the bigger tires and rims and they're only around 3-in or so wide roughly even two and a half but they're for scooters with the right sprocket configuration and is 750 w or so motor you can put it a solid lithium battery and you can buy them online nowadays and they're not as much as they used to be and you can put a charge port it's accepted at the gas stations in those charging ports you can find these parts and aftermarket and they're not that much and you would be halfway there to take your old ebike motor and use it for lights and things like that and get some reflectors and some blinkers and you make sure it's to dot standard yes a motorcycle it'll go 80 miles an hour

We tried it and we did not use an ebike tire or rim. And we use this guy's system and yeah that is not a 2 KW motor it's only 350 watts and it moves them really good and it's because of the sprockets and he's saying it too like 4000 KW or whatever and you can see it's not but you can buy a thousand watt motor and with this configuration the bigger tires and you do play with the sprockets you'll be surprised it'll go 120 miles an hour fast enough yeah and you just need a regular battery it'll go like a hundred miles a lot of people are going to do this they'll find out it's very true this frame is extremely made extremely cheap but it's overpriced you can buy these online for 90 bucks or 80 bucks and they're not mates well enough to bother us they have other ones that are made better that are cheaper than this one this was way overpriced. And they say it's from a period piece and but this guy new sun sign and you must be BG and he is and you can bring these inside the buildings and they don't care so this being said we're going to try and offer a complete kit and for under $500 you'll have the whole thing with the right tires and and you will have signals and so forth and I'll be DOT approved and he's saying when you stand back from it and put a bigger seat or you can simply put a second one with a piece of plywood on both you have a little motorcycle the size of his first bike and it's real and it works and it's fast a lot faster than his and you get to it from work and people make all sorts of designs now cuz they can figure out how to do it but that he is that you can easily Mount the motor and you can easily get a motors that are thousand watt and you can also use your hub motor and 750 works too pretty good it's not as good and it tends to burn more power if it doesn't have enough juice in the motor and you can mount those it does a lot of thousand watt motors in the hub and your mouth and underneath you and you run the chain to it it works perfect it doesn't come with a sprocket set up but you can do it and it's not that hard and it's actually fun because you're taking it and making it something very useful people will experiment and we'll figure out that you can actually take this motor and put it in a dirt bike and Enduro a motorcycle and it's going to work and you just need the battery and a controller and that's it I mean it is really not that complicated tons of people are doing it. But you can buy the setup for the cheap but really if you need a bigger tires you go fast.

This is the fastest bike I've ever made it's not true it's the lowest powered but works the best because of these sprockets if you put gears on it I can get this 350 w motor to push this thing to about 80 if you put tires on it it'll go 180 miles an hour with gears and people are starting to figure out how to do that it's awesome finally working something is Jesus wow that was bad
Tons of people are making mopeds out of the e-bike was very little effort you just put a better battery in and use your old batteries for the lights and it really moves

To honor my extremely silly and indulgent Fallout cycling AU, here are the companions and the different kinds of cycling they like to do! Shoutout to fellow bike nerd @bigwinged​ for coming up with lots of this with me!!
Companions
Cait: Volunteers at a bike co-op, builds Frankenstein/double decker bikes, does bike jousting and bike moshes. Organizes Critical Mass events to take over the streets, and makes sure women, femmes (trans women front and center) and the LGBTQA+ community at large are included in the Boston DIY bike scene.
Curie: Wheelchair and handcycle user. Doing her Ph.D. on disability and cycling from a wellness and culture standpoint. Likes biking for fitness but also enjoys things like fancy ascetics and those wine bottle holders you can strap to the bike.
Codsworth: Hipster cyclist. Has an extensive collection of pristine historical bicycles, his penny farthing is his pride and joy. Resident authority on the history of cycling.
Danse: Cyclocross and downhill mountain biking. Extremely athletic and competitive. He works at Maxon’s fancy, elitist bike shop but feels uneasy about it for some reason. (The reason is it sucks and is super classist.) He eventually makes better friends.
Deacon: Bike messenger. He’s an urban cycling veteran, has a collection of random bikes and builds them as a hobby. Mostly he’ll ride fixed gear bikes but also enjoys getting out of the city and exploring. He also organizes unsanctioned bike races for messengers and other daredevil city riders. Hates cars but owns one. Knows everyone.
Hancock: Really into street racing and BMX. Always at the skate park, getting stoned and doing sick tricks. Also a key organizer in an anarchist collective that runs the Third Rail, a punk venue heavily frequented by bike messengers and the DIY and bike activist scene.
MacCready: Ultimate bike dad. Heavily involved in the youth bike groups and trying to get kids active and excited about cycling as a way to get kids active, make friends, and feel like they have agency over their transportation! Rides a tandem bike with Duncan.
Nick: Ex cop-turned-vigilante who does bike safety classes, keeps an eye out for bike thieves and helps hunt down stolen bikes. Very much regrets his role as a cop and how the force would over-police and harass cyclists who didn't always look “respectable.” Does his best to look out for people and give back.
Piper: Quintessential bicycle rights activist. She makes zines about how bikes will change the world, lobbies the city for more bike lanes, how to combat car culture, and works with Cait to make space for women cyclists in particular. Has probably (absolutely) done a naked bike ride.
Preston: Runs a community bike organization that does it all--organizes rides, teaches classes, does fundraisers, reaches out to communities of color and low income communities to get everyone biking. Works out of Sturges' bike co-op. His favorite kind of riding is bike camping and long distance touring/traveling by bike. He gets so busy running the non profit he doesn't ride as much as he would like.
Strong: You know those cruiser bikes with the ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE TIRES? That could dent  a car? He rides those. On mountains, on the street, across your yard. Wherever.
X6-88: Bike messenger by day, professional competitive road cyclist 24/7 at all other times. A competitive racer, he uses being the physical demands of bike messengering to keep up with his racing. Extremely cool, the fastest guy in Boston, 11/10 intimidating but actually loves being part of the bike community.
ADA: Curie and MacCready's friend and fellow hand cyclist, also into ebikes and accessible cycling. Very sweet and inclusive, does a lot with youth!
Old Longfellow: Runs a crusty old mechanic shop that needs new lighting badly. No one knows how the fuck he's still in business, but he has the best stories and you can bet he's a fucking legend even if no one is sure exactly why.
Gage: Bike jousts with Cait. Probably has a bike gang or crew he rolls with. ACAB, slashes bike cops' tires.
NPCs:
Glory: Another bike messenger. She's also a competitive racer, though she like track racing (pretty much the NASCAR of bike racing). One of the best messengers in the city, undaunted by red lights, cabs, or six way intersections.
Tinker Tom: The mastermind behind the franken-bikes. Taught Cait and Gage everything he knows about bike jousting. Always scavenging parts to make the weirdest bikes and bike art he can. Expert welder.
Sturges: Runs a community bike co-op that is part of Preston's nonprofit. They have a tool library, hold classes and have drop in space for people to come fix their bikes, learn mechanics, and build their own rides. Big into used parts and recycling. Has a big bike trailer so he can haul stuff around. 
Maxon: Owns a fancy, extremely expensive bike shop. Doesn't see the value of anyone who rides bikes if they don't wear lycra and their bike doesn't cost at least 2k. Thinks bike lanes belong to whoever can ride the fastest. No one likes him.
Father: Developer of self-driving cars. Hates bike lanes and fun.
Kellogg: Lobbyist for the self-driving car industry and thinks bike lanes are the reason Boston traffic sucks. Likes fun but hates when anyone else has it.

Or perhaps you have purchased a prebuilt electric bike or electric scooter but find it extremely underpowered and the batteries run flat before you reach your destination.
Well I am about to change the way you think about electric bikes!
My name is Greg Davey, better know as the “Mad Scientist” by friends and family even though I have no electrical or engineering background. I, like many of you, decided I wanted a better form of transportation.
I wanted to save money on gas and reduce my carbon footprint. Sitting in my car for up to an hour stuck in traffic each day for a drive that should only take 15 minutes was not acceptable anymore.
You may be wondering what makes me an expert in electric bikes. Well back in 2005 I spent several weeks researching electric bikes on the internet and decided to built one using an old mountain bike I had.
I purchased all the parts I needed from a local ebike store and had the bike up and running in a few days.The first time I took it out for a test ride I almost crashed because the bike handled so bad. It was several days before I got used to it.
I eventually managed to ride the bike to work but it handled terrible at speeds over 20MPH.
The brakes all but stopped working when they became wet, the power would turn on and off randomly because of poor connectors and the batteries quickly drained slowing the bike barely getting me home.
I even had to push the bike home several times because something failed.
This bike was very scary to ride because it was so unstable but I used it for over a year until the batteries finally packed it in.
I loved the idea of riding an electric bike to work because it was cost effective and I avoided all the traffic but it needed some dramatic improvements.
I went back to the drawing board and painstakingly researched bicycle geometry, suspension forks, batteries, battery management systems, motors, controllers, and any other parts I would need to build the ultimate electric bike.
Then I started testing different bike parts and electrical components picking the ones that worked the best and assembled them from the ground up building the perfect electric bike.
I now have a 100% electric vehicle that I use as a replacement for my car. Not only do I get to work faster than it used to take me to drive, it only costs me pennies a day to recharge the bike.
  The electric bike works so well I decided to sell my car which gave me $13,000 cash in my pocket on top of the $1,200 I saved on car insurance.
The only downside of riding the electric bike, if you can call it that, is the bike is an incredible attention magnet. Everywhere I ride people are constantly stopping me to ask questions about it.
On my very first test ride after building the new bike I pulled over to the side of the road after 15 minutes of riding. A few minutes later a city works vehicle pulled up beside me and came to a screeching stop in the middle of the road.
Two city workers with stunned looks on their faces jumped out and ran over to me. They said I passed them several kilometers back and they just had to find out what I was riding.
They were blown away by the bike and immediatley starting asking questions about it so they could build their own.
After an overwhelming number of similar requests from people who stop and ask me about the bike I decided to document the entire build of this awesome electric bicycle in my brand new ebook called

Croatia-based Greyp Bikes has been building some of the world’s most technologically advanced e-bikes for years, and this afternoon in Croatia, the partnership officially launched its US operations. The launch in the US was announced via a special livestream from the company’s headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia.
Launch of US Operations
Greyp has been shipping bikes to customers in the US since April 1st out of its beachhead warehouse in the Los Angeles area and is already looking to expand to a more robust centralized operations base in the near future. The bikes themselves will still be assembled by Rimac’s team of ebike experts in Croatia and Greyp expects to be able to fill all orders within about a week.
Much like the iPhone’s revolution of mobile phones and Tesla’s reimagining of the in-car user experience, Greyp’s ebikes represents the realization of an electric bike supercharged with technology. The Greyp G6 is a fantastic e-bike, but it is the technology that truly sets it apart. Greyp’s Chief Operating Officer Kresimir Hlede said that 80% of Greyp’s overall R&D budget goes into software and technology, highlighting just how important the digital world is to Greyp.
Real World Gamification
This technology offers many ways to completely transform the riding experience for existing bike riders as well as opening up the segment to a completely new segment of previously untapped customers. The integration of a heart rate monitor to the bike, for instance, can be used to dynamically level the playing field for a group of riders with varying levels of experience.
For the experienced riders in the group with better conditioning, the bike system is able to dynamically throttle down the assistance from the electric motor to account for their more powerful legs. Conversely, riders with less conditioning and experience on bikes would get more assistance to hedge against their lower conditioning.
Gamification adds a completely new vector for people to not only enjoy the bike, but to work out as they compete against their friends on a more level, connected playing field.
Integrated Telematics & Video
The onboard, connected Linux-powered computer that keeps everything humming along on the Greyp G6, thanks in part to its free integrated data service from T-Mobile. Data service is included with the purchase for the life of the bike and provides connectivity between your smartphone and the bike in more than 100 countries around the world, including the US.
The computer and smart programming from the Greyp team enables realtime video streaming from the front and rear camera, tracking of the bike via its integrated GPS, remote disabling of the bike, and much more. Greyp believes the software is the key to unlocking a completely new world of potential in the world of electric bikes and by all measures, they are leading the charge.
Supercharged Roots
Greyp is a weird name, right? Founder Mate Rimac said that many customers in the US pronounce the name wrong, so let’s clear that up first. It’s pronounced just like grapes. Simple. The Croatian ebike company spun off as the unlikely progeny of Mate Rimac’s Rimac Automobili and the DIY performance electric bike makers at Greyborg.
The two began talking in a push to see if there was an opportunity to share technology between the electric bikes built by Greyborg and the electric supercars built by the team at Rimac. The partnership initially resulted in a beast mode e-bike powered by Rimac’s electronics and Greyborg’s e-bike smarts that stretched the platform to the extreme. It clearly wasn’t legal, but the exercise opened their eyes to the potential for a street legal electric bike that could take the category to the next level.
Greyp was started and soon after, the G12 was born. The Greyp G6 took the learnings from the G12 to the next level in a refined full suspension mountain bike package. On top of the core electric bike tech, the software and integrated connected computer take the bike to the next level.
