so we all agree that Alec's the main antagonist now, right?

definitely. he's pulling all the strings right now.

the main villains right now are:

fiore. a very, very strong player in season 1, fiore is now unable to strategize and manipulate as well as she previously did, everyone now knowing her shenanigans. she cannot make any bargains... but hunter and ally seem to be willing to work for her. a possible plotline that will be tended to later.

ellie. after messing up the girls alliance, the focus wasn't on ellie all that much this episode. however, we did see tess comforting aiden - will tess turn on gabby and ellie, especially ellie? right now, ellie is in almost no position to win, and desperately needs the villains alliance.

yul. the worst ever, but let's ignore that for a second... and he's still the worst ever. he had an early elimination and everyone knows just how much of a loser he is. without grett, he wouldn't survive a day. which brings me to her.

grett. dependent on yul, but according to my theory on my last post, she might have voted for him, which is incredibly interesting to see. i believe grett will have an important role in the story very soon once this is addressed - which has to be sooner rather than later, since yul is gunning for connor, thinking he voted for him. it's clear that the writers want us to believe grett or riya voted for yul, because they clearly showed us connor didn't.

riya. she's smart, but very, very cocky. her entire plotline revolves around connor. she is disliked by everyone but him, and yul called her what should be classified as a slur, so she's got that going for her.

but alec... now, alec's the great deal here. alec has everyone wrapped around his finger. with miriam gone, grett choosing to vote with him rather than against him and by extention so did yul, fiore clearly by his side, and ellie and riya agreeing as well, alec is the main deal. he's the one pulling the strings, and will be until one of the annoying heroes swoops in - - but when? when will they do that? when jake and tom stop ignoring each other or, at best, fighting? when ally and hunter finally communicate? when connor finds allies? when tess retalliates against ellie and gabby? when aiden, tom and jake work together? it is terrifying just how much power alec holds in the game right now. if the writers don't play some bullshit hErOeS aLwAyS wIn!111!!11! tHe MaGiC oF fRiEnDsHiP and if they write him well, he will play his cards right and make it far, far, FAR. and i cannot wait to watch him burn the world :3
