Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers is currently very cheap to buy a physical copy of on 3DS (even factory sealed!) and very good, I highly recommend it!

Dillons Dead Heat Breakers (3DS)

TF your Mii into an animal and run a freelance defense force against invading rock aliens. Your partner is Dillon, who never speaks, and sleeps on the couch in your shared hotel room. You run a store between missions.

Tetrastar The Fighter (Famicom)

Graphically impressive famicom game where you fly through space and shoot down graphically impressive enemies. Sprite scaling and sense of motion are really good. There's cutscenes. Theres a scene where your robot dog buddy takes a bullet for you and you send him out in a space coffin.

Phantom Crash (Xbox)

Mech game with incredible music by independant artists. Armored Core meets JSRF. The menu style can not be beat. The dialog between characters and AI is incredible. Game is like a faked online multiplayer arena you drop in and out of while building up your mech. You can make mixtapes to play during combat

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter (NDS)

Furry "Castle in the sky" with cute characters. There's a wholly built out and terrible racing minigame. Combat is picking up and throwing enemies in a robot.

The Bell For Whom The Frog Tolls (GB)

A game where you wander around an island getting into whacky hijinks as you get transformed back and forth between frog, snake, and human forms. platforming. breaks the fourth wall a lot.

An aching wisdom tooth has made concentrating on doodling difficult. So I ended up replaying one of my favorite 3DS games and remembered why I prefer armadillos over hedgehogs. X'D

Kidding, of course, Sonic fans. Please don't come after me.

So, context(and slight spoilers): one of the ongoing "side stories" is why Dillon chooses to sleep on the bench instead of in a bed. Being that the hotel room only has two beds, the answer seems to be quite obvious. But Russ(the Tails of the group) insists that it's because Dillon's spikes would tear up the bedding. But your mii character figures out that it's not the case, and Dillon is such a good big brother. ❤️
