Jazz is about 6 years older than Danny in this AU. I wanted her to be in college or in this case, an apprenticeship program. Her class is a Wizard, particularly from the Order of Scribes. Their orders "primary mission is the same everywhere: recording magical discoveries so that wizardry can flourish". I changed it slightly, where Jazz doesn't talk to her spell book. Instead, she has Sir Bearbert E. and technically Sir Bearbert is the book given physical form.
Her relationship with Danny is that of an older sibling trying to be the younger parent. However, she secretly never wanted a younger brother, because she felt like he took all the attention, little though it may be, away from her. Not to mention that she was deemed old enough to care for him by her parents. This reasoning is why she is so distraught over her "Uncle" Vlad. He was her mentor, someone who always gave her attention and praise. Little did she know that he was hoping she would get the powers Danny eventually gets. When Danny did start showcasing his powers and Vlad went to him...she hated her brother. It's only when she goes away to school and is able to separate herself from her family does she realizes it is not her fault or Danny's. It's through her Order that she learns about their family history and thusly Vlad.
Here's a collection of Flora sketches of different designs! In order, there's:
@ballwizard's Gentleman's Teabreak Flora
@deadinsideart's older Flora
@splashzix's NWoS Flora
@the-river-of-light's fancy dress Flora
@shittyclive's Flora with bugs
@magicwhiskers29 (My) Autumn disguise Flora
@magicwhiskers29 (Also my) Older adventurer Flora (new for this, so no link!)
@the-river-of-light's LMJ-era Flora
For a few notes on my new adventurer Flora, this is an idea for her maybe 8-10 years post-UF? She's taken a lot from Emmy, and is now off on her own adventures!
there is no real meaningful distinction between Art and Craft, however i personally can only do the type of Art that is also extremely Craft. i need to make physical things with my hands and use tools and manipulate little objects and hoard all the specialized knives. otherwise i will start biting.
A little something I've been working on. (Click for better quality)
This is B-Side Verse!
B-Side Verse is an alternate multiverse where small seemingly inconsequential things are different. This leads to different personalities, different designs, and different relationships.
This is Scribe, the B-Side version of Ink.
- In B-Side, Ink is a writer instead of an artist. So, instead of Broomy, Scribe uses a large fountain pen instead.
- Instead of vials of paint, Scribe uses small inkwells stored on a separate belt around his waist. Since ink is much thinner than paint, Scribe's inkwells offer less potent and more simplified emotions compared to Ink's paint vials.
- These more simple emotions mean that Scribe's eyelight color changes, but they do not change shape.
- Scribe is still forgetful, only less so. Being less emotional means he gets distracted less and remembers more, but he can still be forgetful at times. Scribe keeps all important notes inside the notebook on his shoulder strap.
- Since Scribe keeps his inkwells on a separate strap, his shoulder strap houses his knife-pens. These pens can simultaneously be used as throwing knifes as well as actual pens Scribe writes with. After they are thrown, they will melt into ink and return back to Scribe unless something prevents them from doing so.
- Scribe doesn't feel much, even with his inkwells, so he's very distant towards his comrades. Scribe acts more like a commander or boss towards the other "good" sanses than a friend. People respect and fear him, no one is really friends with him. Scribe doesn't smile a lot.
- Scribe's fighting style is a lot different as well. Scribe more or less uses his fountain pen as a large spear or knife; trying to stab and cut down opponents as fast as possible. Scribe is also a lot more ruthless, he is fully willing to greatly injure opponents if it means stopping them. Some see this force as unnecessary and cruel, while others believe all of Scribe's opponents had it coming. "That's just what happens when you try to go against the Creator, you're signing your own death warrant."
If you have any questions about B-Side, don't hesitate to shoot me an ask :D.
Lil fantasy birb who, after sacrificing itself for its best friend, got brought back and blessed with intelligence and speech (and long life as an accidental side effect). Since then, all that birb's descendents have shared in the blessing.
Their design is based off of several birds in the Amazon, as a tribute to where I grew up (sonhaçu, bem-te-vi, and bico-de-lacre comum) (plus hummingbird colors).
this is my random progen. what he looks like currently with and without outfit, plus a potential scry. he is blood / brown / maize (my custom is emerald / avocado / maize, their children are very ugly). i am attached to his grumpy appearance, as well as blood pinstripe / maize ghost, but i also love chaos.
a commision for a friend of his half-orc wizard scribe.
timelapse aswell, and as u can probably see on that, i made so many redos, and revisiones etc i started this thing at the beginning of the year and i've just been burnt out on art most of the year, so the entire process drained my soul ngl ;-;
Krita sketch from 2021, part of a worldbuilding thing I keep tinkering with on and off again. This specific image (which I procrastinated on for a while) was intended to imitate a specific style of painting from some early time period, but I couldn't remember what it was for the life of me.

The name Tinovano T'hailuuno (literally ''Mountain's Melody", or "Mountain Songbird") is the given name attributed to a certain author in Vita-Ra ancient history.
She was likely native to the north of Kunee Harak'di (Eocene-epoch India), or at least educated in the city nations there. Most of her writing concerns documentation of the far northern continent (Eurasia) and the peoples that dwelled there, particular the illiterate yet metallurgically skilled "Moon-faced" predecessors of the Lunak'-Rha tribes. Copies of texts attributed to this author are likely some of the most well-preserved artifacts of the Pre-Modern millennia.
Whether or not Tinovano T'hailuuno was a single individual or multiple is something of scholarly debate (both names and careers tended to be passed down through a family lineage in this time and place). If a sole individual, the author was likely of brown plumage and possibly striped, as most Vita-Ra around the Tethys Ocean exhibited that phenotype at the time.
