Milano, le iniziative del Comune per l’8 marzo.
Milano Città delle Donne. Domani, mercoledì 8 marzo, e nei prossimi giorni, Milano celebrerà la Giornata Internazionale della Donna con numerose iniziative, dal centro ai quartieri grazie alla collaborazione tra Comune, enti, musei e i nove municipi.
Tutti gli appuntamenti sono visibili nella sezione dedicata.
Tra gli eventi principali, l’inaugurazione del Parco 8 Marzo, nell’area dell’ex stazione di Porta Vittoria che si terrà domani alla presenza del sindaco Giuseppe Sala. Una nuova area verde con percorsi ciclopedonali, giochi per i più piccoli con spazi e tavoli per la socialità di tutto il quartiere. La cerimonia inizierà e si chiuderà con due poesie di Antonia Pozzi lette dall’attrice e regista, Elisabetta Vergani.
Venerdì 10 marzo ci sarà l’ingresso gratuito nei musei civici per tutte le donne. Il Comune propone un percorso di opere d’arte dedicate all’universo femminile in musei, case museo, al Monumentale e al Castello Sforzesco. In particolare, i musei coinvolti e a ingresso gratuito per le donne saranno: Museo del Novecento, Gam-Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Casa Museo Boschi di Stefano, Palazzo Morando, Mudec Museo delle Culture, Museo Archeologico, Museo del Risorgimento e il Cimitero Monumentale museo a cielo aperto.
È già on line il rinnovato sito di toponomastica al femminile, che ha in copertina un’immagine tratta dal murales cittadino dedicato alla poetessa Alda Merini. La pagina “le vie delle donne” (accesso dal sito Milano-città-delle-donne), realizzato dal Settore toponomastica del Comune, raggruppa in un unico itinerario le vie, le piazze, i monumenti e le pietre di inciampo (ricordo delle deportate nei campi di concentramento) dedicate alle donne. Milano ha la tradizione di intestare vie e luoghi cittadini alle donne; dal 2017 ci si è dati l'obiettivo del riequilibrio di genere nelle intestazioni, per rendere, anche simbolicamente, Milano città di donne e uomini. Conoscere le biografie delle donne a cui sono intestate vie, piazze, monumenti, giardini, passeggiate e pietre di inciampo è un modo per non dimenticare e per rinnovare anche così l’impegno al riconoscimento della parità.
Le altre iniziative interesseranno ambiti diversi: arte e storia cittadina, cinema e teatro, medicina e psicologia, giurisprudenza, diritti, pari opportunità e di genere.
Di seguito alcuni degli appuntamenti tratti dal programma:
• Camminata “Conoscere le donne di Milano”
Il 10 marzo alle ore 11 partirà una camminata valorizzare le donne che hanno fatto grande Milano. Saranno percorse alcune vie cittadine ricordando non solo coloro cui è intitolato il luogo, ma ricordando le tante donne che nelle diverse discipline hanno contribuito alla realizzazione della nostra città e del nostro Paese. Parteciperanno la delegata del Sindaco Elena Lattuada, la Presidente del Consiglio Comunale, Elena Buscemi, le assessore Arianna Censi, Elena Grandi e Gaia Romani, la presidente della Commissione Pari Opportunità e Diritti Diana De Marchi e le consigliere Alice Arienta, Simonetta D'Amico, Roberta Osculati, Marzia Pontone, Natascia Tosoni, Angelica Vasile e Claudia Buccellati dell'Associazione Pietre di Inciampo.
• Conversazione su "Gender G.ap nel mondo scientifico"
Il 10 marzo alle ore 18.30, alla ex Fornace Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 16, Assunta Sarlo conversa con Adriana Albini, responsabile del Laboratorio di Biologia Vascolare e Angiogenesi dell’IRCCS MultiMedica, Direttore Scientifico della Fondazione MultiMedica Onlus e considerata dalla BBC una delle cento donne più influenti del mondo.
• 8 marzo negli Istituti Penitenziari
L'Amministrazione Comunale, come ogni anno, nella giornata dell'8 marzo, donerà la mimosa alle detenute e al personale femminile della Casa Circondariale S. Vittore, delle Case di Reclusione di Opera e Bollate, dell'Istituto Penale Minorile Beccaria e dell'Istituto a custodia attenuata per detenute madri (ICAM)....

Worst dressed goes to Rachel Weisz, Julianne Moore, Layra Dern, Anne Hathaway, Maya Rudolph, Rami Mlek, Molly Sims and Heidi Klum. I was so happy for winners like The Americans (highlight of the evening!!!), Regina King, Lady Gaga, Mahershala Ali, Patricia Clarkson, Darren Criss, Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malek, Olivia Colman and Green Book. The Cecil B. DeMille award went to Jeff Bridges. The new Carol Burnett award started off with Carol herself. I was saddened that Bill Hader, Henry Winkler, Kieran Culkin, Keri Russell and Sacha Baron Cohen went home empty handed. The Fiji water girl got most of the press and gave much free advertising to her product. Some of the stars did not like her getting in their shots to push a product without their knowledge, both a clever and sad state of affairs.

Best dressed were Amy Adams, Yara Shahidi, Brian Tyree Henry, Sydelle Noel, Eddie Griffin, Holly Taylor, Sofia Hubitz, Emma Stone, Emily Blunt, Darren Criss, Laverne Cox, Timothee Chalamet, Robin Wright, Lily Tomlin, Chadwick Boseman, Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell, and Catherine Zeta Jones. The WTF award goes to Alison Brie.
***** The Oscar race is on. Best picture could go to Blank Panther, Blackkklansman, Roma, The Favourite, Green Book, Vice, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star is born. Black Panther also got some love for music and costume design. Fingers crossed for Isle of Dogs in the animated category. Actor nods had a few surprises. Willem Dafoe and Rami Malek , Lady Gaga and Melissa McCarthy are up for leads and supporting mentions are for Mahershala Ali, Regina King, Adam Driver and Sam Elliott. I am so hopeful for Spike Lee and I want to hear that speech.

Hommage à la Chine
- Wu Qi Dao
De janvier à mai dernier, en vue du festival d’Annecy, j’ai travaillé au générique Wu Qi Dao aux côtés de Jules Bourgès, Nathan Harbonn Viaud, Antoine Vignon et Benjamin Warnitz pour l’image, ainsi que Diana Buscemi et Anne De Boysson pour la musique.
On y présente des extraits de vie d’une jeune interne de 9 ans dans une école de kung fu, rêvant de devenir championne pour s’en sortir.

Odeya Rush as Donna Troy, Steve Buscemi as Hades, Charlize Theron as Veronica Cale or Cheetah
Interesting ideas. Odeya Rush could be a good Donna Troy although I’ll admit that my ideal choice for the role is Emeraude Toubia because I like her in Shadowhunters and because, at the risk of sounding shallow, she looks EXACTLY like Donna. Though I do think it would be kind of cool to have Donna and Diana both played by Israeli actresses and I hope she would get to use a similar accent if she did play the role.
Steve Buscemi is worth watching in anything and he could be a good Hades. He can be a great dramatic actor when he needs to be as seen in Boardwalk Empire.
Charlize Theron would be amazing as Veronica Cale who is someone I hope to see used at some point. She’d also be a great Cheetah. I also think Angelina Jolie could be great in either role as she’s someone I’d love to see in the sequel and DCEU in general.
