Watching the Critical Role Daggerheart character creation on 1.25 speed to try and catch up in time for the livestream. I got through the first 40 minutes (at normal speed) while walking around, buying lunch and getting the bus home. I absolutely do not have time for the rest but I'm deciding to delide myself a bit and say its possible.
Random thoughts:
Loving the girl table, with Travis wishing he was anywhere else.
Liam's Irish voice is so much harder to understand while sped up.
Book of sex!!!
"Are you Gale now?"
I'm so excited Marisha is playing a bard. She showed so much potential in the daringtong brigade one shot and this feels like its going to be even better
Plus 1 resting bitch face
Laura's purple nails are so pretty
Loving them trying out their voices, especially Laura's

Killing His Darling
A bit of post-canon Ascended Astarion fic HERE on Ao3 with my drow bard Tav, Zynatheri. cw: murder, mind games, sexual coercion, toxic relationships
...
The grand, gilded doors of their bedroom were open, the fireplace blazing, her dinner still warm at the fireside.  Zynatheri stared at the tray, irritated by the stupid frivolity of it, the idiotic, fancy meals he insisted on.  All she wanted was a bowl of stew and some fresh bread, but no.  Instead if was course after course of tiny dishes, delicate ones, irritating in their decorative uselessness.  Just like how Astarion wanted her to be.
Except if she was, he’d be bored of her and throw her away.
If she didn’t do anything, didn’t react to his provocation, he’d be as angry as he would be if she’d thrown a monumental fit.
Very well.
Approaching the pair of seats at the fireside, his massive leather one, her daybed with the blue and silver brocade, she reached down between them and took the silver tray off of the table.  Turning around, carrying it in both hands, she paced back to the door.  Ignoring the maid’s call of concern, she drifted back out to the colonnade, footsteps silent, and approached the railing again.  There was a new course being laid on the grand table below.
Ah, a soup.  Excellent.  She hoped he got burned.
Without even a flutter of feeling in her chest, she leaned over the railing that dug into her ribs, and threw the tray as hard as she could.  It arced downwards, dishes clashing, delidding, gem-like liquids gleaming as they formed arcs and droplets in the air.  In her vision it froze for a moment, a beautiful piece of art, and then it all came crashing down.
The tray didn’t hit the table, but plenty of other things did, a shriek from below sounding out as a porcelain bowl of spiced nuts and exotic fruits crashed into the faker’s soup, sending it spattering into her face.  Hopefully she burned.  Perhaps if she had looked more like Zynatheri she would have been less offended– how dare he pretend he was content with such a poor imitation.
Even the cacophony didn’t break through the tomb around her heart, but the sight of demi-glace all over the front of Astarion’s pristine doublet did amuse her, coldly.
Irritated, but somehow still smug, he reached out a hand without looking in her direction.  A servant dropped a handkerchief into his hand, and he began daubing at his chest, ignoring the shrieking woman.  “Well, it seems someone’s in a–”
As his eyes shifted up to meet hers, the smile on his lips died, a look of shock overtaking him.  Refusing to be cowed, she held her place, returning stare for stare, no mask on, no theatrical emotions for him to enjoy.  She wasn’t upset.  Astarion’s disbelief turned to outrage.
“How dare you look at me like that!?”
His voice echoed like a cleric behind an altar, trying to call down the wrath of a god.
But he thought he was the god, and her the worshiper.

Right, the waist in that X-ray is UNDENIABLE. How do these freaks function in the wild? The level at which they will delide themselves and try to delude others is astonishing. Louis really is just a joke to them, a punchline in thier psychotic fanfictions.
and to think that may have been part of the reason Louis posted the X-rays to begin with
but some of them really think Louis would fly to latam to watch Harry in the shadows instead of staying home and recovering in time for his own signings and shows. like???

Intel Core i9-14900K Unleashed : Revolutionary 13C Cooler
Tumblr media
Delidded Intel Core i9-14900K CPU Running 13C Cooler, Same IHS & TIM Design As 13th Gen
The delidding of the Core i9-14900K by hardware enthusiast Der8auer has finally been completed, and the results indicate a significant increase in thermal performance.
The delidding process for Intel’s Core i9-14900K CPU is Getting Easier, Which Also Results In Better Temperatures.
A short review of what “delidding” a CPU truly entails is in order before we continue with this discussion. This method entails removing the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) and replacing it with a “premium” kind of thermal paste, such as liquid metal.
In addition, the IHS must be removed. Now, what this accomplishes is that it improves the contact area of your cooling solution with the onboard CPU die, which ultimately results in a decrease in temperatures by at least 15–20 percent. However, this is only applicable to a certain category of customers, namely those who are disturbed by high temperatures or who are interested in testing the performance boundaries of their CPUs.
Now, our very own Der8auer has used a “prototype” delid toolbox for Intel’s 13th-Gen CPUs. This toolkit is fundamentally comparable to the one that is offered by Thermal Grizzly. The process of delidding calls for a certain set of steps to be taken. And as was to be predicted, the Intel 13th Generation “Raptor Lake Refresh” doesn’t offer many modifications in terms of IHS.
This is due to the fact that there isn’t a significant generational difference in the sizes of the separate dies. One thing that has changed, however, is the greater temperatures that are produced as a direct consequence of the additional wattage that is associated with the increased clock frequencies, as was mentioned in this evaluation of the product.
Next, Der8auer conducts further tests, such as measuring the height difference between the die and the PCB, so that he can evaluate the new generation in relation to earlier iterations. In addition, it was discovered after measuring the height difference between separate layers of IHS that Intel had allegedly left out a 0.3mm gap. This space makes it possible to apply liquid metal without making any physical alterations such as clipping the IHS out.
The first testing of the “delidded” Intel Core i9-14900K CPU found that the P-Cores witnessed a reduction in temperature of 10 degrees, and this was even without a contact frame. In addition, the temperature of the E-cores dropped by 8 degrees Celsius, which is consistent with what you would anticipate in typical circumstances as well. On the other hand, mounting the CPU with a contact frame, which is a tool that optimises the contact pressure, resulted in a larger temperature decrease, while the difference was modest but contributed to a 13C decline overall.
The simplicity of the procedure is the part that astounds both us and Der8auer, considering that, in his opinion, it was destined to be unsuccessful. Even while there hasn’t been a change in the underlying architecture to make the “delidding” method more straightforward, Der8auer points out that the issue could be isolated to his particular instance of the Intel Core i9-14900K CPU. In spite of this, the findings were rather fascinating.
