Clue: "MmmMm-hmMmm." An audio clip is played of a high-pitched voice, which appeared to have been slowed down and stripped of the original instrumental backing for the pair to decipher.

His eyebrows furrow when he rewinds the audio several times, utter confusion etching above his brow during the second run through through of the clip. It was the fourth episode and the production team was determined to position another framed picture of his face on the "Hall of Lame" before the show came to an end. He had spoken about his trust issues before introducing Minjae to the viewers, albeit jokingly but he was starting to wonder if he should have prepared for his show to be the ultimate humiliation rather than his proudest achievement. Besides, he wanted to be a decent host and he would rather his face go up on the "Hall of Lame" than his guest, especially Minjae who he adored.

"Time out." Noeul lowers the portable speaker to stare behind the camera, playfully glaring at the P.D. who was hiding his smile with the cue card. "Is this another set up?" His moment of protest elicits a series of laughter from the team, reverberating behind the camera as he turns to glance over at the younger man. He presses play one more time, allowing for the clip to finish before he continues his whining. "What do you say, Minjae? Isn't this unfair?"

His features brighten with a mischievous grin, gently nudging Minjae on the side. "What do you say about us both guessing the song together? If we get it right, we get a point each, but if we get it wrong, our P.D. will dance or sing the answer to us." Behind the camera, members of the team were cheering for Minjae to agree to Noeul's impromptu challenge for P.D.

DAEBAK SHIDAE ANNOUNCES POST ENLISTMENT PLANS; TO SET UP THEIR OWN AGENCY

Finally, the countdown to popular idol group, DAEBAK SHIDAE, military enlistment's completion has begun! Back in 2023 the 6 members of the group enlisted at the same time, and their hiatus has since then left a void felt throughout the industry. For several months now, the public and industry insiders alike have been very interested in the group's future.

Today, on APRIL 1, a LEGACY entertainment spokesperson has confirmed that the 6 members of the group would not renew their contract with the company. but do not fret; the company and the group's ties will not be broken! It has been announced that CHOI DAEHYUN will set up a new SUB-LABEL under the company where the group and the 5 other members will be moved! This new sub-label, named USGEN ENTERTAINMENT, is set to function similarly to LGC Agency.

USGEN ENT.'s has been set up by DBSD with the goal of supporting its talents into setting today's trends artistically. With this in mind, the label has also revealed to be working on a successor to DBSD to be introduced to the public through the project NEWKIDS NEWDREAMS.

We look forward to future updates and news of USGEN ENT., DBSD and NKND.

a reminder on side-events; they are non-mandatory occasional events that your muse can choose to participate in or not.

HALLOWEEK definitely feels different without DBSD around; indeed, since legacy's very own princes of mischief are compeleting their military service, there's NO HELL WEEK this year. one might still be surprised by a fake skeleton hanging behind a closed door, or by a fake ghost hidden in a bathroom stall - gracious pranks from the staff - but nothing on the scale of what the boys have put the company through in the previous years. 

LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT HALLOWEEN PARTY even if the atmosphere within the walls of the company are different this year, on the week of OCTOBER 16, every trainee and artist of the company still receive an invitation to LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT’S YEARLY COSTUMED HALLOWEEN PARTY. since halloween falls on a tuesday, the event will be hosted on OCTOBER 28. everyone’s schedule, besides FABULA, will be clear from 12PM to leave time for preparations.

the festivities will begin around 8pm and end at 3am. servers will be passing through the venue during the entire evening with finger foods and non-alcoholic drinks. a dj will be in charge of music, while a host will hold different events during the night ( examples include a dance contest, noraebang battle, and more ) and will crown the person with the best costume!

every year, legacy is known to host the biggest marketing event on that one day. brands compete ferociously to be the one that the company chooses! this year, it’s none other than PASSION 5 that won the bid. since the press, lgc staff and higher ups and passion 5 representatives will also be present on the scene, trainees, actors, models, and idols alike are reminded to have fun but still keep it professional !

additionally, on the day of the party, every attendee will be invited to walk the SUGAR GLAZE CARPET to enter the venue and visit the GINGERBREAD VILLAGE for some fun!

SUGAR GLAZE CARPET

following last year's new addition of a red carpet, PASSION 5 has decided to put their own spin to it! just like the previous year professional photographers and 200 lucky legacy fans will get to see the trainees and artists arrivals in person ! once at the venue, another surprise awaits everybody; to gain access to the party room, legacy's roster will have to find 3 edible decorations in the CANDY HALL. the audience, who will be not allowed inside, will get to see their guesses and reactions through a large HD screen set up right outside the venue !

( tw: food ) the entrance hall of the venue's decoration will be inspired by hansel and gretel's candyhouse, with predominantly orange colors with some touch of brown and black. there will be a distinct path to roam through the room. each individual will have to pick 3 items they think are edible and then head to the door to the next room where they will be asked to bite in their items to figure out if they are edible or just decoration! until they have found 3 edible items, they cannot enter the party.

( important note: only up to TWO people can arrive at the same time. pairs can be idols in the same permanent group; models and actors of the same gender; trainees from the same project (lgs girls and lgc spring boys); and trainees of the same gender. )

GINGERBREAD VILLAGE

upon entering the room where the actual party is held, attendees will notice right away a large podium set up right in the middle. on it, set up on a large table, is a GINGERBREAD VILLAGE. upon closer inspection, its clear that only the fondations of the village are there (and for those who dare trying, said foundations aren't actually gingerbread and not edible). it will be up to the attendees to decorate the village and make it splendid ! a variety of (fake) candies, glazing and more will be available for them to use. mini cameras set up around and inside the village for footage to be used on passion 5’s social media accounts !

the village will then be on display in various passion 5 shops until january 2024.

( important note: up to TWO people can pair up for this activity, without gender or occupation restriction, however, make sure to keep it professional! it’s up to you if the two muses got assigned randomly or decided to do the task together )

being backstage while the other girl groups performed was always fun. somin's been a legacy fan since dbsd debuted, so she's been following them closely since then, and despite debuting in a group under legacy herself, it's never stopped her from still following all of the new releases.

also being at everland is just fun.

"unnie, have you been to everland before?" somin asks, half paying attention to the performers and half just wanting to chat, having turned to the crystallis member closest to her. she fiddles with her necklace for a little bit, trying to think of what ride she wants to go on the most once they're allowed (mostly) free(ish) reign on the park afterwards.

"do you think they'll let me go on t-express?" she asks, having been very interested in the wooden rollercoaster. she's a self-proclaimed not-scaredy-cat and had been wondering if this would be scary, considering she's never been on a rollercoaster before but she's also not afraid of heights.

Compared to last year’s family concert, this one is decidedly less wet. Probably because DBSD are in the military, but that doesn’t mean Parker can still say he’s having a good time, smiling and waving at the sea of fans. A part of him keeps forgetting that this is his first family concert as an official member of Type Zero. It had all been a blur last year, but when he really thinks he remembers how he was still competing for his own path in Future Dreams. That thought makes him chuckle to himself, even as he crouches down to wave a fan who has a sign just for him. He’s still in Future Dreams, but he’s considered an alumni of the series because even if he didn’t win season five, he still was allowed to debut. The world is wild. 

Standing back up, Parker continues to mouth along to the song, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet as he walks, until he notices a somewhat familiar back in front of him. Grinning wildly he bounds forward and almost jumps as he winds his arm around the neck of Jinseo. “Put your hands up, hyung!” he prompts, lifting his free arm and letting it bounce along to the music. “Do you know the choreo?” He adds earnestly.

"Do you think we should prank our managers?" Soyoun says to Somin, who is probably one of the members who'd appreciate this comment. Turning to the cameras, she adds, "For legal reasons, this is a joke." She pauses before she smiles. "Unless we have permission from the PDs and won't get punished for it?" She gives them her most angelic smile, the one that wins her things on other variety shows. If DBSD can get away with this, she hopes that she can keep their legacy alive in some way. But she isn't sure the company would like that.

Honestly, she's just saying anything to get them more screentime while trying to get the members to not think of their current accommodations at this point. "I wonder which of our managers is also scared of ghosts, especially Eunjo unnie. I've never seen her bothered by absolutely anything. But it'll be hard to get past her because she's such a light sleeper..." Turning back to Somin, she says, "Do you think Nahee unnie is the type to be scared of ghosts?"

Hello, journal. ( And to the coach or staff assessing my entry. )

Everything has been going well for far but all the extra dance practice and the more physically demanding volunteer work has only made me realize how unfit I truly am... It has been years since I bothered playing any sports. I must have let myself go a bit, aha. Anyway, I've made decent progress on my dancing so far. My style is pretty non-existent but my friend who helped me before said I have a good bounce to my step. I think I've found that I'm suited more to fresh and energetic songs, despite my personality. Dancing to some Haru and Versus songs have been very challenging. I want to be someone who knows a little bit of everything. I already know every song so it was at least fun to quiz people on their knowledge. I'm shocked that some trainees still don't seem to know much about our seniors. Surely I don't know all of their achievements ( since there are so many ) but I recognize their faces and names. My experience memorizing things about groups outside the company has paid off! I think I should probably say my favorite group is BLAZing since I love girl groups but Crystallis took their place easily so far. I also like DBSD. I'm a fan of their sound. I really like the songs Wow and Butterfly... However, I am still thinking a lot about what happened during volunteering. Was that girl really a ghost? My coat I gave her was gone and I still have the keychain she gave me. Anyway, I still have been finding tiny pieces of coal in my shoes... Ah, I should probably talk about something else... But I'm not exactly good with my words. If I use the rest of this entry as filler to fill up the rest of the page will you be upset with me? Well, I just like it when things are nice and even and I've been told that my handwriting is irritatingly small. I think it's fine though? Maybe it's just because of the lens prescription I have. Okay, the page is almost all the way done. Goodbye for now.

hyunhee wishes desperately that instead of trying to take a picture with DBSD’s seohan, it could have been one of the BLAZING girls. no matter, she’ll do as she’s told regardless, even if she’s not that pleased by it. if only she knew what the older idol looks like... the sole picture on the “wanted poster” isn’t enough.

MEET NOEUL 🖤

is a huge DBSD fan, but the real reason why he auditioned for Legacy Ent. was because his father dangled a PS4 in front of his face. 

Graduated from Hanlim Multi Art High School in 2020. Currently attending Kyunghee Cyber University and majoring in Post-Modern Music. He takes the bare minimum of classes to be considered full-time and procrastinates like no one else. 

He works part-time as a host at an up-scale restaurant his father manages. He had tried every position from dishwashing to being a busboy and a waiter. Let’s just say that not touching any plates is the best for everyone.

He is a typical middle child but he is very close with his older brother because of the short age difference. The two jokingly claim to be twins even though the two look nothing alike.  

Noeul is a very chaotic individual. He enjoys being a contrarian and debating everything and anything until the sun comes up. He loves being around people even if he’s not the center of attention. He always finds the perfect time to interject in conversations, or display his playful sense of humor. He is full of energy but having too many ideas has him unable to achieve all that he wants to do in a day. 

His first year at LGC was rocky. He didn’t take many of the lessons seriously and had a hard time focusing, but he has gradually found the lessons and workshops enjoyable to the point that he no longer stands in the back of the room and is an active participant. 

He doesn’t know if he wants to debut yet, but what he does know is that he wants to eventually be able to search up his name in KOMCA. He might be moving at a tortoise-like pace, but he wants to be an asset to the group that he debuts in rather than a weak link.

Friendships? He is actually a really good friend, but can be a bit insensitive at times (prioritizes rationality over emotions). So, even a friendship that is souring or has soured because of that will be fun to write. 

Calling all ‘Junior Morning Trainee Group’ trainees. Chances are Noeul either has vibed with, annoyed, or befriended your characters. 

Another fourth year trainee that Noeul can be competitive with for fun, of course!
