leaders, deputies and healers (redraw)
huge, and I mean MASSIVE infodump under the cut, watch out!!
LEADERS
Palestar (she/her), Leader of Stormclan - Palestar’s backstory is one shrouded in mystery. All that is known about her ascent to leadership is that she killed the previous Stormclan leader - Creekstar - who was known as a callous tyrant. Rumours ooze around the festering wound that Creekstar left in her clan, and whilst her fellow leaders are viciously curious about the events that lead to her annointment as leader, Palestar is thoroughly tight-lipped about it all.
Ouzelstar (he/him), Leader of Snowclan - A traditionalist and a shithead. Ouzelstar was a virulent warrior, intent on keeping his clan free from anything he believed would threaten the tradition that Snowclan had supposedly stood on for so many years. As leader, his cutthroat attitude has calmed a bit, mostly due to his fears over dividing his clan any further - though he is not above putting down cats he deems ‘lesser’, such as his deputy, Kestrel, whom he named Half-face.
Dapplestar, (he/him) Leader of Gladeclan - The oldest of the leaders and a gentle soul. Dapplestar has had the fortune of leading Gladeclan through many of its most comfortable seasons, and as such has adopted a very mellow outlook on life. His indecisive attitude has troubled them, however, when choosing deputies. After struggling for many moons with cats who wanted to abuse power and ignore duties (or those who were very obviously just waiting for him to keel over), he sought guidance from his ancestors. Lionsong was appointed deputy after Starclan named him as the future saviour of the clan. Knowing that a prophecy has named Lionsong as his successor, and confident in his abilities to lead, Dapplestar is ready to retire and live out the last of his days in the warmth of his clan.
Sandstar (they/them), Leader of Meadowclan - It is difficult to describe Sandstar without using the word ‘bitchy’. Taking their assessment at an exceptionally young age and then going on to become deputy and leader, Sandstar has earned the confidence and precedence they carry themselves with - not that it doesn’t annoy their fellow leaders somewhat. Despite all their pride and gumption, they regularly find themselves bored by the toils of leadership and often delegate their duties to their worrywart deputy, Ravenshine. They have two mates, Mothswoop and Appledawn.
DEPUTIES
Bluehaven (he/him), Stormclan’s Deputy - In the aftermath of Creekstar’s rule and Palestar’s rise to power, Stormclan was weakened and divided. In-fighting began to stir between those who supported and those who opposed Palestar’s leadership, and to quell this discord Palestar appointed Bluehaven, one of her most outspoken opposers, as deputy. Despite his objections to her leadership, Bluehaven was shaken by Palestar’s decision, initially believing it to be a trick, and later, a test of his loyalty. He warmed up to his new role after Palestar made further efforts to rebuild her clan, including pardoning exiled cats and banning the murder of rogues (an action that Creekstar had permitted). Nowadays his relationship with Palestar is tense but professional - though there are rumours she only made him deputy because she knows he won’t usurp her like she had to Creekstar.
Kestrel (he/him), Snowclan’s Deputy - Kestrel was born in Stormclan to Pineshadow and an unknown father. Not long before his apprentice ceremony, his mother fled their home, taking him to Snowclan. There, Ouzelstar took him in, whilst his mother was turned away into the frozen wilds. From a young age Kestrel demonstrated an intuition and selflessness beyond his age - he was left significantly scarred after defending his clanmate from a badger. Though most of his clanmates afforded him sympathy and admiration for this action, there were others who were angered by it - namely Ouzelstar, who would give Kestrel the warrior name ‘Half-face’. Kestrel went on to become deputy after Thawflank stepped down to care for his son and grieve his mate, and remained in the role long after this once Ouzelstar realised his competency far exceeded Thawflank’s (and he didn’t argue with him like Thawflank did). As deputy, he puts his duties above all else, especially any personal grudges he might harbour.
Lionsong (he/him), Gladeclan’s Deputy - Lionsong suffered a rough childhood, one that he still occasionally blames himself for. Having lost both his parents at a young age, in different ways, Lionsong grew up under the guidance of his mentor, Brightnettle. As an adult, Lionsong has committed himself to serving his clan to the best of his ability, and is known by his clanmates to be resolute but compassionate - making him a perfect candidate for deputy. Having been named by Starclan as the ‘saviour of his clan’, Lionsong wonders what lies in his future, and whether his future role as leader could clash with the actions required of a hero. He has a mate named Ashfall.
Ravenshine (she/her), Meadowclan’s Deputy - Born a kittypet and abandoned by her owners, Ravenshine struggled to adapt to a life of scavenging on the streets of her twoleg-place. She found Meadowclan after trying her luck hunting in the fringes of the town and stumbling across a border patrol. Desperate and hungry, she was prepared to fight these new, strange cats for her dinner, but was surprised when they invited her to their clan. She found the warrior life suited her well (though she is prone to sunburn more than the average Meadowclan cat, due to her lack of fur) and quickly earned the trust of Sandstar. She enjoys organisation and strategising, both of which make her suited to her role as deputy - though she does have a bad habit of over-worrying, something that isn’t helped by her leader’s lackadaisical antics. She has a crush on her clanmate, Flaxeneye.
HEALERS
Lichenfrost (she/her), Stormclan’s Healer - Lichenfrost is unusually friendly for a Stormclan cat. She was apprenticed to Frostwhisker, a key figure in the turmoil Stormclan experienced under Creekstar’s leadership, until his brutal death at the claws of a clanmate. Lichenfrost was understandably devastated, having witnessed it with her own eyes, and struggled for many moons as her clan’s sole healer. Whilst the bright sting of shock has long since left, she still finds herself struggling under the weight of her grief from time to time, a feeling she mostly tries to battle with a warm smile and a good talk, and maybe only occasionally some poppyseed.
Berrystem (she/her), Snowclan’s Healer - Berrystem apprenticed under Cedarsmoke, a quiet and often unsettling cat. Almost as soon as she had earned her name, he left the clan, saying goodbye only to her. As an apprentice, Berrystem was fiercely passionate about her duties, finding solace in healing clanmates and peace in having time to herself - not to mention, a small part of her was both humbled and thrilled by the importance of her role. As she got older, however, her devotion began to waver - and almost faltered completely when the Blight hit her clan. After the death of both her apprentice, Mumblepaw, and her brother’s mate, Tumblestone, Berrystem travelled to the Peak and begged her ancestors for something, anything she could do to save her clanmates. She was met with silence. Distraught and hopeless, Berrystem started avoiding her clanmates out of guilt, spending all her time in her den tending to the dying. When the Blight finally began to clear in the warmer months, the damage was done; their small clan was smaller and Berrystem believed it was all due to her. Losing her brother to his grief and her friends to their duties, Berrystem found an unlikely bond with the only other cat who felt ostracised from the clan; Martenfur. The two would soon form a warm friendship, with Martenfur often helping Berrystem fetch those herbs that were just a little too tall for her to reach.
Littleshadow (she/her), Gladeclan’s Healer - Littleshadow became a healer far later in her life than most cats. She was 40 moons when the clan’s current healer, Duskfoot, died suddenly in a dog attack. Having been the only cat with a higher-than-average knowledge of herbs and remedies, Littleshadow stepped in to help her clan. Trained mostly by Beechbark, Littleshadow quickly learnt the ways of a healer and took up the role full-time - leaving her mate, Cindertail, behind.
Beechbark (he/him), Meadowclan’s Healer - Beechbark is the oldest of the current healers, having outlived not only his mentor but the clan’s previous leader. Despite this, he refuses to pick an apprentice on the principle that none of his clan’s current young ‘uns show enough respect and diligence for his liking. His clanmates fear that he’ll die before taking an apprentice, and his clan will be left healer-less like Gladeclan had been. Little do they know, Beechbark fears that if his clan has a newer, younger healer then they’ll see no use for him, and usher him off to the elder’s den. He’s not ready to give up his role just yet.

Cause of Death: ripped apart by dogs
Cautionary Tale: even the most invisible cat can be a danger if pushed far enough
Story:
Mothkit was never the favourite, and Roseflame made sure they knew it.
The litter of four even had an unofficial hierarchy of who was the most favoured by their mother. The order was Flamekit, Emberkit, Icekit, and Mothkit. The other three were showered with praise while Mothkit was pushed out of the nest and had to sleep with the permanent queen, Darkleap. Why? As with most problems of shallow cats like Roseflame, it was relationship drama.
Mothkit’s father, Birchberry, was a sweet cat, but soon after the litter was born, Roseflame’s eyes began to wander. The divorce was messy, and after it was over, she didn’t even want to look at anything that might remind her of her ex.
Roseflame was ginger and white, Flamekit looked the same, Emberkit was all ginger, Icekit was a tortie, and Mothkit was the spitting image of their father.
Unfortunately, getting most of their dad’s genes also meant that they got most of their dad’s problems, like insomnia. They had never had a good night’s sleep in their life unassisted, and the only thing that would keep Mothkit from staggering around like a zombie all day was poppy seeds.
Mothkit spent most of their time alone, collecting leaves and berries and sorting and counting them. Roseflame hated the kits interacting with their father, but since Mothkit was mostly by themself, Birchberry did his best to spend time with them.
Mothkit had minor prophetic dreams. When they were one moon old, they had a dream about Darkleap kitting early, and playing with a tortie she-kit and a white tom. They told Darkleap about it, but he dismissed it as just a dream. It ended up being true, and Sedgekit and Cloudkit looked exactly like Mothkit had said they would. Darkleap told the medicine cat, Rainstripe, but he said it was probably just a coincidence since Mothkit was worried about Darkleap.
Things continued as okay, until they weren’t.
The worst greencough epidemic Shadeclan had in generations hit, and Roseflame’s entire litter got sick. Flamekit and Mothkit came out of it okay, and so did Darkleap’s mate, Mintdrop, but Emberkit and Icekit didn’t make it. Mothkit, being much smaller than the properly-fed Flamekit, nearly died, and stayed in the medicine den much longer.
They became acquainted with all the herbs, and begged Rainstripe constantly to be allowed to sort them, but Rainstripe understandably wasn’t going to let a kit play with the herbs.
Roseflame didn’t tell Mothkit that their siblings died, not to keep them safe from it, but because by this time, she didn’t consider Mothkit her own.
When Mothkit found out, they were completely crushed. They sunk further into their sorting, and spent all the rest of their time bothering Rainstripe, who was annoyed by their antics. He finally took them seriously when, after the epidemic threatened to start again when Robinstar got whitecough, Mothkit had a dream about a very hidden supply of catmint.
It took days of constant badgering for Rainstripe to finally indulge them, and lo and behold, it was true. He finally took them as his apprentice, and when they passed the test with flying colours, Roseflame was fairly annoyed.
Mothpaw picked up herb information extremely quickly. They weren’t exactly trusted by their Clanmates yet over Rainstripe, since all they knew about the tiny apprentice was that they didn’t talk much, never slept, and loved counting, but their skills grew on the Clan eventually. Even Roseflame no longer bugged them, and they rarely saw each other.
On an herb patrol, Rainstripe and Mothpaw ran into Robinstar, Sparksnow, and Ripplepaw. They said hello and went on their way, but soon after, Ripplepaw came running back. A dog had attacked, and Sparksnow was fighting it alone! When they got there, collecting cobwebs on the way, Sparksnow was just finishing driving it off, but Robinstar was bleeding out.
They brought him home and stopped the bleeding, but all Rainstripe could do was prolong his suffering. He ended up putting him out of his misery with deathberries, and the foaming at the mouth before falling still was an event that stuck with Mothpaw for a long time.
When Dappleleaf became Dapplestar, and made Wolfbreeze her deputy, no one noticed Sparksnow’s look of fury at being passed over.
Cloudpaw knew about the dream that Mothpaw had that led to his birth, and since they were a similar age they grew up as friends. But sweet Starclan, Cloudpaw wouldn’t leave Mothpaw alone!
Constantly coming up with injuries and illnesses to get Mothpaw to treat him, hanging around the medicine den to bug them, and coming back even after Rainstripe kicked him out. It never ended! Mothpaw finally had enough, and after a long conversation that ended with Cloudpaw crying and making a scene, he finally backed off. For a while.
When Cloudpaw became Cloudwhisker and Mothpaw was still Mothpaw, he began trying to get their attention again. But instead of innocently bothering, it was actually dangerous. Climbing redwood trees while Mothpaw was watching, getting into fights to show off, and he wouldn’t listen when Mothpaw told him to stop.
It all came to a head when Birchberry led a patrol with Cloudwhisker, Ebonysplash, and Mintdrop, and Mothpaw came along to find herbs. Birchberry noticed a Twoleg dog off of its leash. With three experienced warriors and one new one, they could have come up with a plan they could stick to and drive the beast off, no problem
The plan was to surround the dog from all sides while Mothpaw stayed out of the way in a tree. Foolproof, until Cloudwhisker jumped in early to show off, knowing Mothpaw was watching. The fight went all wrong. Ebonysplash and Birchberry went to save him while Mintdrop protected Mothpaw.
It was a slaughter. Ebonysplash retired to the elders’ den when the dog took off her leg, and Birchberry…no matter how hard Mothpaw tried to save him through their tears, there was just too much blood.
It was all Cloudwhisker’s fault. His stupidity and impulsiveness were a danger to Shadeclan, but with the Clan being low on warriors after the greencough epidemic, Dapplestar couldn’t exile him. Mothpaw decided he had to go.
There was a large clearing filled with poppy flowers that Mothpaw cultivated to help with their insomnia. Deathberries or foxglove would make it too obvious Cloudwhisker was poisoned, and there were so many poppy seeds that no one would notice some were missing.
They took a rabbit, Cloudwhisker’s favourite, and stuffed it with so many poppy seeds there was no chance he would wake up, and he didn’t.
After Birchberry’s death, Mothpaw, now Mothblaze, needed more and more poppy seeds to get to sleep, and when they did, they were plagued with dog-related nightmares, so they took even more so they wouldn’t have to dream at all. Rainstripe was worried, but not taking the seeds and having a zombie-like medicine cat from lack of sleep was worse.
Roseflame got a new mate and had a new litter of kits, and Mothblaze had mixed feelings. The kits, Tulipkit and Duskkit, were cute, but soon after, Roseflame broke up with Duskmouse. Mothblaze noticed Duskkit was smaller and skinnier, and when she thought no one was looking, she would push him away and not take care of him!
Mothblaze was not going to let the cycle start again! Another rabbit, stuffed with poppy seeds, took care of the problem, and Duskkit and Tulipkit were adopted by Darkleap and his new litter. Problem solved, and with noticeably less guilt than with Cloudwhisker.
Time passed, and things were okay. But one day, Wolfbreeze mysteriously went missing, and turned up dead a week later. Sparksnow was named the new deputy, and Mothblaze could tell the power went to her head.
But it would be fine, Dapplestar still had eight lives left! She would outlive Sparksnow, and there wouldn’t be a problem, right? This was proven wrong when Dapplestar ended up on the Thunderpath that Twolegs liked to bring their dogs and monster kits on. Dapplestar was decapitated by a monster kit, and lost all the rest of her lives at once.
When Mothblaze went to the ceremony to give Sparksnow her lives, they noticed the Starclan cats looked uncomfortable with the whole thing. They were right.
Sparksnow became obsessed with loyalty and traitors. Anyone that seemed disloyal to Shadeclan disappeared. Even Flamefrost, who Mothblaze was never close with, ended up drowning in the river. Mothblaze buried her solemnly, knowing they now had no family, Rainstripe had died, and there was nothing tying them to Shadeclan other than their job.
Mothblaze knew that they were going to end up in the Dark Forest for their previous two murders, so getting rid of this problem wouldn’t change anything.
But Sparkstar had nine lives. This would take more planning than just a rabbit with poppy seeds, and Mothblaze didn’t have an apprentice to take over in case things went wrong. After counting herbs and organizing them over and over and over, they decided Duskkit had the aptitude to be a medicine cat, and after training them for a few moons, Mothblaze felt confident Duskpaw could take over if the plan went horribly wrong.
It started slow. A rabbit filled with poppy seeds, Mothblaze’s staple. Sparkstar lost a life, but didn’t suspect anything. She was never the smartest, after all.
Then, a kit caught greencough. Mothblaze had the kit cough on a mouse, then took the mouse to Sparkstar. The second life, gone.
Mothblaze spent half a moon destabilizing a badger den by moving rocks and taking out dirt. When Sparkstar took a patrol to drive out the badger, her stomping around made the den collapse. That took away three lives before the patrol could get her out.
Then, Mothblaze lured Sparkstar to the Thunderpath by pretending there was a sign she needed to see. A monster kit took another two lives.
One last rabbit with poppy seeds worked before Sparkstar stopped accepting food from Mothblaze, but she couldn’t prove anything. One last life left.
Mothblaze had run out of foolproof ideas, and Sparkstar was very suspicious. She couldn’t just exile Mothblaze, Duskpaw wasn’t ready to take over.
Mothblaze knew Sparkstar was looking to get rid of them. They grew desperate, and when Sparkstar was hunting alone, Mothblaze jumped her and tore out her throat by surprise. The deputy, Sunwhisper, saw this however, and went back and told the whole Clan.
Mothblaze knew they were finished. They explained everything to Duskpaw, named them Duskflight early, and before Sunwhisper could exile them, they ate the entire supply of poppy seeds to go out on their own terms.
What they hadn’t counted on was that over their life, Mothblaze had built up an immunity. All the seeds did was make them sleepy and woozy as they wobbled around the territory. Mothblaze had absolutely no chance to run when dogs sniffed them out and ripped them apart.
When they woke up exactly where they expected, Mothblaze knew it was worth it.
Additional Information:
–Submission by @chillcatcryptid sorry the link’s not working right
–In Shadeclan, potential medicine cat apprentices have to pass a small test to be an apprentice, and to get their full name.
–In Shadeclan, medicine cats can have a mate and kits, but have to have another medicine cat around, and both of them have to have had their full name for at least a year.
–Cloudwhisker being a warrior when Mothblaze was an apprentice wasn’t being creepy, Cloudwhisker was actually one moon younger.
–Shadeclan is in a redwood forest national park. There are a lot of dogs because Twolegs love walking their dogs there. The Twolegs leave them alone because since they’re in a national park, the cats are considered protected.
–Were Wolfbreeze and Dapplestar murdered? You’ll have to find out in Sparkstar’s story!

Skyclan had sent a warrior to thundrclan as Dappledfang no Dappledstar would like to see Brightstar before she goes to the Star falls and get her nine lives.
Brightstar agrees and brings Mothwing Raindew, Pebblefleck, Howlbite, Thornclaw, hollydapple and Hawkfrost to Skyclan having a bad feeling
When they got to the camp Dapplestar brought Brightstar and Mothwing to the leaders den and and start discussing until they hear fighting out side and before Brightstar could go and see what had happened both Mothwing and Dappledstar attacked her
The skyclan vs thunderclan war has began
TW: Death, blood, and warrior cat violence
Brightstar claws at Mothwing's face and got out of the hold she was in and went out to see the whole of skyclan camp in battle
Dappledstar and Mothwing fallow Brightstar out of the den to attack her and the cats of thunderclan are shocked most of all hawkfrost is the most shocked that his sister would attack the leader
Raindew helped a skyclan queen out of the way of fighting and juniperheart, the skyclan medicine cat helped them in her den
Howlbite bit a Skyclan cat's tail gently
Thornclaw was taking two warriors at once and had injured one enough to send them to the Medicine cat den
A sky clan warrior pinned Hollydapple down and in the fight had nicked her ear
Hawkfrost runs up and attacks his sister and gets her off of Brightstar when Mothwing looks at her brother she tries to explain but Hawkfrost interrupted "You tried to kill her why."
"Because our father was wrongfully exiled he deserves to have been thunderclan's leader!" Mothwing said a bit angry
Hawkfrost tackled Mothwing but mothwing got out of his grasp and tried to make a run for it.
He catches her again and they start to fight.
Hawkfrost nicks her ear
Mothwing hisses at him ant claws his face and he closes his right eye Hawkfrost bats at her face, he dosent want to hurt his sister,
Because she still his sister
As Hawkfrost batts at her Mothwing bites his foreleg
Hawkfrost claws at her nose which make her let go
Mothwing bites his neck while he's distracted hard
In panic Hawkfrost claws at her neck which does make her let go of his neck
Hawkfrost stumbles as he was losing a lot of blood and tried to focus on finishing this fight
Mothwing was in the same state at she looks at Hawkfrost
CW: Cat falling in a river and implies downing and blood loss
Hawkfrost Stumbles and accidentally she had gotten pushed into the river that runs through out their territories and try the grab her but was pulled back by a panting Brightstar her neck wound looking nasty and that she had most likely lost a life Hawkfrost collapsed from the blood loss
Mothwing has died
Back before the Siblings had run off to fight Dappledstar had taken one of Brightstar's lives but Lots of skyclan cat had enough and protested against her ad they where sick of the way she had lead and a senior warrior and another warrior fraught and drove out Dappledstar and now it had left the clan with no leader and no deputy since one wasn't chosen, and so like Runningstar had done many moons ago the head Medicine cat Juniperheart had taken up the leader position and chose the Senior warrior to be her deputy
Brightstar called to rain dew to take the cats and their dead as she went to find Hawkfrost and Mothwing when she had found them she saw hawkfrost take a stumbly step and had brushed against Mothwing and she had fallen into the river. She saw Hawkfrost was going to jump in after her but Brightstar had grabbed his scuff and pulled him away. He carried him to camp after he collapsed.
Raindew had checked him and said he would live and looked out to see thornclaw in the middle of camp lavender already in his pelt and ready for tonight's vigil Both juniperstar and Brightstar has agreed to both a new rule to the warrior code and that 10 moons of peace will happen
Rule 16: If there is no leader and no Deputy the medicine cat will step up and become leader
Anyway time for patrols and its time for the 8 first time apprentice patols

Day 2: New OC!
my man Stonestar... formerly Stonetooth :) i created him as Dapplestar's predecessor, and funnily enough they both followed the same path
Stonetooth was a very, VERY smart cat, okay? and he was very stupid in love with his BF Owlchaser AKA, Curlstar's son. Stonetooth and Owlchaser both worked hard in hopes to achieve deputy status, but Stonetooth thinks that nepotism is the reason Owlchaser was chosen over him or anyone else.
Stonetooth was still in love with him though--even being chosen deputy when Owlchaser became Owlstar--but his jealousy raged on until one day he jjust staged a coup. Killing Owlstar publically, and then replacing him as leader, if only to be loved just a much as he was.
And Stonestar promised not to be nepotistic, and chose another cat he felt qualified for deputy, over his apprentice who he had originally intended to take his place, should Stonestar have died before leadership.
And his apprentice, grew up and had a kid against his better judgement. But we'll get into Dapplekit/paw/heart/star some other time :)
Literally his ENTIRE story was based off Brutus by The Buttress, bc I did not give a SHIT abt him until I listened to this song

*WARNING FOR CARTOON VIOLENCE AND GORE DESCRIBED IN DESCRIPTION* A drawing I made of my OC Eclipsepebble! Here she is drawn with her scars fresh as wounds. In her story she is made deputy shortly after Fantasyland dies, Dapplestar is on her last life. Dapplestar ends up losing it to greencough shortly after Eclipsepebble is made deputy and she ends up being one of the youngest leaders WindClan has had in many generations. StarClan sends her a warning of a wolf, but the wolf leaves WindClan territory before it causes too much trouble. When she was roughly 78 moons old (about 50-60 moons of leadership), WindClan was weak, there was a drought happening, and ShadowClan thought they would attack while they were weak. ShadowClan had almost double the amount of members who were as strong as ever. Eclipsestar ordered that the clan retreat when Birchstar yowled for the attack to start. Only one cat obeyed and she gave in and joined her battling clanmates. She lost a life in the battle to a ShadowClan warrior, but while she was recovering her life her friend protected her. Some of the ShadowClan cats turned on Birchstar and the other fighting ShadowClan warriors and helped WindClan fight against them. When ShadowClan retreated these brave ShadowClan warriors were accepted into WindClan. Eclipsestar was very hurt, bleeding from many wounds of her sides as shown in the drawing, but she insisted on having the other cats treated before her. Duskmist (soon to be renamed) still treated her since she was one of the most hurt cats in the clan. Turns out that ShadowClan had raided the nursery and took Gingerkit, a kit who had lost both of her birth parents in the battle, those two being the only deaths. A moon after the fight Cloudpaw and Bearpelt, the kidnappers, wanted an exchange. WindClan lets ShadowClan hunt on WindClan territory, or Gingerkit dies. Eclipsestar had slight trauma from the battle and she took this very harshly, resulting in her attacking Cloudpaw, who was holding Gingerkit. Cloudpaw dropped Gingerkit and the she-kit scampered away to one of the queens. Cloudpaw started chasing after her and Eclipsestar ended up having to kill her, but in her fury and past trauma, she ended up disemboweling her until her ribcage was clearly visible. She hadn't realized what she had been doing, and a few minutes later she had realized. Bearpelt was actually forced into the kidnapping, and wanted to join WindClan, claiming that he would have taken the kit away from Cloudpaw if she were to actually hurt Gingerkit. Eclipsestar let him join and apologized to all of the former ShadowClan cats who said she did what she had to protect Gingerkit. Nothing else happened too majorly in Eclipsestar's life and she died peacefully in her sleep at 163 moons old. I know this was very long, but she has one of the if not the longest backstory of all of my 64 warriors OCs.

DAPPLEKIT | DAPPLEPAW | DAPPLECLAW | DAPPLESTAR
Served under Gorsestar, preceded by: Fernwhisker.
Dapplestar and her brother Scorchstep were born in the middle of leafbare, the only litter to survive that season. After the death of the previous deputy Fernwhisker, she served as deputy during the Great Root Clan/Swift Clan conflict under Gorsestar until the leader lost her final life trying to conquer the other Clan's camp.
While Dapplestar isn't a particularly agreeable cat, naturally hot headed and argumentative, the war tempered her a great deal. She now actively tries to keep herself calm and often relies on her deputy Sandnose to keep her steady.
She's a molly desperately trying to undo the mistakes of her past and the path of violence their previous leader wrought. The scars on her Clan still linger, however; and only time will tell if the sins of the past will ever truly heal.
-
Parents: Burnclaw (mother, elder) and Briarflight (father, deceased)
Siblings: Scorchstep (brother, retired early due to battle wounds), Cinderkit (deceased)
Mate: Sandnose (They’re on a break.)
Daughters: Maplefoot and Sunflowerheart
Sons: N/A
