■ HISTORY. ■

Unlike many of the people she grew up around, Danielle was raised from nothing short of the middle class. From birth, both her parents worked full-time jobs and often put in overtime hours. Her father was the manager of a shop down the road only a few blocks while her mother worked at the local bank as a teller. But unlike her younger sister, Holly–the young girl didn’t find their stories as inspiring. Instead, Danielle always craved more adventure, money or even just life as she put it. Danielle and her sister attended one of the elite private schools the city had to offer, and she would be forever thankful for the work they put in to keep both their girls in private schooling. That being said, the older of the two James sisters would forever be embarrassed by the mere fact that they were both on scholarships. She wanted to strive like those around her. She wanted to be able to afford the same luxuries the rest of her classmates were able to purchase without any worry of breaking the bank.

Danielle had always been the more outspoken of the two, both girls were heavily involved in their school community. Though Danielle loved the rise in popularity after joining various sports teams, clubs, student government and even yearbook. Daniellemanaged to make the best of their years there. After graduating, Danielle chose to attend a University in Spain on a soccer scholarship. While excelling in her studies she would constantly find the time to travel across Europe back-packing. The time she spent exploring the world, changed Danielle for the better she’d say. Finally, she saw the world for what it was, a dirty place filled with opportunity if you were willing to take it. It made her feel free. While travelling in Scotland she met the love of her life, Sean. At first, it seemed he was a little too posh and stuck up for the girl but only months after meeting, the two had fallen in love. Something about opposites attracting, she wasn’t sure but in an attempt at mending bridges, she brought him home to meet her family.

It was a funny thing for people to see her so settled but she seemed happy and everything was at peace. Most people would say that she settled with the man who could provide her with everything she wanted when she was a teen. What they didn’t know is how they met in a rainstorm and she didn’t know of his wealth until well into dating. Danielle has kept the free-spirited part of herself very much alive. Her need for high couture wasn’t a huge necessity anymore. She was incredibly happy living the posh New York life she’d always wanted, truly on accident. It was an October night where her whole life turned upside down. Danielle was walking home when she was attacked and suddenly the world wasn’t so black and white. Thrust into a world of gang activity she wasn’t aware her husband was apart of. The wealthy businessman she fell in love with was soon revealed to her, as someone highly affiliated with the largest gang in New York City. The Royals had faked her death at the request of her husband in order for them to start their life over in New York City.

■ WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? ■

It’s been three years since then and in those years, Danielle has drastically changed. The bitterness she once felt towards Sean and the Royals is no longer there and she considers them a family, having trained her to be one of their best spies and now they’re finally sending her out into the world again. Allowing her to make her reappearance as she ‘raises from the dead’ some would say. While living in New York, she wasn’t meant to parade around the city like she once would have assumed. She’s meant to sit in the shadows, observe and report back.

Despite the fact that she was able to turn her life around and accept her new life with the Royals, a part of her never forgave her husband for making the decision without her. Or pushing her into this new life. She wasn’t regretful since she’s found the positive in it all, though she’s also confident she could have found her way to these people on her own merit. She and Sean separated soon after her arrival to New York against her will, after hearing his explanation for faking her death and kidnapping. She couldn’t look at him the same way. The lack of trust Sean had for her was more powerful than the love she had for him. Sean left New York and chose to patch into the California charter. It’s been almost three years since she’s seen her husband, despite working closely with some of the higher-ranked members, no one told her that they called him back to the city as extra manpower due to the new arrival of Garrett Miller and his new gang. ■ RELATIONSHIPS. ■

■ Holly James: For two sisters with only a handful of years apart, the girls remained vastly different though still close in relationship. After her husband faked her death, she hasn’t been able to contact her and it broke her heart. Little does she know that her sister, husband and kids have recently moved to the city.  

■ Jenna Alcott: Jenna was an incredible woman, considering everything she went through with Garrett and rising on top. Danielle saw nothing but the best in her. Despite their age difference, they were able to bond on their mutual interest in scum Royals members.  

■ Teddy Nicolescu: After her husband left, she didn’t believe in love, or marriage. Since her separation from her husband, Teddy was at first someone to satisfy her needs, though he’s slowly grown to be more than a fling. Though amongst many of the Royals members, Teddy has been someone whom she’s been able to trust more than others.

As much as Teddy had tried to deny it, he was feeling thing’s for Danielle he wasn’t prepared for. If only he would be able to push them to the side it would be a lot easier, but he gave himself a little wiggle room considering the fact that he had been shot and was allowed a few slip ups today. Still. he shouwed up at her place knocking on the door with his good arm just to make sure she was okay and hadn’t been caught in any craziness that night. The door opened and he couldn’t help but say the first thing that popped into his head. “ Miss me?” He joked.
