truly the only time i miss twitter is on oscars night. I have THOUGHTS about these red carpet looks (and I can't be arsed to find and reblog pictures with commentary lmao)
#time for a tag novel:#andrea reisbrough (sp?) was giving scotch tape#cynthia erivo's dress was an absolutely beautiful color but the silhouette was elephantine#i applaud ariana for going big and structural but... the affect was College Duvet#every man except Eugene should go home and try again#margot's escaped from pink jail good for her#anya taylor joy's look was interesting but somehow accentuated her afghan hound-ness in an uncanny way#zendaya is so rarely a miss for me but a miss it was I did not like the tropical#lupita looked STUNNING i love the details and the restrained peplum outline#michelle yeoh CHIC AS HELL and sexy gloves to boot!#jodie foster was giving mother of the bride#emma stone ..... fine? unrestrained peplum and interesting texture but i'm super not sold on the color#da'vine's dress should have been giving cheerleader but she somehow escaped it and looked frickin RAVISHING one of the best looks imo#so many men had terribly wrinkled suits and ill fitting shirts WHAT is going on?!!!#i don't know who dj kiss is but her look is also top 5 for me#last thing#emily blunt's shoulders left me speechless and not in a good way#girl what the hell was that dress and why???#okay actual last thing carey mulligan looked good as hell the gloves really did it for me this year#also shout out to all the women with the thigh slits y'all looked hot as fuck and i'm gay :)#oscars#red carpet#lmao
