I have finally finished setting up my (new) Veronaville save which means I can start actually playing it. Have two random pictures of Bianca and Cyd in celebration.
The only other thing I might add later on is a tropical vacation hood - if I find one that I like that is, because literally no one makes custom tropical vacation hoods (ones that I like at least). It’s just inundated with custom far east and mountain vacation hoods 💀
Otherwise, I’ll just add maxis Twikki Island. For far east and mountain, I added JoShima and Boldrewood.

Of all the treasures Alex had laid her eyes on, she was most grateful to have found a lucky Penny for Cyd.
Even if long-term romance wasn't really her cup of tea, she could already tell her friends were making a good brew together. (Yes, friends plural - Penny was so darn easy to talk to for someone who had grown up in a forest!). Alex even had the pleasure of being a confidant as Cyd and Penny each privately shared their desire to marry the other.
Such secrets were as valuable as jewels worn by silver Goldstein heiresses on yachts. In this case, Alex wasn't going to throw anyone overboard. Cyd and Penny's monogamous interests opened up Catherine's availability to Alex for wooing: exactly her cup of coffee.

Uberhood (74) - Roseland
Cyd Roseland and Jessica Picaso finally went on a romantic date. They liked each other for quite some time now, but Jessica always kept her distance. She never really had the want to go out, meet Cyd, or anyone for that matter. In my opinion she was just too busy and distracted with her divorce from Matthew. That's why it relieves me so much to see her slowly open up to Cyd. She could really use some fun and happiness right now.
Their date even turned to a Dream Date. 🌹

Another thing that's occurring happening in my Twisted Strangetown save file but isn't actually related to the main plot at all is Cyd and Aktu taking turns tormenting Malcolm Landgraab. Malcolm himself is still alive but he's miserable
Also some new Wild Card Events:
Burning Beaker: Loki has been found dead, and Chloe now has to investigate his death with help from Circe. Suspects include Pascal, Olive, Erin and Nervous. Loki and the killer will both become zombies and added into the townie pool
Family Reunion: Lazlo has somehow found out that Chloe and Lola are related to them and now the Curious brothers won't stop asking them questions. Lola temporarily moves back in to give them answers while Ajay and Chloe continue the investigation. Ajay has the ability to interact with Buzz directly, which will determine where or not he obtains the Worst Fate or the Best Fate
Great Escape: Fed up with witnessing the Beakers' treatment towards Nervous and finally understanding why Ajay wants to protect him so much, Chloe and Lola help Nervous escape from the Beakers. The relationship the Beakers have with Lola and Chloe is immediately set into the negatives, putting their fate at the hands of Ajay

Roseland/Cook
I was too tired to write up the album when I played this rotation; and I have since lapped myself, so my usual practice of writing it up when I post and carrying the updated webentry file back to the gaming machine won't work. (Yes, my determination to have my game on an internet-free machine has a price.) Fortunately they don't have much going on anyway.
Julien goes to work later than Cyd so he was stuck with a lot of job chores, and let Georgia Newson in to play with the dogs and have lunch. Cyd got a promotion and a telephone call from Penny, whose father once tried to set her up with him as an alternative to Rhett. Julien got home in time to take an outing call and went to Sue's Secret Kitchen, where he tried to join a cooking contest but couldn't get the option. So now he just has a dinner plate in his inventory. At least he met lots of new people, which is his main deal anyway.

Also I would like to say that after the first cop dipped after the burglar caught on fire, a second one came and fined Cyd $500 😐
Fuck around and find out bitch. That’s what you get. I don’t have a cemetery yet on either side of town so Cyd gets to have this grave as a decoration in his backyard for a bit until I get one.
In happier news, lil’ baby Atlas was born the day before this whole fiasco. He managed to get red hair even with the maxis generics inheritance system :]

VeronaHills, Round Six: Roseland
A new villager walked by the trailer with a terrier trotting by her side. Alex, mid-tree pose in the garden, called out a good morning.
The villager turned and Alex's poise faltered; she threw her raised foot to the ground and attempted to pull herself together. She saw faeries all the time in Riverblossom Hills, like her ex-husband's sister-in-law, the original "green goddess". Seasons passed and vine-covered forest fae walking among them became commonplace; this faerie, however, had a minty glow. Even eerier, eyes like appleseeds.
"Good morning! My name is Penny. This is Pinky. What's your name?"
Receiving those short but sweet words and introducing herself in turn, Alex wondered if Penny was making extra effort to tick the meet-and-greet boxes. Most neighbours would wave and be on their way (unless the neighbour was Betty, looking for a fight), but she seemed happy to stop and chat. Maybe she wasn't just walking her dog for the sake of it.
Her dog.
"Hey, if you've got the time, you should meet my roommate!"
Penny beamed and gladly accepted. Alex would pat herself on the back later, proud and pleased with her impulsive invitation. Even though Cyd was in his dressing gown to begin with, he made time to share his love for dogs with their guest.
The visit ticked over into the afternoon and Cyd had dressed and put on his best hat, so Alex decided to leave them to it, and met Catherine Viejo outside. Yes, Cyd had been seeing her, but it didn't seem exclusive. Besides, he and Penny looked like they were getting along. Even the dogs were calmly touching noses.
Smooth sailing, Alex thought.
