Wack Donalds Galactic Empire World Building
Yeah I said I'd do this if it got 5 notes and it got 0, but what do I care?
Here's the backstory for my dumb episodic sci fi game and the inspiration list:
The classic Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams (book)

The Young Lief spinoff from Midnight Burger (podcast) ((honestly 90% of the inspiration for the bonkers premise is this and hitchkers))

Backstory below the cut for keeping the post succinct on whoever's home screen this winds up on
It is well known in the universe that cows were initially an intergalactic non-space-faring race from the planet Bos Mootarus (bOHs mOO-tar-us). Around the time the rest of the universe became space faring, a capitalist focused planet within the same system of Bos Mootarus began hunting the peaceful species as they discovered their meat was delicious. The capitalist species known as WacDonalds began a corporate take over of the universe, using their delicious Mootaran based meats to establish franchises in many solar systems which led to a financial domination of worlds. As their financial and fast food empire expanded, their breeding and culling practices of Mootarans went unreported as they were non-space-faring and had not connected to the rest of the interconnected galaxies. As Mootarans began to go extinct from increased demand, WacDonalds began to supplement their burgers with an addictive plant by-product, slowly replacing the meat entirely with the plant based material.
A group of revolutionary journalists discovered the culling and genocide of Mootarans and secretly began sneaking them out of the system, to the only other sentient planet without space faring technology- EARTH. EARTH has become a Mootaran Sanctuary where they grow and live in peace (as far as the revolutionaries are aware) and the revolutionaries occasionally still send Mootarans to EARTH for safe keeping. (This is why many depictions of aliens show cows being beamed by spaceships, humans have simply misinterpreted this as abductions instead of the relocation that it actually is. Silly humans.)
WacDonalds has become more desperate to seed the idea that meat is unnecessary, promoting a radical cult of cykoteks which believe that meat is the way of the past. Because their plant by-products can fuel electronics (like corn fueled engines but way better and sciencier) they branched into medical cybernetic research and have begun a branch of the company which provides cybernetik organ replacements. The organ replacements however tend to be faulty, leading to cykotek electrical problems that cause blinding rages and moments of violent psychosis. This new line of revenue has combined with an underground cykotek gladiatorial ring where those who cannot pay off their cybernetic surgeries are sent to fight to pay off their debts to the company.
As time has gone on the Sathars have made it part of their mission to protect the Mootaran Sanctuary, though no one is certain why. The belief that Trump was an alien plant in order to prevent further progress (scientific or otherwise) of the human race is an accurate one.

CD Projekt Red ist kein Unbekannter für gut geschriebene Geschichten, große Universen und immersive Rollenspiele. Und mit ihrer jüngsten Ankündigung rund um Cyberpunk 2077 wollen sie es weiter beweisen. Das kommende Phantom Liberty DLC bringt nicht nur eine frische Wendung in V's Geschichte, sondern führt auch ein neues Stadtviertel ein. Es erweitert die geografischen Grenzen des Spiels und haucht der Welt von Cyberpunk 2077 immersive Leben ein.
Das frische Stadtviertel namens Dogtown ist ein verlockendes Mysterium, das Spieler mit unbekannten Abenteuern in den dunklen Ecken von Night City lockt. Das DLC hört jedoch nicht bei den geografischen Grenzen auf. Eine Liste neuer Quests und Orte wurde veröffentlicht, um die Spieler in eine Spionage-Thriller-Erzählung zu ziehen, in der sie die Aufgabe haben, NUSA-Präsidentin Rosalind Myers zu retten.
Der wohl überraschendste Twist kommt mit der Ankündigung, dass der renommierte Schauspieler Idris Elba die Figur Solomon Reed im DLC synchronisiert und der Erzählung von Cyberpunk eine starke Tiefe verleiht.
Das große Update und Überarbeitungen CD Projekt RED ist auch darauf aus, das Gameplay und die Mechanik mit einem großen Update zu verbessern. Die Überarbeitung des Fähigkeitsbaums und die Einführung des neuen Relikt-Fähigkeitsbaums bieten eine vielseitige Spieleranpassung und ermutigen die Spieler, noch tiefer in die Welt der Cybernetik einzutauchen.
Ein neues Sternensystem wurde dem Polizeisystem des Spiels hinzugefügt. Die Bekanntheitsstufe des Spielers in Night City löst nun eine erhöhte polizeiliche Reaktion aus. Diese Änderung im Design des Polizeisystems verleiht dem Gameplay einen besonderen GTA-Flair.
Die Ankunft eines neuen Arsenals und Fahrzeugs Das Phantom Liberty DLC verspricht eine Vielzahl neuer Waffen und Fahrzeuge, die den Kampfszenen des Spiels eine aufregende Dynamik verleihen. Von der Wucht der Order-Schrotflinte bis zur präzisen Heimlichkeit des Osprey-Scharfschützengewehrs spricht das neue Arsenal verschiedene Spielstile an.
Die enthaltenen schicken Fahrzeuge, insbesondere der Quadra Sport R-7 Vigilante, zusammen mit der neu hinzugefügten Möglichkeit, sich aus Fahrzeugen herauszulehnen und so am Kampf teilzunehmen, verwandeln das Transportsystem des Spiels in einen aufregenden mobilen Schlachtfeld.
Überarbeitung des Cyberware-Systems Die Überarbeitung des Cyberware-Systems sorgt mit verbesserten Mechaniken und visuellen Änderungen am Equipment für Aufsehen. In Anlehnung an den Lebensweg eines kybernetisch verbesserten Bürgers von Night City ist nun ein Gleichgewicht erforderlich, da zu viele kybernetische Verbesserungen zu Stat-Debuffs führen können und so eine neue Herausforderung für die Spieler darstellen.
Die Zukunft von Cyberpunk 2077 ist zweifellos beeindruckend mit dem kommenden Phantom Liberty DLC und dem großen Spiel-Update.
Abschließende Gedanken Trotz Widrigkeiten und einem weniger perfekten Start entwickelt sich Cyberpunk 2077 weiter und zeigt eine vielversprechende Zukunft.
Das Phantom Liberty DLC und das große Spiel-Update sind Schritte in die richtige Richtung, um das Spielerlebnis für die Gamer-Community zu verbessern. landing in life. While he had taken it upon himself to forge a path
with the crazy folk with the desert land, Rhys now had the deed to
Atlas.
It was seriously amazing to think about, and the smaller man
couldn’t wipe the grin off his face as he was witnessing things
taking shape for Rhys. Though, really? It felt like his smile was
almost never-ending since the pair had finally been reunited.

Flanked by two members of Hyperion staff, he takes the other’s flesh hand without invitation, shaking it firmly as he and the other employees surround Rhys.
“So good to see you here! Rice, was it? Reice? Dammit, I hope I’m not getting that wrong.”
Temporarily distracted, a vigorous shake of head clears his thoughts, allowing him to focus on the true purpose behind this meeting. “Shall we take this elsewhere? I’m sure we have much to discuss.”
