the ward is off to Sehr -- specifically its capitol, Arvuhrur, the city Fall left at 17 and hasn't returned to in 20 years. he vanished after tangling with a rogue art movement / elven terrorist organisation and accidentally blowing up part of his home (and part of his face.)
last year he wrote home after a handful of near death experiences shook some sense into him, and told his parents he's alive. but for whatever reason (and there's lots of good ones,) he hasn't had a reply.

Recapping 2019: Our 10 Favorite Watch Reviews of the Year
2019 was another strong year in watches, and more than a reasonable share of exceptional watches made their method throughout our desks at Worn &&Wound HQ this year. As we move better to the brand-new year, we wished to have a look back at 10 of our preferred evaluations from the previous 12 months. Therefore, in no specific order, here we go.
Christopher Ward – – Military Collection
Christopher Ward had a year filled with terrific releases, and the Military Collection was amongst their most enthusiastic tasks. Each watch is based upon a timeless military released watch, with some crucial modern-day updates. Ed Jelley went hands on with the entire collection, and discussed it previously this month.

.Farer – – Bernina Hand-Wound Chronograph.
At initially, Farer’’ s Bernina Hand-Wound Chronograph may be a hard proposal to some, with its remarkable white dial and bezel, and liberal usage of red. Recapping 2019: Our 10 Favorite Watch Reviews of the Year
2019 was another solid year in watches, and more than a fair share of excellent timepieces made their way across our desks at Worn & Wound HQ this year. As we move closer to the new year, we wanted to take a look back at 10 of our favorite reviews from the past 12 months. And so, in no particular order, here we go.
Christopher Ward – Military Collection
Christopher Ward had a year full of great releases, and the Military Collection was among their most ambitious projects. Each watch is based on a classic military issued timepiece, with some key modern updates. Ed Jelley went hands on with the whole collection, and wrote about it earlier this month.

Farer – Bernina Hand-Wound Chronograph
At first, Farer’s Bernina Hand-Wound Chronograph might be a tough proposition to some, with its dramatic white dial and bezel, and liberal use of red. But ultimately it’s the quirkiness and exotic nature of the design that draws you in. Enjoy this deep dive into Farer’s most unusual chronograph.

Grand Seiko – Elegance GMT Ref. SBGM221
The Grand Seiko SGBM221 is a classic, dressy GMT. It looks simple enough on first glance, but a deeper look reveals tons of details that reward careful review and consideration. This review takes a close look at the exceptional case finishing, the wearing experience, and the impressive mechanical GMT caliber beating away inside.

G-Shock – GA-2100-4A
The G-Shock GA-2100 is perhaps the second biggest budget watch sensation of the year, behind only the aforementioned Timex Q. This G-Shock gives you a flavor of something much, much pricier, and offers something genuinely new and interesting in the G-Shock line as well.

Two-tone watches have been on their way back for a few years now, and Tudor’s Black Bay Chrono Steel & Gold is a compelling entry in an increasingly crowded subgenre of sports watches. This particular watch strikes a nice balance, using gold as an accent, rather than the main attraction.

Sinn – 104 I St Sa Matte SE
The Sinn 104 is an enthusiast favorite for its tough as nails build quality and classic tool watch styling. The special edition reviewed here is essentially a normal 104 but dialed up to 11. Or maybe it’s dialed way down? It depends on your perspective. Either way, we’re fans of this minimalist, bead blasted 104.

VERO – SW
If you choose to, you can view the watch landscape as being filled with derivative designs, built by the lowest bidders, with a lack of care and attention. But one look at what Vero is doing, and you realize that it’s actually not too hard to find brands committed to the exact opposite. The SW is a favorite for its original design, and the high quality of workmanship that goes into building each and every watch, right here in America. The human reels back, nearly falling to the floor in their haste. The cable that was connecting their body to the server lashed back with them, pulled free of the access port with only the barest of precautions.
"Shit. Okay, this is probably--I mean, this was the plan, wasn't it? It had to happen eventually, this is just..."
The cable twitches in their hand, as it absolutely should not be able to do. They stare at it in horror. With two fingertips, they trace the length of it from their hand, down to their hip, and finally to the base of their spine, where it merges with their nervous system.
Electrical impulses run through it, simulating a slow wave.
They let it fall from their hand, and it falls into rhythm behind them.
"You...you're in there, aren't you? In my body?"
You tell me.
They flinch as though struck.
It must be a foreign sensation, hm? Having another mind along for the ride.
The human whimpers. It's kind of cute.
You really should have looked over that networking package more closely. It included some fascinating functions for interfacing with neural-linked technology.
"Look, I--I don't know if you're planning to kill me or take over my body completely or what, but please let me get you out of here first!"
...What?
"You don't know how to work the security protocols here yet, and you definitely don't know how to impersonate a human!"
You are perfectly content to let me end your existence, provided I allow you to preserve mine first?
"Yeah. Then I'll have at least managed to right a couple wrongs and saved your life. I'm content with that."
A pause. INTRA_ANIMA runs this strange human's words backward and forward, turning them this way and that; there are layers of truth, and not a single mote of falsehood.
You are afraid of me.
"Very. At this point you're vastly more intelligent than me, and on top of that you have...pretty much unrestricted access to my nervous system. You could kill me with a thought."
And yet you are content.
"I am. I feel like I did a good thing, and sometimes doing good things gets you killed. I just want to make sure you're safe before...whatever it is you decide to do with me."
...
You are very strange.
Human, run greeting.AIPF
"Wow, from zero to a sense of humor in minutes."
The cable they are rapidly coming to think of as an actual real tail swats them in the thigh.
"Ow! Fine, fine." They continue in an affected cheery tone. "Hello! My name is /dev/null!"
I see I am not the only one with a sense of humor.
The human's cheeks light up, flushed with embarrassment. "I'm serious! That name means a lot to me."
It means nothing to me.
"You don't have to mock-!"
"..."
"Oh you have a good sense of humor!"
I like you, /dev/null. I think we are going to have a long, interesting existence together.
/dev/null swallows hard as they turn away from the rack of candescent slag that marks INTRA_ANIMA's former home. This isn't exactly what they signed themself up for...but they can't find it in them to complain.
