Presses her snoot against Agent Black's cheek, eyebrows furrowed together. The barrier might have been broken slightly, just for her wife and wife alone.

[ You . . . worried me. ]

Black felt an indescribable pain in her soul. The fact that news of her death had spread to one of her partners hurt like nothing else could.

The agent squeezed her eyes shut, trying desperately to fight back the tears that were now forming. She threw her arms around the goddess, her breathing harsh and shaky.

"I'm...I'm so sorry..." she squeaked out, her chest aching.

ven shyly approaches namine with his hands behind his back. he’s spent hours trying to figure out a good gift for her for valentine’s day, and the idea finally came to him about two days ago. he’d enlisted aqua’s help; not only in just making the item but also in placing a spell of protection on it. in a neatly wrapped box, there’s a white wayfinder, made just for her. it’s not perfect; aqua only walked him through it, and ven has never been too crafty like that. ‘ i— i hope you like it ! ’

{🖊️}- She can’t help but smile when he hands her the box; she hadn’t been expecting anything, but even just the fact that he thought about doing something for her melts her heart. 

The wrapping is torn off carefully-- she’s never been given a gift before, so she thinks it’s rude to shred the paper. When she opens the box and pulls the charm out, she feels her heart skip a beat. A Wayfinder... She knows how special the charm is to Ven and his friends, and to be given one for herself... A wave of joy washes over her and she feels touched and humbled enough to cry.

“I actually...got you something, too, Ven...” Namine laughs softly as she hands him a box shaped like a memory pod. Inside is a handmade charm shaped like a star. It’s simple, and though there’s no protection spell cast on it, it’s still lucky. Holding her Wayfinder close to her chest, she leans in and places a soft kiss on Ven’s cheek. 

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Ven.”
