Being in the company of those he deeply trusts. Although the only ones who have proven successful in gaining his trust were the dryads. 

Odds are he will return to them eventually and know that happiness once more. Be it in war or peace. However, he still wishes to see the world. Not for the people that inhabit it, but for the strange and breathtaking scenery around him.

Hazel eyes locked with crimson, and his head freely tilted into the kiss with a taste of another’s blood marking some change from his own as he hums, gloved fingers finding purchase on Rathain’s clothes. He didn’t care in the sudden embrace that he found himself pressed up against a wall almost sooner than he think when those ravenous lips along his neck made a low groan escape him, and his pulse race.

Any surprise melted away as the Assassin felt sparks of warmth kindle despite the chill air of the dark night, broken only by the sounds of something breathing -- a little ragged already -- though after a few moments, he realized he was making those; and he arches against him. A slight tug at his lover’s clothes, seeking time to think or speak before thought is one of the last things on his mind.

“Has saying ‘hello’ fallen out of, ah, fashion?” Jacob gasps with a smirk, his breath clouding in the night air. “Though can’t we find somewhere else?”

Drathenia sat in a crumpled heap, seemingly defeated. She felt deaf and blind... practically helpless in such a weaker form. It revolted her. Drawing in a ragged breath, she clenched her fists and shook herself. There was no point in wallowing in self-pity, for it achieved nothing. Her body was mortal but her mind was the same, she had to cling to what little dignity she had left. 

It was then she was gripped by a foreign sensation, it was as if cold water were running down the length of her spine. Muscles tensed and her breath caught, she then recognized it. It was the reaction her prey had when in her presence. A predator was near. She attempted to stand but unsteady legs failed her, she simply collapsed back to the ground with a muttered curse beneath her breath. Bare knee’s scraped on fallen branches and soon brilliant red welled from the wound.

“Damn it all.” 

[ ANON ] I haven't read some of your writings yet but from what I've seen so far, you are spectacular with Geralt. Your writing flows nicely, your portrayal is spot-on, and just??? I love. I know we just started writing together but I hope there's more to be had in the future!
