I might have a slight problem

So since my last backlog update I’ve added: Durga I, Sol Raptor, AUV Amaterasu Regalia, Noir, Ilshana, MGEX Strike Freedom

Also I needed to put the Virtue box sideways so you can properly see just how massive that kit is (well not really like size massive but weight massive).

Since then I’ve built: MG Kyrios, HG Calibarn, HG Schwarzette, HG Guntank, 30MS option part set 6, 30MS Luluce (mid progress while I figure out how to make the noir jacket work).

Elbows lay propped upon the table; chin resting against steeples fingers. Did he tell Sylas to read it out loud? Of course his did. Was it smart to have him read it out loud at Ezreal’s place, where he hd roommates that could have been anywhere? Probably not, but it didn’t stop him from grinning and making him do it anyway. Sylas wasn’t really a poor sport anyway; and Ezreal liked to listen to the other talk—something about his voice made his brain stop working at 100% ( but he would never let Sylas know that ).

Mentally he checks off the boxes before one question is answers that garners a reaction from him, face flushing crimson and causing Ezreal to lean back far enough that he almost fell out of his chair. “H-hey!! D-don’t eat ‘em off me! Ice cream would be WAY too cold!!”

A huff leaves him as he grounds himself; partially hunched over and wrinkling his nose. “If you wanna diet of sugar and caffeine, then I suggest that you’re the one that cooks, big guy.” He pouts; lips pursed to emphasize his pouting before he rests his cheek in his palm.

Spicy food? He could do that ( to a degree. Eat it, anyway. ). Cuddling? Check. Place to do it? Yeah both was fine.

When it came to interest though; and words fell out of Sylas’ mouth, Ezreal’s eyes widened as climbed upon the table and reached over to clamp a hand over the poor guys’ mouth, looking around quite frantically to make sure nobody else heard him. “Dude—SHUT UP—“ his voice was a harsh whisper. “No one knows I build those things okay!? They’d toootally make fun of me!” He enjoyed building his little garage kits and his GUNPLAs—in private, anyway. No one had to know about his dorky little hobby! He sighs before pulling his hand back, gently tapping Sylas’ cheek

#Repost @colvinology Crimson, an 11.2% bourbon barrel aged Flanders red ale from Upland Brewing (@uplandbrewco), and the Metal Build Astray Red Frame Kai (Alternative Strike Version) . little whiffs of bourbon and oak, accompanied by an absolute ton of cherry, plum, and date aromas, and a bit of tobacco towards the end. The sip follows prettty closely, but there's more bourbon here than in the nose. It hits first, followed immediately by a nice dose of sour cherry and date, along with a bit of oak. The finish is very largely bourbon barrel, with an aftertaste of spirits, some tobacco notes, and a nice boozy warmth in the back of the throat. This is much more of a "sip with a cigar" than a "drink on the back patio" kind of brew. It makes me want to replace everything in my office with full grain leather and buy a velvet smoking jacket. It's sophisticated, but I also think it would be accessible to people who don't quite *love* bourbon. It's spectacular, but did I buy this because the label matches the Astray? Do you even have to ask? 😂 . Oh and, this Metal Build? Amazing. The joints are a bit tight and some of the weapon transformations border on moon logic, but after building a couple MG Astrays, this is the superior 1/100 version. Shout-out to everyone who told me to drop an insane amount of money on a Metal Build...because I also preordered another one. Oh, and to answer that poll, it actually CAN hold the Turn Red's swords...the problem is that they're so bulky, almost no pose with them off the ground looks cool 😂. Can't win em all, right? I'm calling it done (for now). = ) Here's the basic idea: For as much as I like the base Barbatos Lupus Rex, I wanted to lean more toward the Lupus & Rex parts of its name. I used copper, silver & a hand mixed "Antique Gold" to give it that royal feel. Black, royal blue & crimson metallics kept the existing colors from being too blown out but bling. I used copper on the palms & fingertips to add to the existing wolf motif w/ its claws & tail spike. Build complete!

These older Seed MG’s are closer to a HG build than a modern day MG, which makes sense when you say it out loud of course but you really feel it in these kits. They build up fast, minimal panel lines and polycaps. Oh the polycaps. They won’t age well but for now they’re sturdy!

The Assault Shroud in this holds on surprisingly well EXCEPT! The front waist armor. This basicallly slides into two slots on the base front skirt armor. The issue with this that both skirts move independently so it Does Not stay on. So I cemented mine in lol probably would have been better if it attached to the crotch armor instead but oh well. If you want to modify the part to keep it removable maybe make the attach point there.

It also comes with Dry Transfer decals aside from the sticker kind. Which would be great but since you should Really topcoat the part after applying the decal I have to pass bc 1) the pollen rn is WILD and 2) I don’t really have a good space inside to let it dry and fume at the same time soo���.later!

All in all a fun build! If you’re like me and like a solid MG that’s a quick build then you’ll enjoy this one a lot!

I am SO GLAD I bought new single blade nippers for this build.

I’m also kind of really surprised at how well this whole kit builds up so far. Like you would think something this detailed would have a bunch of finicky parts that are kind of a pain to fit well but that’s absolutely not the case. Everything fits and fits exceptionally well. All the gimmick pieces fit perfectly and nothing is Too Tight. Nothing is Too Loose either.

I guess my only real gripe is that some of these detail stickers (which are a gel type sticker) are SO DAMN SMALL like the size of a pen head small so I don’t think I��ll ever get around to using those ones specifically.

But not bad for a day and a half worth of progress! Will update as I finish Stage 1 and then move on to Stage 2 (high key not looking forward to making 8 Dragoon bits)

Main body done! Just have the rest of the weapons and the armor

Overall a pretty quick easy build and as usual I’ll get the decals on later! Now since I can’t get rid of this poll:

Also the Aerial build!!! Just snap fit with some panel lining and a little sanding for a matte finish (1500 sanding sponge).

It was an incredible build but something I noticed that was pretty nifty was that the joints are interchangeable with Bandai’s 30 minute missions line which is pretty stinkin cool!

Forgot how quickly these things build up. Not wild about the polycaps but it’s looking good so far! Kinda wish there were more panel lines but I guess that doesn’t matter much where the Assault Shroud will cover the main body

Just realized I never posted this! First attempt at any amount of weathering. Purely done with gundam markers and my finger lol actually really happy with how this turned out and I’m almost tempted to get another one of these bad boys.

Speaking of, 86 rerun kits when???
