female pain is still not taken seriously and it's literally making me want to die.

i have hEDS, now mix that with plantar fasciitis... i have plantar so bad that it's making my feet constantly swollen, it has started to even bruise my feet, and it feels like i'm consistently walking on broken feet and having the broken bone shards jab into me as i take steps. physical therapy, cortazon shots, ultrasounds, massages, pain patches, ibuprofen/other pain meds all didn't work. i have 3 different inserts in different shoes that don't work. yet i am spending money for custom inserts...that won't help. and also had an MRI.

my knee might be a torn meniscus due to where the pain is mostly located. i have tame knee pain right now, but with that possibility, it is making it worse. it feels swollen all the time, stiff, and i can't do stairs well, i dread them, even slopes going up or down is even to set off the pain. i cannot squat or kneel down. the pt gave me exercises which made it agitated. instead of sending me to an MRI to see if it is a tear, the pt tells me i just need to get stronger. if i'm stronger then a possibly tear in my knee might magically go away.

Ouch ouch ouch! That sounds terrible! Something I found helped with the clean out was otomax, it dislodged all the gunk really well. The only reason that wasn’t sustainable is because the infection was producing so much pus and debris that it would only stay clean for a short amount of time, and it didn’t help with the cutaneous ulcers or the raw open skin.

She has had the vertical ear canal ablation and another surgery to cauterise ulcerated tissue off and basically open her ear canal. So essentially burning her inner ear to make a bigger hole. It was gruesome and awful, I hated it. And it didn’t help at all, the trauma just made the tissue swell and in turn the canal ended up swollen and smaller than it was in the first place, and it was constantly oozing pus. Worse than it’s ever been. Since the burns have healed we’ve been using cortazone steroidal spray but injecting it way down into her ears and it’s helped. She screams and cries and thrashes because it stings soo much, but I can see her ears healing. They’re not as gunky and the inflammation is going down, even the sores are starting to heal.

It was a bit of a risky move as it’s contraindicated for use with cutaneous ulcers, and obvs mil is teaming with those, but it was either “well, we try this thing that specifies NOT to use it, or we put her down. Bring her in, sit her on the table where we’ve jabbed her ears many times before, and jab her arm instead. Watch her steel herself for the pain of an ear clean and then get confused when we pick up her leg. Kill her. Then chuck her in a bag and haul her into the freezer”

And I was like noooo thank u. If my kid’s going in the freezer I’m going with her lol. But yeah, she’s still kicking and she’s happier than she’s been in months. She plays with Henry again. She jumps in the car without the fear that the jolt will hurt her head. She’s screaming and yelling and woo wooing like the arrogant brat she’s always been.

Is wheatums on any sort of steroid? Miller has had a bunch of systematic steroids like dexafort injections and Macralone tablets and they only ever kinda-worked. If WT’s ears are inflamed but not ulcerated, definitely try a steroidal spray. They can be on it lifelong with no adverse affects
