Rune: I think Pecha. I like how sweet they are... and they remind me of Dielle.
Malachi: I'm a fan of Cornn berries! They're really good in a lot of dishes.
Inigo: I like the Starf berry. They're pretty helpful in battle if you're low on energy and need a way to get back at your opponent.
Dielle: Anything that isn't a Wacan berry! I love trying out new berries, hehe.

Day 6 - Differing Tastes

Honestly, Zorua, no Zoruark? No no Emmet couldn't believe that he had to fight with his twin and Elesa just to get the ‘buying snack’ duty, I mean he was not against staying in bed, especially after – he excuse himself – the shit show that his evolution was, but still, he did not appreciate being force to stay inside the Pokemon center just for that, this was...frustrating to say the least.
He is even surprised to have been able to change their mind about it, but in the end, he did win against their objection, He loves winning more than anything. After all, pokemon battles or petty arguments do not change anything – when he knows he is right in the last case.
This is why he was choosing with difficulty – a lie, really, he remembered the duo's favorite food – the perfect snack for everyone, This was one of the most difficult tasks he had been given, especially with how different their tastes in the matter are.
Elesa has a sweet-tooth, so he had already decided on the multiple snacks composed of pecha berry she affection.
For Ingo, it was a bit more complicated, He was mostly into things that he could only describe as dry, extremely dry, There were in fact few snacks like this in the small convenient store, but he got quite lucky by finding a snack, which, for some reason, contained Cornn Berry.
And to finish, his personal snack, he had a preference for snacks based on tomato berry, so it was not difficult to choose the spiciest snack he could get.
Now that every snack was chosen, he just had to pay for them…

“Emmet I must admit I do not understand your sudden change of track to spicy food, You used to preferred more bitter stuff, if I remember well”
The trio were sitting in their respective bed, nibbling on their personnel snacks as they finally relaxed themselves, Ingo’s question took Emmet by surprise through, he knew that ‘Emmet’ use to like bitter stuff and did play along with that for a while but he couldn't stay away from his preferred – superior – punch that any spicy snack could give him.
“I discovered that I preferred spicy snack”
Curiosity seemed to grow in his twin eyes, Emmet tried to not let his smile break into a confused one as his older brother continued, “Since when? If you don’t mind, I did not know that you preferred that and even if I do not like the taste myself, it would reassure me to know that I didn’t give you for month a food that wasn’t optimal for you”
“Do not worry Ingo, I discovered this new track not that long ago if it reassure you”
Elesa decided that it was her moment to enter the discussion, not liking being out of it when she was herself in the middle of the twins. “I mean everyone tastes change, it is totally normal, but you know what his not normal guys?”
His twin seemed to think about it for a moment before shaking his head “I do not know Elesa, Emmet have you any idea for the answer”
He was his turn to think about it, but nothing really came to his mind either “I am Emmet, I have no idea”
Elesa nod at their answer, a silly smile on her lips as she start to stare Ingo “People who like dry food”
“E-Elesa, dry food is not that bad!!” stuttered his poor twin who was trying to look Emmet to get some sort of back up.
“Ingo is right Elesa, Dry food is not that bad…..It is horrific!”
Ingo could only baffled a betrayal look at that, as he and Elesa laughed at their friend's demise, suck to be him, because the two of them share a dislike of this dry flavor.

⮞ Just because you can eat it doesn't mean you should.
"For the last time," Lunya huffed in complete and utter exasperation as she was once again forced to swipe her pokéblock case from Babycorn's hands before the younger trainer could whip the lid open, "pokéblocks are for pokémon, hence the 'poké' in the name."
On her other side, G'raha laughed nervously while Babycorn pouted.
"But, but, but," Babycorn started to argue, and Lunya had to remind herself that bopping a teenager over the head was not behavior befitting a Championship Tournament finalist, "if it's made with cornn berries then it's gotta be for Babycorn too!"
Lunya sighed.
That day they were having a picnic on LN-Route 1, the road leading outside of Limsa Lominsa in the direction of Summerford City. The cool Vylbrand breeze was tempered by the warmth of the midday sun, and as the trainers lounged around the picnic blankets, their pokémon made the most of their break by playing in the river and weaving in and out of the tall grass.
Once Lunya's pokéblock case was safely retrieved from the hands of the gluttonous Lalafell she'd ever met, she stuffed it in her picnic basket, where it was only marginally more safe than it was out in the open around the likes of her pikachu or G'raha's whimsicott or, once again, Babycorn Starsinger. They were still waiting for a few more friends to arrive for lunch, which was proving to be a test for the hungrier members of the party.
"I'm sure the others will be here soon," Butter soothed Babycorn, and what a match those two were turning out to be. They even had matching names and everything! Lunya eyed her traveling companions with a quirk of her lips—she missed being back on the road like this, simply wandering around and enjoying the company of your pokémon and friends and forging bonds and watching bonds being forged.
Their respective siblings were on the younger side but they were growing into great trainers she could absolutely picture at a future Championship Tournament. Right now, Pancake and Cherrypit were having a friendly battle down by the river, though the match up was a little silly between their joltik and cutiefly, since neither pokémon was taller than a ballpoint pen. It made Lunya want to stretch her legs and join them.
Hm…
"Raha," she said, turning to her friend, and G'raha sat up in interest. "Let's have a battle while we're waiting!"
"You mean a one-sided thrashing," G'raha laughed, but he rose from the blanket anyway to put his shoes back on. "Is it wise to leave the picnic basket unattended?"
"No!" Lunya chirped. "But I'm restless and Haze is watching." At the mention of his name, her venusaur extended his vines with a fwip and wrapped them around Babycorn and her maractus. "Chelinka Babycorn Starsinger," Lunya called threateningly, not even looking over her shoulder at the two figures now suspended in the air as she and G'raha strode down to the river to join Pancake and Cherrypit. "If you know what's best for you, you and your maractus will stay out of that picnic basket until we're done!"
"AW, COME ON!"

whichh one of your pokémon 🥨 is constantly begging for treats?
I have two that fit this, actually: my first Murkrow and Starpoint, one of the resident Misdreavus!
They both just absolutely love food. Murky will eat anything, I always have to keep food stored in places that require opposable thumbs or he Can and WILL steal everything he can get his beak on, and you can bribe him to do nearly anything in the world for an oran or cornn berry.
Starpoint has much more of a sweet tooth though. She loves any sweet pokemon treat, she's especially fond of cakes and pastries, and I often have to feed her separately from the other ghosts because she eats physical food with much more eagerness than any other ghost I have, and the others will let her sneak over and finish their leftovers. She has more, ah... discipline than Murky though. She's definitely not a trouble maker and she begs because she's polite enough to Ask for it and not Steal it, at least.
That doesn't mean she won't get the more mischievous Misdreavus to pull off a food heist FOR her, though... I swear, my ghosts are never so social as they are when they're making mischief.

Red is more spiritual than religious. He considers every legendary to be a deity in their own right. He considers Arceus to be the creator of things, and finds a deeper connection to the pantheon from Sinnoh than anywhere else, but that's more to do with his heart living there than anything else- it feels like home.

He's not, thankfully! At least, none that he's encountered.
durin berry - is there a specific trainer that your muse looks up to?
Green. Without a doubt Green. He's strong, smart, and well. He's got his crush. Outside of that? Probably Ingo! He feels like he would understand him. Not Emmet though, at least not right now. He's got stupid pointless beef with Emmet.

pamtre berry - is there any specific victory or achievement that your muse takes great pride over?
Red takes great pride in his victory over Brock, specifically. At the time his team consisted only of Pikachu and a pidgey he eventually parted ways with years down the line, and it took a combination of budding strategy and brute force to get over the major type disadvantage.
He also takes a lot of pride in his first step into Sinnoh. It was a trip with an alternate of his, met on Mt. Silver where the space between realities is particularly thin, and that first fearful step was the first step on his new journey. It helped him become who he is today.
persim berry - if your muse could go back and do over a part of their journey, what would they have done differently?
He would have never gone to the shore of Cinnibar island. The events that took place on the shoreline is what lead to the most traumatic, horrific events of his life, that fundamentally ruined his life and ended five others. He would show up, get the badge by steamrolling with Blastoise, and leave. He could find somewhere else to train.
yache berry - what ‘key items’ did/does your muse haul around with them on their journey?
Back in the day, Red traveled extremely light. Just garbage he found on his journey in his pack, some healing items, sodapops, pokeballs. This resulted in lots and lots and lots of gold nuggets appearing spontaneously in his old bag, even to this day, a side effect of reality breaking apart in just a specific way.
Nowadays, Red is way more prepared. He keeps Pikachu's "work vest" on him at all times, in case they need to go into places that are more strict about keeping pokemon in pokeballs, he has a phone now, and a simple tent when on longer trips. He also carries a small notebook, used to communicate with others that don't know sign. He used to just tough through the situations, but people are far less patient now that he's an adult.

So I’m playing Brilliant Diamond to up my berry count so I can make Dry Poffins to evolve a Feebas I’m going to be sending in from Sword to transfer back to Sword (As I want a best IV Milotic in Sord but don’t want to bother with the Prism Scale trading BS) and I didn’t know until now that you could get rare berries from strolling with a Pokemon in Amity Park.
Now I’m getting Pamtre, Cornn and other berries from general strolling :D

PMD: Unbounded Fates
Chapter 6
Weeks after
[PEV] [NEXT]
Three weeks has passed by since Sevin's first job but all of the jobs he's been doing that Ruby picked are mostly the same, go to some shop or restaurant of some kind in the town and make sure no fights break out but none even do. Ruby has been less frequent of her insults to Sevin but it becomes more personal but it strangely doesn’t bother him and Sevin is trying to talk to Ruby but she gives him the cold shoulder or barely gives a response other than telling him what to do and not even bothering to say his name. Doc came over to Sevin during the second week mostly to check on his shotty memories asking questions like “do you know any family members name” and “do you know where you lived or what area?”. Sevin can only remember the area he lived in; it was dry, sometimes dusty, hot, and barren.
But now Sevin is waiting for Ruby to pick a job which she has been taking for a long time. Ruby picks one and gives it to Sevin like always he reads the paper first and it is different. It says someone needs their help with making something, it has a name but he can’t read it even though his understanding of the strange written language has gotten better.
Sevin gives the paper to Murkrow which she accepts and both Sevin and Ruby make their way, Sevin follows Ruby like always. Both pass through town making it to the other side Sevin tries to start up a conversation again “Soo why did you pick this job in particular from the other ones we do?”
“Got bored of the jobs cause nothing happenes and there was none on the board.”
“Well I think it's a good change, I never really liked those kinds of jobs.”
“Well there are only high paying jobs and I need the Poké to get out of the jail made apartments.”
“Well I can lend you some of my Poké if ya need it.”
“Well I don't want your Poké Zoroark”
“I have a name you know?”
“Yea I know your name, I just chose not to use it.”
Before Sevin can say any more they arrive at their destination, a house just on the edge of the forest that surrounds the town. The house itself is fairly large; the door is almost twice Sevin size. Moss mostly covered the base of the house while vines crawl on its sides, like the forest itself is trying to claim this house for itself. Sevin goes to the fairly large door and knocks. Sevin begins to hear large thumps becoming louder and louder then it stops at the door. The door gently goes back to reveal Mama Argon with a sweet smile. “Little Zorua what are you doing here?”
“You posted a job saying you needed help.” Sevin replied
Mama Argon looked surprised “Oh, I didn’t know you joined the program. Well, if helps you-” Ruby interrupts sounding a bit fussy “Excuse me but can you tell us what we need to do? So I can leave you two your reunion or something.”
Mama Argon gives a stern look to Ruby who repays by giving one back. Mama Argon goes back into the house and comes back with a large woven basket. Then hands it to Ruby which she struggles to hold. Mama gives a smile “I need this basket filled with Cornn Berries, so off you go I need Little Zorua to help me prepare the pies.”
Ruby walks off as Mama gives a wave and then ushers Sevin inside. Once inside the living room it almost looks like Cindy’s living room but a lot smaller and to the left is a kitchen where the books would be, the living room part has lots of rugs almost covering every inch and one the two stumps seats is large and covered in a cloth handmade it seems. As for the kitchen it has cupboards and counters but a stone oven separate in the middle. Mama goes to the kitchen and pulls an entourage of wooden pie pans. Sevin picks one up “Are you sure this would handle the heat?”
Mama grabbing the ingredients to make pie dough “Well of course it can handle the heat, they're made from the trees at mt.Famma. Which is still spewing lava if I recall. But anyways, mix these ingredients together into this bowl.”
Mama passes over several small bowls containing the ingredients salt,sugar,flour, and water. Then hands him a large bowl and a stick with a flat top. “Place the ingredients into the bowl, mix it until it gets hard then fluff it with your hands. While you do that I’ll prepare the other berries to cook.”
Sevin puts the ingredients together and begins to mix. Mama also does her part pulling and slicing the berries “How Cindy doing Little Zorua?”
“She is doing fine." Sevin replies
Sevin stops mixing as he realised he over mixed the pie dough, he gives a defeated sigh. Mama just gives a small laugh as gabs the bowl and begins to place the dough into the pans then molds it. Then she places the berries into pies then places them into the oven. “Hey Mama, did you send Ruby to grab some berries for the pies?” Sevin question
“Well of course I did but the Cornn berries are way out of season so she won’t find any.” Mama explains
“But I didn’t do it without reason, I did it because I wanted to talk about her with you.” Mama adds
“I know she is a bit rude and a bit mean, but she is ok I guess.”
“I know she is a good pokemon Little Zorua, but she reminds me a lot like me….a pokemon with some problems.”
“What are you trying to imply Mama?”
“What I’m implying is you should talk about your sacr, give some ground she could relate too. I may be an old battle-worn Argon, but I’m still wise enough to tell you to stand your ground and put up a barrier for her not to cross.”
Sevin wants to say something but Mama is right he does need to talk to ruby “Ok I’ll talk to Ruby.”
Mama just pulls the pies out the oven then pulls a cloth out the cupboards and wraps around one of the pies, then gives it to Sevin along with the red ticket. “Here a small extra reward Little Zorua and tell Ruby to place the basket near the door.”
Sevin leaves the house saying his goodbye to Mama. As takes the outside view he sees Ruby furiously walking towards him. Oddly Sevin find this funny he try his best not to laugh but instead a grin lays on his face “Just put the basket near the door, we are done with the job.”
Ruby tosses the baset and leaves, Sevin follows. Once at the bord Sevin turns in the ticket and grab the reward, 200 poké they only get but instead of spitting it 50/50 like Sevin alway do he just gives it to Ruby “Here I don’t need the cash, I got pie. Also I need to talk about something.”
“Yea sure we can talk….tomorrow.” Ruby responds walking away
Sevin doesn’t take this lightly and rushes up to Ruby “I want to talk now not tomorrow Ruby. It's not gonna take too much of your time.”
Ruby stops and turns around and crosses her arms waiting for Sevin. Sevin takes a deep breath and exhales “Look I know that you don't like me, you made it pretty obvious when we both met. You don't have to like me but be at least somewhat nice to me. Also I shoulda told you this earlier, but I need to tell you how I got this scar on my eye. I woke up near a lake with no memories. I didn't even know my own name till a day later. Even then it was just an alias, but when I went down the beach I was jumped and lost my eye. Now I can't shake the feeling I’m being watched by someone. So can you stop with the insults and try to be a bit nice to me?”
Ruby just walks away not giving the slightest response and Sevin just stands there and watches. Sevin walks back to Cindy’s house where Cindy herself is reading. Sevin offers some pie which she accepts and both have some pie. The pie was good

B is for berries! What berries do you find yourself around the most?
Oh, that's easy! I have a berry garden. I grow lum berries, haban berries, cornn, kasib, persim, sitrus, and leppa berries.
The persim and kasib berries are by necessity; with so many ghosts around here, they don't always get along, and though battles don't break out very often (as Misdreavus aren't particularly aggressive), it's good to have them on hand when they do. Persim berries also help people come back to themselves after a bout of Mismagius hallucinations, I've found.
The haban and cornn berries are for making poffins to help condition Misdreavus I'm raising for a contest coordinator client!
And of course, the sitrus and leppa are to help the Misdreavus I'm raising for a battler or my own team recover from a hard day's work.
In my adventure days, I always kept a good stock of lum berries, oran berries (as much to feed Murky as for the healing, because he loooves dry berries), and usually had a packet of dried berries with lots of flavors to add nutrition to my team's diet.

Breeze, as a Breeder, you've gotta have some opinions on what foods are best for each general group of Pokémon, right? So what are some of your top recommended foods, premade or homemade, for a Trainer to give their best friends??
Before we begin: I am 100% more for making the food yourself, but if you don’t know how, premade works fine, so long as you get the right type. I’ll be sharing the best premade option and best ingredient choices for homemade for each type.
Normal:
Premade- Very Berry Mix Bites. They’re usually soft and they’re healthy.
Homemade- Some grain {preferably rice, but any will work}, at least 3 Oran Berries, an apple, at least 2 sweet berries, 1-3 of the preferred berry of whatever pokemon you’re making for, and 1-2 green veggies. If the pokemon being made for is carnivorous, replace the apple and 1-3 of the berries with a protein of some sort. {Tauros jerky is the most recommended}
Fighting:
Premade- Protein Salad by Veilstone Markets. Veilstone is one of the only places that understands the importance of what fighting-types need and has a department store.
Homemade- Some tofu, some veggies, at least 1 Chesto Berry, a spicy berry, and something juicy {whether it’s a fruit or not}. Increase amount here of the numbered ones as needed with the size of the pokemon it’s for.
Flying:
Premade- Walker’s Power Bird Seeds. Even though not all flying-types are birds, all of them benefit from eating seeds.
Homemade- Any non-toxic seeds, some grains, at least one of either a Bulk, Razz, Cornn, Rindo, Jaboca, Strib, or Leppa berry. Rebalance if working with pokemon that don’t often come across edible grains. Add a protein if a carnivore.
Poison:
Premade- Edible Sludgies. Sludgies are a brand of muck made especially to be enjoyed by poison-types, and to increase the potency of their toxins.
Homemade- At least 3 toxic plants, at least one Lum berry, a slightly overripe fruit. Wrap it in edible paper {most recommended being rice paper}. If carnivorous, add some fresh or thawed meat. Do not try and recreate a Sludgie. Only poison experts know what mucks and sludges are safe for all poison-types.
Ground:
Premade- Generic Ground poke-food. All “fancy” name brand ground-type foods tend to have too much and can make ground-types too lazy or sick if they have too much of it.
Homemade- Root vegetables, a small amount of grain. Add a single fruit if it’s springtime. If carnivorous, add bug protein.
Rock:
Premade- Pewter City Mountain Mix. It’s just had the best results of any that I’ve tried out. A good runner up is Oreburgh Gem Ovals.
Homemade- A small amount of dirt or pebbles mixed in with a berry salad. Berries involved should be hard ones mixed with soft ones, nothing medium. The few carnivorous ones should have at least one type of protein added.
Bug:
Premade- Honey covered Bug Feed. Basic bug food is good on its own, of course, but putting honey on it will make it more likely that the pokemon will eat it, as well as gives them less that they need to eat.
Homemade- Any non-toxic fruit, any non-toxic greens, a few Coba berries and/or Occa berries, and of course honey. Most bug-types also will eat other bugs, so some bug protein will also be helpful.
Ghost:
Premade- ????. I have yet to find a premade ghost-type food that’s healthy for them, likely to be eaten, and still in circulation.
Homemade- Kasib berries, grains, herbs, and proteins. You can also add some Colbur berries or substitute Kasib berries with Colbur berries if you wish.
Steel:
Premade- Canalave Crunch for Pokemon. While safe to eat for most pokemon, it’s healthy for steel-types.
Homemade- Apples, spinach, beans and/or tofu, broccoli, at least 2 Occa berries, and at least 3 hard berries. Shave some metals on top of it if you can.
Fire:
Premade- Spicy Fire Mix. Comes in hard pellets, soft food, and even a curry mix!
Homemade- Curry powder, at least one Cheri berry, hot peppers, Figy berries, an 8th to half a Tamato berry, and some breadcrumbs. If carnivorous, add red meats.
Water:
Premade- Juicy Bits for Swimmers. Made with things that swim all the time in mind.
Homemade- Seaweed, root vegetables, cucumbers, Watmel berries, at least one Pecha berry, and some lettuce. Add fish if a carnivorous species.
Electric:
Premade- Rechargers™. Specially made to help electric types keep their electricity under control.
Homemade- Unfortunately, electric types are hard to work with for homemade foods. The only things that always work from my experience are root vegetables and Shuca berries. This type is best on making homemade with individual species than whole type. However, if you get a lightning rod, you could harness electricity for them, and all electric pokemon need some electricity for health.
Psychic:
Premade- Mind Granola. A lot of the best psychic-type foods look a lot like human snacks or breakfasts, and this is no exception.
Homemade- Oats, Tanga, Kasib, and/or Colbur berries, honey, and some herbs or spices. Add some protein for the carnivorous ones.
Ice:
Premade- Frozen Bites. Best served still, well, frozen.
Homemade- Any combination of fruit juice, Occa berry chunks, milk or water, and herbs or small greens you see fit. All to be mixed together and frozen. Add small pieces of a protein for the carnivorous ones.
Dragon:
Premade- Lance’s Legend Feed. The food was made to allow dragon-types strength and health.
Homemade- Haban berries, corn or rice, gem water {water that had gemstones in it}, lemon, Enigma berries, Liechi berries, a protein, some greens and/or herbs, and a small amount of honey.
Dark:
Premade- Shadow Snacks. Works as meals for Dark-types, and snacks for Ghost-types.
Homemade- Black beans, a small amount of seaweed, Bulk berries, Ganlon berry juice, Enigma berries, Roseli berries, and a bit of black pepper. Add bug protein or red meats if carnivorous.
Fairy:
Premade- Ballonlea’s Beautiful Brunch™. It’s the only one I’ve seen that isn’t dangerous in large amounts to the pokemon’s health.
Homemade- Edible flowers, any sweet berry, 2 apples, some leafy greens, a bit of honey. If carnivorous, add some meat and remove an apple or the greens. {no artificial or plant proteins! They don’t work as well!}
