And now here are my finalized designs for the Black King and White Queen (original here)

So I did end up basing parts of their designs on both Dark Choco Cookie and Dark Cacao Cookie, since if we’re going by the idea that these two were the rulers of the Shattered Kingdom, it would stand to reason that since Dark Choco was the prince of the kingdom, they’d be his parents (also I’m fairly certain that in the Ovenbreak timeline, the Ancient Heroes never existed. Some may have counterparts that fill certain roles, but there aren’t any one to ones. This means no Dark Cacao Cookie). So you know, should probably make them resemble him. Though maybe with giving them both red eyes and similar dough colors, I made them look a bit too similar

Or maybe they have no relation to him at all. In which they just look oddly similar to him and no one’s sure why, including them. I dunno

I feel like these two are somewhere in between “Cookie forms of chess enemies” and “royalty of the Shattered Kingdom” and I never figured out which one they are. Oh well

I mean I still like their designs well enough

here r some funfacts for each month's art under the cut:

January: this was based on a post by one of my closest mutualz, stellawolf1!!! actually, itz a bit because of that fanart that we started to talk xP

February: yeah.

March: i had SO MUCH brainrot for this event and for these two. actually, this event and the one before this were my favourites of this year, handz down.

also, when i did this, i was so proud of the background and the detailz and all, but then i realised it looked kinda wonky so im like :/

April: i actually drew this based on a one-shot i was writing, but unfortunately it is still a wip. but basically? fire spirit fudging DIES.

May: crossover between my two favourite fandomz, letz goooooo!!!!!

for context, i was doing a one month event on instagram and one of the promptz was to do a crossover so.

June: handz down my favourite one from the whole year..... until december came in.

it is actually my phone's wallpaper while we're speaking :)

oh, and i used an anime base for reference.

July: was a good lineless experiment, didnt do one of these for some time. itz my persona but prettier!!!

and ppl kept complementing the background and like.... itz a stock bg from ibis with some colourz sprayed on KDHDKDHDKSHSKSK

August: i think this is when i started to get better with drawing side faces, and it showz!!!!! also i was listening to the fox's wedding on loop while drawing this lol

September: i actually did the sketch much before finishing it (in june/july...?) so thatz why it lookz weird compared to the august one

October: was in doubt whether i put this one or the prince dacta one this month. i only decided this one because the pose on the other one was too stiff and it was just one person, while this one was quite challenging and fun to do!!!! also, block men.

oh, and one of my mutualz here complemented my colouring and drew something based off my art!!!!! which is awesome!!!!! thx dragonoffanfiction!!!!!

November: thatz just a youtuber i like to watch sometimes :) i was just training full body (but the image was too big so i had to cut it)

December: REALLY POGGERZ ART of two of my favourite cookiez!!!! favourite art of the whole year cuz hot DAMN.

i actually liked doing timekeeper's side more than croissant's, specially their eyes, sorry-

Guess what? I AM REBRANDING, BOIZ! I got tired of my old and uncreative name so I spent the last weeks trying to come up with a name I liked! And thus Anubisyx came to be. At first it was going to be ArteNyx but that was taken. My tumblr has also been changed to Anubisyx. -------- I tried looking for a name that spoke to me. I was always really fond of astronomy and Greek mythology, and the fact that they are connected makes things ten times better. Unfortunately the name I had come up with before (ArteNyx: mix of Artemis and Nyx) had been taken, so I resulted to Ancient Egyptian gods since I am also fond of it as well! Anubisyx is a mixture of Anubis: Egyptian God of the dead (and embalming), and Nyx: Greek goddess of the night. I combined both essences and that's why you see the space-y background because the night is essentially space. That is also why there's a spaceship hanging off the eye of Anubis, with Jupiter as the iris as well. The tail of the "A" (which also makes part of the Eye of Anubis) has a curled tail with a skull at the end, hence Anubis God of the dead. I also included my old logo at the top so all of the art under that logo can still be recognized as mine, but from now on I'll be using the new logo. Goodbye DiamondCookiezzz,hello Anubisyx! (You guys can still call me Cookiez tho!) Anyways, what do you guys think?
