Škoda 110 R, 1970. The 100/110 Type 717/722 were rear engined 4-door saloons that date from the communist era when Škoda was state-owned. The 110 R (Type 718) was a fastback coupé based on the 110 saloon created to appeal to Western European tastes and generate foreign exchange. It remained in production for a decade during which time 56,902 were made.

Trying to ask my grandma if she knows anything about Finnish folklore/mythology as I learned about it recently, and she loves talking about our family history but all she said was "...Does the Communism count?"

Americans have a lot of misconceptions about Europe but one of the funniest got to be the idea that Eastern Europeans are somehow much less racist than Western Europeans. Like no they're not. I kind of love it when (non Russian) cartoons/kids media in general depicts modern day Russia as 1. Still being the Soviet Union or 2. Just this hellish place where everyone is miserable and fucked up and there’s barely even civilization it’s like this cold desolate place.
There are probably some kind of political implications to this but idc it’s funny
#I suspect it’s often portrayed as still the Soviet Union because#ppl don’t know how to depict Russia as miserable without depicting it as communist#and bc I think many people genuinely never moved past the Cold War era perception of Russia#however Kermit the frog going to the gulag in the modern day is the funniest fucking thing so I don’t really care
