James was giving her a piggyback ride to her next class, carrying her books, and people were giving them strange looks. People often assumed they were together, which always made things awkward whenever either of them asked someone out

They weren’t. Absolutely not.

James sighed dramatically. “You’re best friends! She barely even likes me.”

“Yeah, alright—”

“—tosser” James grumbled.

“But—” Mary interjected, “she’s probably straight, so you still have the advantage.”

James had snorted. “Wanna bet?”

“On what? Who can sweep Lily off her feet first?”

James put her down, wiggling his eyebrows— which only ever meant mischief and trouble. “Yes.”

Mary loved mischief, so of course she took the bait. “Alright, get ready to lose.” she said and snagged the books from him.

I have less than 1k to repay to that dogshit school who made me pay 12k (the total was 19k) cos they thought they could escape bankruptcy 👊😂 took so long to repay but I'm finally almost doneeeee (was giving away 50% of my paycheck every two weeks LOL)

Some Bael designs for my uni comics project. He’s based on the Astomi Greek myth, a group of men with no mouths who gained their nourishment through pleasant smelling things.

Poor Bael, while assisting on a mission alongside two others of his group, has to navigate surviving a zombie apocalypse as a guy who can be killed by seriously unpleasant smells.

Good luck to him.

This design is about two months old nearly which is wild, if I hadn’t started uni I hope I could’ve done more to work on the project.

sci com is SOOOO lit. i honestly think my program is the best one ever, we study 3 main areas: 1) wildlife documentary filmmaking 2) science writing 3) museum studies — but we also do loads of multimedia stuff like animation and podcasts and for our final year, we write an academic thesis but also create something novel…

for mine i made a video game!!! it’s a dating simulator “The Ugly Club” based on bird of the year. in aotearoa, bird of the year is a nationwide event where the whole country gets really angry and impassioned about what the best bird is. it’s a funny silly game but i’m also secretly researching a range of things: can this game be used to encourage empathy for uncharismstic fauna? do anthropomorphism and prosocial ludonarratifes have real-life behavioural implications? what is the sexiest bug?

you can play the game here!! it’s nominated for two awards at the australasian games festival next week actually. it may or may not have won… that’s only for me to know right now ;o)

Com&Kids Searching for Tamagotchi Uni Fans in France for News Appearance

Com&Kids is a communications, media, and events agency in the family/kids sector. Bandai Japan has partnered with Com&Kids since the launch of the Tamagotchi Uni back in July, 2023. They also facilitated the Tamagotchi booth at the Japan Expo in Paris, France this summer.

They just recently posted to their Instagram story that they are looking for one or two children who are fans of the Tamagotchi Uni for a filming for JT (the journal) on network France 2, which is a national news broadcast television show. If you’re interested, Com&Kids is asking you to contact them by direct message on their Instagram profile for further information.
