Hey guys, I finally made a comms sheet. Took me long enough lol

I had to fork out £125 for emergency vet bills last night, and while I could afford it, I have bills coming up next month and I don’t want to worry about budgeting before I can get a summer job. So, I got my shit together and actually organised a sheet with definite prices.

People characterise Ghastly as 'the sensible one', and yes, he is sensible generally, but I also think it's worth bearing in mind that sometimes, he only seems sensible because he's standing next to Skulduggery Pleasant. It's comparative.

This is the guy who is best friends with Skulduggery who is, you know, Skulduggery. This is the man who fell in love with Tanith Low.

This is the man who, during the middle of a centuries-long war, as a member of an elite squad, went missing for weeks (his friends thought he might be dead) and what was he doing? He was in a cabin with a French woman. Ghastly Bespoke was in the middle of a war, and decided to peace out to have a weeks-long hookup. If he'd had a phone, you know the notifications would have been turned off. Responsibilities, who? The man looked around at death and destruction and thought, you know what? There is a pretty woman with me and I will take some 'me time'. Love that for him.

Sometimes I’ll go back and reread Mortal Coil (cause it’s one of my favourites) and I always get to the Tanith possession part and it breaks my heart every time.

But it’s specifically the part where Tanith first gets possessed by the remnant and Val runs away from her. And she thinks ‘I might just make it, I’ve been training super hard I’m going to make it.’

And then she turns, sees Tanith absolutely sprinting at her and realises that her best friend, her older sister, has been going easy on her all those times she’s been training with her. To the point where Val was tricked into thinking they’re somewhat on the same level.

And I think it’s such a good detail because it makes Val realise no this isn’t Tanith because she would never show Val up like that. She has only ever wanted to make Val feel strong about herself.

I don’t know it just hurts because that’s the moment we know we’ve lost her.

I’m rereading #SkulduggeryPleasant atm! 😁 I’d forgotten how much I adore those books & characters! Val & Fletch have always been my favourite book couple- it’s lovely to see them again 🥰

That sofa bed scene happens in Death Bringer right after Melancholia tears Valkyrie apart. She had to go to Skul's house to wait for the surgical scars to disappear after Nye saved her. Remember how that happened? She managed to call Fletcher, and since he didn't know exactly where she was I assume he started teleporting around in the dark until he found her, shredded and pumping blood all over the grass. Can we take a second to appreciate how bad some of the stuff that's happened to Fletch is?

Oh Fletcher got done dirty by like. Everyone except Ghastly, and he deserves better. Poor boy has Seen Some Shit

Handbook Fletcher is flatsharing with Gracious and Donegan and they're working on Monster Hunter-y shit together. They have a popular Buzzfeed Unsolved style show and he's thoroughly enjoying being a minor celebrity when they're in Roarhaven.

Did a comic page for uni, the task was to use sketch fab assets as drawing references, so I used them for the horses and added everything else around it.
