i don’t have big opinions on cnco breaking up, if it’s truly what they want then i 100% support it. they’ve been together almost 8 years, they’ve lasted longer than most boy bands do now a days. it’s natural yknow they’re getting older and they aren’t as big as they used go be which is also normal.

i will say though, a lot of the rumors i’ve seen i also kinda agree that things are suspicious. they were all super excited for this new era now all of a sudden they’re separating. not to sound like a delusional fan but it genuinely is kinda weird how things have played out. also the way they announced it was very odd. on such a big stage like that… after winning an award? to me, it seemed more of a cry for help either that or them trying to make a statement. it was so abrupt and out of place that it just didn’t feel right. we know their management is garbage & treats them like they are garbage. it definitely wouldn’t be the first time a boy band got screwed over by management. i remember when The Wanted were on their last tour before taking a break they literally would say things on stage like “we don’t want this.” wouldn’t surprise me if we see cnco saying things like that in the future.

as a chris girl, i know either way that that man does not want this. it was written all over his face when they announced it. this band is his life and i just feel for him. but, i’m happy we’re getting a new album still, a tour, a tv show and least a good amount of time to say goodbye. i hope things work out for them.

I don’t know what to think anymore. What Richard said in one interview seemed more like than a break rather than a separation. Those guys got the band tattooed on themselves and yet you want me to believe they happily choose to disband? Something is off. The announcement was weird. How can you start by saying this new era is their best one so far to DECIDE TO DISBAND?? SUS.

BUT i’ve also read somewhere major artists are facing problems with WK and all its shit. Like what if this is actually a break and they decided to take it to pursue different roads regarding cnco’s future? like a new label that will actually take care of their career as a band? so many BUTs and IFs 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was watching a reaction video about CNCO separating and some of the comments this person said surprised me.

1) this person said that since Joel has left the band CNCO has lost their essence of who they were before and that their favorite song of this era is La Equivocada because that is the song that brings back the essence of CNCO that they liked.

2) it was also said that CNCO is no longer comfortable singing their lyrics and this person felt like they were being forced to sing more mature content against their will.

3) also one last thing this person said that without Joel it feels like CNCO is just missing something.

I was very surprised by these comments because I don’t agree with any of them. I never thought that CNCO was uncomfortable singing the new mature lyrics in fact they helped write them. I like the song La Equivocada but I don’t think that the others songs are lacking the essence of CNCO, and lastly I have never imagined how Joel’s voice would sound in the new songs or thought that without Joel, CNCO is missing something.

I’m curious to know your thoughts about this person reaction. Do you think that CNCO has lost their essence? Do you think something is missing without Joel in the band? Do you think CNCO is uncomfortable with the new mature lyrics?

I love the new music video!! They all look so happy and you could tell they were enjoying themselves. They seem so much more relaxed! The lighting, colors and effects were super cool without being overdone. The plot of the video matched the song. The aesthetic was pretty. The boys looked cute. There was finally some diversity too! All in all, super well done! I’m loving this new era so far 😍😍
