criminal minds s11 finale - the storm - SUCH a good episode - and a great season finale
it was so intriguing and just so fun to watch - and I was genuinely worried about Aaron and so confused lmao
I fucking love JJ, she's the absolute best and my fave forever
and omg the kids are so big already, we haven't seen them in a while hahaha
also, I just love when they hang out at Rossi's
and the set-up for the next season oh my god!! this makes the episode even better ngl, and I can't wait to see s12😍
(also, I was wondering if they'll circle back to the man with the skull tattoo from like episode 8 but they didn't? I was thinking about it the whole season lmao I guess it kinda shows how not all bad guys can be caught and all that, but still, I thought that since we saw him at the end of that eps, we'd get back to it haha)
and I see the d+ description of the next episode that agent Luke Alvez joins the team 👀 so I guess he's Morgan's replacement? I'm excited to meet him haha - I still miss Derek a lot tho
(but tbh at this point, after Alex and Kate being there for one season each, and after they took Prentiss and then Derek, I'm lowkey afraid to get attached to new characters lmao I hope Tara's still there in s12 haha)

can we talk about asher douglas?
while criminal minds has a complicated relationship with autism representation, this particular scene for me at least is so important and so, so relatable. it's the kind of thing tv autism doesn't normally show, and i appreciate that it's shown here.
and i just really really love all of this, i love his character in general, and i love the way reid interacts with him, and the way the others let reid take charge and be the one to conduct his interview.
(also, this scene hints at canon autistic reid, and i like that.)
