4 Interesting Benefits to Learning How to Ride a Unicycle or Clown Bike
If you already actively cycle for exercise or recreation, you might think you have little reason to take up the discipline of learning how to ride a different type of cycle - like an odd bike or a unicycle.
But learning how to ride a clown bike or a unicycle is no joke or mean feat. It requires determination and dedication and is the farthest thing from easy.
Plus, learning how to ride one of these will carry some of the following benefits.
Improve Heart Health
Unicycling, specifically, entails cardiovascular benefits that are in league with exercises that are much more strenuous, despite the fact that it is a low-impact exercise.
Like bicycling, unicycling will get your heart pumping and will improve cardiovascular performance and stamina, but unlike cycling, unicycling requires a much greater effort on your part to stay balanced and in control of the rig.
Moderate riding is similar to jogging - which is another great exercise to boost stamina, except unicycling is low-impact, making it better for your joints.
Build Strength
Naturally, learning to ride a unicycle, or performing tricks on a clown bike, is going to require no small effort from you.
It might seem like a lower-body exercise (and it is, technically) but unicycling is a full-body workout.
Staying balanced and maintaining a course, either forward or backward, even at low speed on a flat surface, will build leg, glute, and core strength. You’ll need to work your upper body to stay balanced, too.
Improve Coordination
Staying balanced on a unicycle is not just about core strength and leg strength. It is also about coordination and responding to changing variables in real time.
Just riding on a flat surface will command your entire attention to keep in control of the unicycle and maintain your balance.
But if you really want a challenge - ride outdoors on a trail, or learn how to hop or how to pedal with one foot.
This discipline can vastly improve your coordination, which is beneficial to all different sorts of athletes.
Boost Critical Thinking
Unicycling is a unique challenge that, due to its nature, may actually be able to hone your critical thinking skills.
Since it is inherently different from bicycling, just learning how to ride will require you to address a new challenge - itself entailing critical thinking.
But, if you learn how to perform tricks or even how to play a sport like unicycle hockey, you stand to benefit even more.
Thinking About Getting a New Unicycle, Clown Bike or Other Odd Bike?

Today was my first motorcycle rider course thingy!
Rather fun, it really just feels like riding a bike with added complexity of a gearbox. I struggled with the clutch a lot today and stalled many times, I felt embarrassed but never discouraged. It’s not like a car clutch at all you can sit in the slip and it won’t toast it… but it’s just 125cc so maybe that’s why. The courses and drills were pretty straight forward, an emphasis on emergency braking and leaning in turns. The E braking was tough - you gotta use both hands and both feet to operate all the controls to come to a sudden stop safely. Rewarding in the end. I was put on a Kawasaki z125 — I’m way too big for this bike LOL my peers told me I looked like I was riding a clown bike… The other bikes were some old Hondas ( they still have carburetors, imagine that ) and an old Harley with a big old dent in the fuel tank. You can tell these bikes ( beside the 4 z125’s which have 150miles on the OD ) are well loved and have helped teach countless people.
What I found really intriguing too were the people attending. From a guy who got a ticket for not having a license, an older man looking to get a scooter to commute with, a Russian guy who left his country to not participate in the war efforts - ending up in Miami looking to work as a food currier on a moped, the classic I’ve always wanted one / I grew up on dirt bikes and rode on the back with my parents. Here I was with the marge meme: I just think they’re neat. It’s nice to talk to people of all walks of life, I can appreciate that. The two instructors also have such unique banter. These two wake up at 5am 4 days a week to work here till 1pm, they complain about the students, their pets, the sun, drivers, you name it. Yet they show such patience for us newbies, although they would rather talk about training their 9month old kitten first.
Day one passed onto day two.

js rebinged both it movies (I may be re-entering my it brainrot) and I have a question
genuinely why are mike and bill not a more common ship????
did we watch the same movies??? because when I watched chapter two, right before the end of the movie, there was this scene that ended with this:
Mike: "Hey, Bill..." *hesitant pausing* "..I love you, man."
Bill: *soft lil laugh* "I love you, too."
and uhm Bill is the only one we see Mike check on out of the group at the end??? and we saw Mike call everyone at the beginning, but the scene with 'I love you', Mike only called Bill?????
and they're both book nerds???
and Bill is the only one Mike shows the ritual shit to??? and looks at him like this while doing so???
and there's the scene where they pull this gay shit
did I watch a different movie or am I just painfully unaware of the hanbrough fan base
cuz from what I've seen most of the shit in their ao3 tag has them as a background ship
y'all sleeping on them fr

I have to admire how Belle decided to cheer the kid up (awawawawa, I forgot his name) by using her clown nose! I guess it just shows that she can be fun, but then we have her literally threatening to disassemble Tangle's bike! Belle sure can be both intimidating and caring!
Also, Tangle's expression in the last panel! Girl was so fucking amazing by Belle's clown nose! And I wonder, when did Tangle ride a bike? Anyways, it's also ironic how Belle was the first to meet Starline's kids.
! ! Spoilers ! !
Belle managed to give Starline enough data for all and shit. Surge and Kit, Starline's "kids" (in my opinion), started the fire there. Belle was the first to see them, but in silhouettes. Belle didn't start the fire. It was Surge and Kit who did it.

I practically never watch livestreams, especially not video game ones, but I am very much enjoying BDG's house full of clown sims. He's getting the chat to vote on the most boring one every day and then Cask of Amontillado-ing them down into the basement.
(Edit: I don't know how twitch works and don't watch them live, but he puts them all up on youtube afterwards.)
