deep FL lore: Couriers are the messengers of the Judgements
deeper FL lore: a Courier is like a haunted porcelain doll that loves you, even though you still haven't swept up the shards from your last doll after you smashed it against the wall

The Creditor: bro relax I'm literally just vibing, we're cool, yeah I was upset about the switcheroo but I still love my spouse and all's well that ends well
The Bazaar: there's a chance the creditor is angry with me so I need to take the nuclear option immediately
The Creditor: well everything was cool until you made it uncool

Fellas. Is it gay to have a twisted and complex thing with a man over your shared resentment over the past, the blame about that loss, the lingering affection and grief you both still hold for someone lost, while holding the heart you cut out of her chest?
To slowly go mad failing to understand why she felt she had to do it?

Anyway im so fucking normal about the storybook version of the Manager-city text like oh my god.
Theres just so much here. The Manager just being referred to as an old man... the switch here with the PC being referred to as something otherwordly instead of May.... the twist of the love story here....
"it is not true, and where it is true, it is not complete"

So I built my Tracklayers' City near Burrow-Infra-Mump, as you do when you run your own parish. If you have Moonlit, you can take a look at the Mump That Wasn't.

I admit this got a laugh out of me considering the general vibe some players have around this station.

Obviously Maiserel sympathizes with the Creditor, but it seems that their solution is pointing more in the general direction of "duplicate the Creditor again and give it a do-over!"
Or perhaps in the direction of "shoot the Moon with a gun."
These are the lessons they were meant to learn, right?

Ok I was trying not to complain yet and I was expecting accessibility concerns to be fumbled in the city in silver update but sigh
The options being like... "do hard labor or you're a fake supporter of the union." Not great. Isn't the whole point of the city that no one has a job they aren't suited for? I and my character share the same disability and cannot physically do labor. And a city still needs desk jobs like bankers, engineers, lawyers, and teachers to run! White collar work is just as important, isn't inherently paid more or less abusive than blue collar work, and the schism between white collar and blue collar exists to keep us further divided—ok I'll get off the soapbox now
Also just Urgh the game continuing to assume the player is inherently selfish and motivated by their pocketbook. Maybe my character just want to hang out with friends and help
The most bothersome to me was the "home sweet home" card where you have to choose between "get a nice house and offend the revolutionaries" and "get a more modest house and save the better houses for people that might struggle more with the stairs" but hello it's me I struggle with the stairs :/
I guess I shouldn't be so stuck on it. It's just a game it's fine! It's not like there's a real world issue of "do I really deserve this accommodation" or "am I just whining for not wanting to do physical work" that I already struggle with :')
Anyway time to lay down because I have a compressed nerve in my spine. In my house that is both modest and does not have stairs

If I had a nickel every time a set of twins was conceived during a mysterious and anonymous fertility rite I'd have two nickles.
Which isn't a lot. But it's weird that it happened twice.
