#on another note i watched the super mario movie w my friends a couple days ago! it was... mildly disappointing?#i like a good story and a good emotional feeling#and it was mostly lacking those#basic plot and very few things that made me feel much at all!#but to be fair#i DID like all the fanservice teehee i do like mario a lot after all#strong 5/10?#if they make a sequel AND THEY WILL i really really need wario and waluigi to be in it. and maybe the koopalings PLEASEEEE#:3#i dont even care about punch-out much but i loved the wall of pics in the back of the restaurant#(thanks summoningsalt for making me slightly care abt this franchise)#cinemathoughts🍿#howdythoughts🌻

hmm yes. i think i'll start ranking movies that i like 👍 ill probably prioritise my personal love for the movie over the actual cinematic artistry at play for the most-part. im gonna spend a LOT of my summer holiday catching up with my watchlist...
